Why choose Crisp? Add Live Chat To Website
In this article I’ll cover our Experience with Crisp, the reason we changed, and the way you can make the perfect decision for your business and startup too. You may understand how to compare live talks and that metrics could be significant for you too. Add Live Chat To Website
How was that decision made?
Taking a Look at the market leaders With live chat feature on the market, we found Crisp through Producthunt. After we’ve created a Spreadsheet with numerous live chat vendors, we defined the core attribute and metrics we were searching for.
What did we use before?
We have Used multiple other live chat earlier, which shifted their focus from a live chat to a”all in 1 company suite”. Their live chat still works, but metrics that are significant for us were removed. We have used those metrics for our yearly reports, and customer overviews, growth rates and much more. After we were in for four months those metrics vanished and were replaced by other metrics. We’ve obtained a leaderboard for our staff members, which we did not use because we’re looking for quality support and not quantity and the pricing seems to outperform the advantage. Our choice was apparent at the moment: we needed to proceed.
We found 14 times background, 30 days History and history (for greater plans that this is common), also here the cost scaling was intriguing. All live talks we tried had that feature, some at higher price tags, others combined with a poorly executed search feature, and so the history was not available. With Crisp, the unlimited history is already available with their original paid program, and it not only ships with a reasonable price tag, but also their hunt works exceptionally well.
How many contacts do we want?
First, we attempted to answer that Question with another question”how many clients will chat with us” – and that was wrong – we made that mistake already once. We can not limit on the contacts we create because we really want to earn contact with them all. Endless contacts was what we were looking for (in an affordable price label ). What we found were chats with 100 active contacts for $0/month which was quite pleasant, we climbed that up a bit to 1,000 active contacts along with the price tag shifted from $0/m to ~$125/m or even more (~$500/m). We’ve had that experience of price scaling for the majority of the solutions. As we did the same contact metric evaluation for Crisp we saw something different:
So at Crisp, you don’t scale by use – that is enormous! They believe the same way we do at Storyblokwe do not wish to restrict the consumer to the usage of this machine (eg. Content entries or entries ), we want to scale because their staff scales. So at Crisp you choose a plan and you may scale the numbers from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or more) with exactly the same price tag.
Trigger events / messages
Automated triggers are Utilized to Send a particular message on predefined events, eg. “a guest is on the same site for over 30 seconds”. Those triggers are a fantastic method to help your audience with queries they could have. We use it on our pricing page because from time to time there are open questions regarding our pricing, possibly something isn’t covered in the FAQ section. This part can be found in all options we analyzed and largely available in the first paid plan.
Possibility to send campaign messages
From time to time we send mails Using our live chat. We think that it’s a good way to retarget our audience because we should be able to send relevant content based on some metrics people live talks offer. To be honest, we’re not sending many mails, because we hate spam on the side. Therefore we like to send certain mails to specific target groups and again: we really like the implementation in the Crisp customer. It is simple and fulfilled our needs at a reasonable price tag.
Amount of brokers
The broker chairs is rather Interesting, it’s something that you can control. You could choose one account for the entire team (which can be cheap with the majority of solutions), or you could go for one seat for each team member. Since we want to have that personal approach to our clients the idea of using one accounts for the whole team was dropped instantly. We’ve started to compare the first paid plan against most of the high tier plans to observe how the price scales . The greatest prices we found were about ~$155/m per chair where the range was somewhere from $15/m to that. We had a peek at Crisp again and found that their greatest bundle has unlimited agents chairs included. Additionally, their free plan allowed 2 agents, which was excellent for testing. Everybody loves integrations. Integrations to Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats offer integrations into the main stations. We do not really use integrations that much, but the one we use the maximum is using Slack. Slack is the principal communication tool in our company, we use it on a daily basis and added the majority of our tools already – so we focused on how they work and function with Slack. We tested some of these and most are actually working very well. We found one that has enormous delays when messaging from and to Slack that was a no-go for all of us. We reported that difficulty to these, but we don’t know whether they changed it since we left six months ago. With Crisp the integration worked immediately, notifications came immediately and the whole setup was completed in a few minutes.

This one is tricky. If you browse The last few things you noticed that we compared the lower tier programs and feature together with the highest tier plans, some are economical at the start and become costly as you use them. After using Crisp for six months now, and switched from a competitor because of the pricey”ending” and those attribute we did not need but might need to cover. We are pleased to say that we think we have the best match for us, maybe it will fit as nicely for you. We saw the list of 8 aspects above is all you need to locate your best fit.
We made contact with incredible Fantastic people (thank You!) And businesses all over the world. We could have had the exact same experience with other live discussions as well, but the price tag combined with the attribute set Crisp does provide, we would and already do recommend it to all customers who are looking for a live chat themselves. We’ve upgraded to the Crisp unlimited plan a while ago, and are glad we made that decision.
