Why choose Crisp? Adobe Muse Sites
In this article I’ll cover our Experience with Crisp, why we changed, and the way you can make the right decision for your business and startup as well. You may understand how to compare live talks and that metrics might be important for you also. Adobe Muse Sites
How was that selection made?
Looking at the market leaders With live chat feature on the market, we found Crisp through Producthunt. After we’ve made a Spreadsheet with numerous live chat vendors, we identified that the core attribute and metrics we were searching for.
What did we use previously?
We’ve Used multiple other live chat earlier, which shifted their attention from a live conversation to an”all in one business suite”. Their live chat still works, but metrics which are important for us were removed. We have used those metrics for our yearly reports, and client overviews, growth rates and much more. After we had been in for four months those metrics vanished and were replaced with other metrics. We’ve got a leaderboard for our staff members, which we didn’t use because we are searching for quality service rather than quantity as well as the pricing seems to outperform the benefit. So our decision was clear at the moment: we had to proceed.
We found 14 days history, 30 days History and history (for greater plans this is common), here the price scaling was interesting. All live talks we tried had this feature, some at higher price tags, others together with a poorly implemented search feature, therefore the background wasn’t available. Together with Crisp, the unlimited history is currently available with their original paid program, and it not only ships with a fair price tag, but also their search works astoundingly well.
How many contacts do we want?
First, we attempted to answer that Question with another question”how many clients will talk with us?” – and that was incorrect – we made that mistake already once. We can not limit on the connections we make because we actually want to earn contact with all of them. Endless contacts was what we were looking for (in a reasonable price label ). What we found were chats with 100 active contacts for $0/month which was quite pleasant, we climbed up that a bit to 1,000 active contacts and the price tag switched from $0/m to ~$125/m or more (~$500/m). We have had that experience of price scaling for most of the solutions. As we did the same contact metric evaluation for Crisp we watched something different:
So at Crisp, you do not scale by usage – that is huge! They believe the identical way we do in Storyblok, we do not wish to restrict the consumer to the usage of the machine (eg. Content entries or entries ), we want to scale because their staff scales. So at Crisp you select a plan and you may scale the numbers from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or much more ) with the exact same price tag.
Trigger events / messages
Automated triggers are Utilized to Send a specific message on predefined events, eg. “a visitor is on the same site for over 30 seconds”. Those triggers are a good way to help your viewers with queries they may have. We use it on our pricing page because from time to time there are open questions about our pricing, possibly something is not covered in the FAQ section. This part is available in all options we tested and mainly available in the very first paid plan.
Ability to send campaign emails
From Time to Time we send mails Utilizing our live chat. We think that it’s a good way to retarget our audience because we should have the ability to send pertinent content based on some metrics people live chats offer. In all honesty, we are not sending many mails, because we hate spam on our side. Therefore we want to send specific mails to specific target groups and : we really like the implementation in the Crisp client. It’s simple and fulfilled our needs at a reasonable price tag.
Amount of brokers
The agent chairs is kinda Interesting, it’s something you can control. You could choose 1 account for the whole group (which is cheap with most solutions), or you could go for one chair for every team member. Since we like to have that personal approach to our clients the notion of using one account for the whole team was dropped immediately. We’ve started to compare the very first paid plan contrary to most of the high tier plans to observe the way the price scales . The highest costs we discovered were approximately ~$155/m per chair where the scope was somewhere from $15/m to that. We had a peek at Crisp again and found that their highest package has unlimited agents seats included. Also, their free plan allowed 2 agents, which was great for testing. Adobe Muse Sites
Everybody loves integrations. Integrations into Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats offer integrations into the main stations. We do not actually use integrations that much, but the one we use the maximum is using Slack. Slack is the principal communication tool in our business, we utilize it on a daily basis and added the majority of our resources – so we focused on how they work and function together with Slack. We tested some of them and most are actually working quite well. We found one which has enormous delays when messaging from and also to Slack that was a no-go for all of us. We reported that difficulty to these, but we do not know if they changed it because we left six months ago. Together with Crisp the integration worked immediately, notifications arrived immediately and the entire set-up was completed in a few minutes.
“Crisp is the simplest way To speak with your clients. From sales to client service, Crisp is made to keep your workflow easy. From live chat to email, Crisp offers one channel to reply to your users employing a very simple team inbox where you are able to manage all your user inquiries.”
From our experience, Crisp actually Ships with all the attention on such chat experience for the clients. Which is exactly what we were looking for since we evaluated other solutions.
This one is tricky. If you read The last few things you saw that we contrasted the lower tier plans and attribute with the highest tier plans, some are economical at the beginning and become costly as you use them. After using Crisp for six months today, and changed from a competitor because of the pricey”ending” and those feature we didn’t need but might need to cover. We’re glad to say that we think we have the best fit for us, maybe it will fit as nicely for you. We found that the listing of 8 aspects above is all you want to locate your best match.
We made contact with unbelievable great people (thank You!) And businesses all around the globe. We might have had the exact same experience with other live chats as well, but the price tag combined with the attribute set Crisp does offer, we’d and already do recommend it to all customers who are searching for a live discussion themselves. We’ve upgraded to the Crisp unlimited plan some time ago, and are thankful that we made that choice. If you have a question or wish to inform us about your experience with Crisp and other live discussions, don’t hesitate to drop us a comment below or send a tweet or talk to us with Crisp!
