Why Select Crisp? Best Live Chat Support
In this article I’ll cover our Experience with Crisp, why we changed, and how you can make the perfect choice for your company and startup too. You will understand how to compare live chats and which metrics might be important for you too. Best Live Chat Support
How was that selection made?
Taking a Look at the market leaders With live chat feature out there, we found Crisp through Producthunt. After we have created a Spreadsheet with multiple live chat vendors, we identified that the core feature and metrics we were searching for.
What did we use before?
We have Used multiple other live chat before, which shifted their attention from a live conversation to a”all in one company suite”. Their live chat still works, but metrics that are significant for us were eliminated. We have used those metrics for our monthly reports, and customer overviews, growth rates and much more. After we had been in for four months those metrics disappeared and were replaced with other metrics. We’ve obtained a leaderboard for our team members, which we didn’t use because we’re searching for quality support rather than quantity as well as the pricing seems to outperform the benefit. Our choice was clear at the moment: we needed to proceed.
We found 14 days background, 30 days History and history (for greater plans this is common), here the cost scaling was intriguing. All live chats we attempted had this attribute, a few at higher price tagsothers combined with a badly implemented search feature, and so the background was not accessible. Together with Crisp, the boundless history is currently available with their first paid program, and it not only ships with a fair price tag, but also their search works exceptionally well.
How many contacts do we want?
First, we tried to answer that Question with another question”how many clients will chat with us?” – and that has been wrong – we made that mistake already once. We can’t limit on the connections we make because we really wish to make contact with all of them. Unlimited contacts was exactly what we were looking for (at an affordable price tag). What we found were discussions with 100 active contacts for $0/month that was quite pleasant, we scaled up that a little to 1,000 active contacts and the price tag shifted from $0/m to ~$125/m or more (~$500/m). We’ve had that experience of cost scaling for the majority of the solutions. As we did the same contact metric evaluation for Crisp we saw something different:
So at Crisp, you do not scale by use – that is huge! They think the same way we do at Storyblokwe do not want to restrict the consumer to the usage of this machine (eg. Content entries or entries ), we want to scale as their team scales. So at Crisp you choose a plan and you can scale the amounts from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or much more ) with exactly the same price tag.
Trigger events / communications
Automated triggers are used to Send a particular message on predefined events, eg. “a visitor is on the exact same site for over 30 seconds”. Those triggers are a fantastic way to help your viewers with questions they could have. We use it on our pricing page because from time to time there are open questions about our pricing, possibly something isn’t covered in the FAQ section. This part is available in most solutions we tested and mainly available in the first paid program.
Ability to send campaign emails
From Time to Time we send emails Utilizing our live chat. We think it’s a fantastic way to retarget our viewers because we should be able to send relevant content according to some metrics those live talks provide. In all honesty, we’re not sending many emails, because we hate spam on the side. Therefore we like to send certain emails to particular target groups and : we really like the execution in the Crisp customer. It is straightforward and satisfied our needs at a sensible price tag.
Amount of brokers
The agent seats is rather Intriguing, it is something you can control. You could choose one account for the entire group (which is cheap with most options ), or you might go for a single chair for each team member. Since we like to have this personal approach to our clients the idea of using one accounts for the entire team was dropped immediately. We have begun to compare the first paid plan against the majority of the high tier plans to see how the price scales . The greatest prices we found were approximately ~$155/m per seat where the range was somewhere from $15/m to this. We had a peek at Crisp again and found that their highest bundle has unlimited agents chairs included. Also, their free strategy permitted 2 agents, which was great for testing. Everybody loves integrations. Integrations to Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats offer integrations into the key channels. We don’t really use integrations that much, but the one we use the maximum is with Slack. Slack is the principal communication tool in our business, we use it on a daily basis and added the majority of our tools already – so we focused on how they work and perform together with Slack. We analyzed some of these and most are actually working quite well. We found one which has huge delays when messaging from and to Slack that was a no-go for all of us. We reported that difficulty to them, but we do not know whether they changed it because we left six months ago. With Crisp the integration worked instantly, notifications arrived immediately and the entire set-up was done in a couple of minutes.
“Crisp is the simplest way To communicate with your customers. From sales to customer service, Crisp is made to keep your workflow simple. From live chat to email, Crisp offers one station to reply to your users using a simple team inbox where you can handle all your user inquiries.”
From our experience, Crisp really Ships with the focus on that chat experience for your clients. Which is precisely what we were searching for as we evaluated other alternatives.
This one is tricky. If you browse The last few points you noticed that we compared the lower grade plans and feature together with the maximum tier plans, some are cheap at the start and become expensive as you use them. After using Crisp for six months now, and switched from a competitor because of that expensive”end” and those feature we did not need but would have to cover. We are pleased to say we believe we got the best match for us, maybe it will fit as well for you. We found the list of 8 facets above is all you need to locate your own best match.
We made contact with incredible great people (thank You!) And companies all over the world. We might have had exactly the exact same experience with other live chats as well, but the price combined with the feature set Crisp does offer, we would and already do recommend it to all clients who are looking for a live discussion themselves. We have updated to the Crisp unlimited plan a while ago, and are glad we made that decision.
