Why choose Crisp? Att Live Chat
In this article I’ll cover our Experience with Crisp, the reason we changed, and the way it is possible to make the right choice for your business and startup as well. You may know how to compare live chats and which metrics might be significant for you also. Att Live Chat
How was that choice made?
Looking at the market leaders With live chat feature on the market, we also found Crisp via Producthunt. After we’ve created a Spreadsheet with numerous live chat sellers, we identified that the core attribute and metrics we were searching for.
What did we use previously?
We’ve Used multiple other live chat before, which somehow shifted their attention from a live chat to a”all in 1 business suite”. Their live chat still functions, but metrics which are important for us were removed. We have used those metrics for our monthly reports, and client overviews, growth rates and more. After we were in for four weeks those metrics vanished and were replaced by other metrics. We’ve got a leaderboard for our team members, which we didn’t use because we’re searching for quality support rather than quantity and the pricing seems to outperform the benefit. So our choice was apparent at the moment: we had to move on.
We found 14 times history, 30 days History and unlimited history (for higher plans this is common), also here the cost scaling was intriguing. All live talks we attempted had that attribute, a few at higher price tagsothers together with a poorly implemented search feature, and so the history was not accessible. With Crisp, the boundless history is currently available with their first paid program, and it not only ships with a reasonable price tag, but also their hunt works astoundingly well.
How many contacts do we want?
We attempted to answer that Question with another question”how many customers will chat with us?” – and that was incorrect – we made that mistake once. We can not limit on the connections we make because we actually wish to earn contact with them all. Endless contacts was exactly what we were searching for (in an affordable price label ). What we found were discussions with 100 active contacts for $0/month that was quite nice, we scaled up that a little to 1,000 active contacts along with the price tag shifted from $0/m to ~$125/m or even more (~$500/m). We’ve had that experience of price scaling for the majority of the solutions. As we did the Exact Same contact metric evaluation for Crisp we saw something different:
So at Crisp, you don’t scale by use – that is enormous! They think the same way we do at Storyblokwe do not want to restrict the consumer to the usage of the machine (eg. Content entries or contacts), we would like to scale as their staff scales. So at Crisp you select a plan and you can scale the amounts from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or much more ) with the exact same price tag.
Trigger events / messages
Automated triggers are used to Send a particular message on predefined events, eg. “a visitor is on precisely the exact same site for over 30 seconds”. Those triggers are a good way to help your viewers with questions they may have. We use it on our pricing page because from time to time there are open questions regarding our pricing, possibly something is not covered in the FAQ section. This part is available in most solutions we analyzed and mainly available in the first paid program.
Possibility to send campaign emails
From Time to Time we send mails Using our live chat. We think that it’s a fantastic way to retarget our viewers because we ought to be able to send relevant content according to some metrics those live talks offer. To be honest, we’re not sending many emails, because we also hate spam on our side. So we want to send certain mails to specific target groups and : we really enjoy the execution in the Crisp client. It’s straightforward and fulfilled our needs at a reasonable price tag.
Amount of brokers
The broker seats is rather Interesting, it is something that you can control. You could choose 1 account for the whole team (which can be cheap with the majority of options ), or you might go for one seat for every team member. Since we want to get this personal approach to our clients the notion of using one accounts for the whole team was dropped immediately. We have begun to compare the very first paid plan contrary to most of the high tier programs to observe how the cost scales again. The greatest prices we found were about ~$155/m per chair where the range was somewhere from $15/m to that. We had a peek at Crisp again and found that their highest package has unlimited agents seats included. Also, their free strategy allowed 2 agents, which was excellent for analyzing. Att Live Chat
Everybody loves integrations. Integrations into Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats provide integrations to the key channels. We don’t really use integrations that much, but the one we use the most is with Slack. Slack is the principal communication tool in our business, we use it on a daily basis and included the majority of our tools – so we focused on how they work and function together with Slack. We analyzed some of these and many are actually working quite well. We found one which has enormous delays when messaging from and to Slack which was a no-go for all of us. We reported that difficulty to them, but we don’t know if they changed it because we left six months ago. With Crisp the integration worked immediately, notifications came immediately and the whole setup was done in a couple of minutes.
What is Crisp?
“Crisp is the simplest way To speak with your clients. From sales to customer service, Crisp is made to keep your workflow easy. From live chat to email, Crisp provides one station to answer to your users using a very simple team inbox where you are able to handle all of your user queries.”

This one is tricky. If you browse The past few points you noticed that we compared the lower tier programs and feature together with the highest tier programs, some are cheap at the beginning and become expensive as you use them. After using Crisp for six months today, and changed from a competition because of the expensive”ending” and those feature we did not need but might need to pay for. We are pleased to state that we think we have the very best match for us, maybe it will fit as well for you. We found that the list of 8 aspects above is all you need to find your best fit.
We made contact with unbelievable Fantastic people (thank You!) And companies all over the globe. We could have had exactly the same experience with other live chats too, but the price combined with the feature set Crisp does provide, we’d and already do recommend it to all customers that are looking for a live discussion themselves.
