Why choose Crisp? Add Website
In this article I’ll cover our Expertise with Crisp, why we switched, and how you can make the right decision for your company and startup too. You may know how to compare live talks and that metrics might be important for you too. Add Website
How was that decision made?
Looking at the market leaders With live chat feature on the market, we found Crisp through Producthunt. After we’ve made a Spreadsheet with multiple live chat vendors, we identified that the core attribute and metrics we were looking for.
What did we use previously?
We have Used multiple other live chat earlier, which shifted their focus from a live conversation to an”all in one company suite”. Their live chat still works, but metrics which are important for us were eliminated. We’ve used those metrics for our monthly reports, and client overviews, growth rates and much more. After we had been in for four months those metrics vanished and were replaced with other metrics. We’ve obtained a leaderboard for our staff members, which we did not use because we are looking for quality support rather than quantity and the pricing seems to outperform the advantage. So our decision was clear at the moment: we needed to proceed.
We found 14 days history, 30 days History and history (for higher plans that this is common), also here the cost scaling was intriguing. All live chats we attempted had that feature, a few at higher price tags, others together with a badly executed search feature, and so the history was not accessible. Together with Crisp, the unlimited history is currently available with their original paid plan, and it not only ships with a reasonable price tag, also their search works astoundingly well.
How many connections do we need?
First, we tried to answer that Question with another question”how many clients will chat with us?” – and that was wrong – we made that mistake already once. We can’t limit on the connections we make because we actually wish to make contact with all of them. Endless contacts was what we were looking for (in a reasonable price label ). What we found were discussions with 100 active contacts for $0/month which was quite nice, we climbed up that a bit to 1,000 active contacts and the price tag shifted from $0/m to ~$125/m or more (~$500/m). We have had that experience of cost scaling for most of the solutions. As we did the Exact Same contact metric evaluation for Crisp we saw something different:
So at Crisp, you do not scale by usage – which is enormous! They think the identical way we do in Storyblokwe do not wish to restrict the user to the use of this system (eg. Content entries or contacts), we would like to scale because their team scales. So at Crisp you select a program and you can scale the amounts from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or much more ) with exactly the same price tag.
Trigger events / communications
Automated triggers are used to Send a particular message on predefined events, eg. “a visitor is on the same site for over 30 seconds”. Those causes are a good method to help your audience with questions they may have. We use it on our pricing page because from time to time there are open questions regarding our pricing, maybe something isn’t covered in the FAQ section. This part is available in most solutions we tested and largely available in the very first paid program.
Ability to send campaign messages
From Time to Time we send emails Utilizing our live chat. We think that it’s a fantastic way to retarget our audience because we should be able to send relevant content according to some metrics those live chats provide. To be honest, we are not sending many mails, because we also hate spam on our side. So we want to send certain emails to particular target groups and : we really enjoy the implementation in the Crisp client. It’s simple and satisfied our needs at a sensible price tag.
Number of agents
The agent chairs is kinda Interesting, it’s something you can control. You could choose 1 account for the whole team (which can be cheap with the majority of solutions), or you could go for one seat for each team member. Since we want to get that personal approach to our customers the notion of using one accounts for the whole group was dropped immediately. We have begun to compare the first paid plan contrary to most of the high tier plans to see how the price scales again. The highest prices we discovered were about ~$155/m per chair where the range was somewhere from $15/m to this. We had a peek at Crisp again and saw their greatest bundle has unlimited agents chairs included. Additionally, their free plan permitted 2 representatives, which was great for testing. Add Website
Everybody loves integrations. Integrations to Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats offer integrations into the key channels. We don’t really use integrations that much, but the one we use the maximum is with Slack. Slack is the main communication tool in our company, we use it on a daily basis and added most of our resources already – so we focused on how they work and perform together with Slack. We tested some of them and most are actually working quite well. We found one that has enormous delays when messaging from and to Slack which was a no-go for all of us. We reported that issue to them, but we do not know whether they changed it since we left six months ago. With Crisp the integration worked instantly, notifications arrived immediately and the whole set-up was done in a few minutes.
“Crisp is the simplest way To communicate with your customers. From sales to client service, Crisp is made to maintain your workflow simple. From live chat to email, Crisp provides one station to answer to your users using a very simple team inbox where you are able to handle all your user inquiries.”
From our experience, Crisp really Ships with all the attention on such chat experience for your clients. That is exactly what we were searching for as we evaluated other alternatives.
This one is tricky. If you read The past few things you noticed that we compared the lower tier plans and feature with the maximum tier programs, some are economical at the start and become costly as you use them. After using Crisp for six months today, and changed from a competitor because of the expensive”ending” and those attribute we didn’t need but might need to pay for. We’re glad to say we think we got the very best match for us, perhaps it will fit as well for you. We found the listing of 8 aspects above is all you want to locate your own best fit.
We made contact with unbelievable Fantastic people (thank You!) And businesses all around the world. We could have had exactly the same experience with other live chats as well, but the price tag combined with the feature set Crisp does provide, we’d and already do recommend it to all of clients who are searching for a live chat . We’ve updated to the Crisp endless plan some time ago, and are glad we made that choice.
