Why choose Crisp? Best Web Chat Client
In this article I’ll cover our Experience with Crisp, the reason we changed, and the way it is possible to make the right choice for your company and startup as well. You will know how to compare live chats and which metrics might be important for you also. Best Web Chat Client
How was that selection made?
Looking at the market leaders With live chat feature on the market, we also found Crisp through Producthunt. After we’ve made a Spreadsheet with multiple live chat vendors, we identified that the core attribute and metrics we were searching for.
What did we use previously?
We have Used multiple other live chat earlier, which shifted their attention from a live chat to an”all in one business suite”. Their live chat still functions, but metrics which are important for us were eliminated. We have used those metrics for our yearly reports, and customer overviews, growth rates and much more. After we had been in for four weeks those metrics vanished and were replaced with other metrics. We’ve got a leaderboard for our staff members, which we did not use because we’re looking for quality support rather than quantity and the pricing appears to outperform the advantage. So our choice was clear at that moment: we needed to move on.
We found 14 days history, 30 days History and history (for higher plans this is common), also here the price scaling was intriguing. All live chats we attempted had that attribute, some at higher price tagsothers combined with a poorly implemented search feature, and so the history wasn’t available. Together with Crisp, the unlimited history is already available with their original paid program, and it not only ships with a fair price tag, but also their hunt works exceptionally well.
How many connections do we want?
First, we tried to answer that Question with another question”how many customers will chat with us” – and that has been incorrect – we made that mistake already once. We can not restrict on the connections we create because we really want to earn contact with them all. Endless contacts was what we were looking for (at an affordable price label ). What we discovered were discussions with 100 active contacts for $0/month which was quite nice, we scaled that up a little to 1,000 active contacts and the price tag switched from $0/m to ~$125/m or more (~$500/m). We have had that experience of price scaling for the majority of the solutions. As we did exactly the Exact Same contact metric test for Crisp we watched something different:
So at Crisp, you do not scale by use – which is enormous! They think the identical way we do at Storyblok, we don’t wish to limit the user to the usage of the machine (eg. Content entries or contacts), we would like to scale as their team scales. So at Crisp you select a program and you can scale the numbers from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or much more ) with the same price tag.
Trigger events / messages
Automated triggers are used to Send a particular message on predefined events, eg. “a guest is on precisely the same site for over 30 seconds”. Those triggers are a good way to help your audience with queries they could have. We use it on our pricing page since from time to time there are open questions about our pricing, possibly something isn’t covered in the FAQ section. This part can be found in most options we analyzed and mainly available in the first paid program.
Possibility to send campaign messages
From time to time we send emails Utilizing our live chat. We think that it’s a good way to retarget our viewers because we should be able to send pertinent content according to some metrics those live talks offer. In all honesty, we are not sending many mails, because we hate spam on our side. So we like to send specific mails to specific target groups and again: we really enjoy the execution in the Crisp client. It’s straightforward and fulfilled our needs at a reasonable price tag.
Amount of brokers
The agent seats is kinda Intriguing, it’s something that you can control. You could choose one account for the entire group (which is cheap with the majority of options ), or you might go for one seat for each team member. Since we want to have this personal approach to our clients the notion of using one accounts for the whole team was dropped immediately. We’ve begun to compare the first paid program contrary to most of the high tier plans to see how the cost scales . The highest costs we discovered were approximately ~$155/m per chair where the scope was somewhere from $15/m to that. We had a look at Crisp again and found that their highest package has unlimited agents seats included. Also, their free plan permitted 2 representatives, which was excellent for analyzing. Everybody enjoys integrations. Integrations into Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats offer integrations into the main stations. We don’t really use integrations that much, but the one we use the maximum is using Slack. Slack is the principal communication tool in our company, we utilize it on a daily basis and included the majority of our resources already – so we concentrated on how they operate and function with Slack. We tested some of them and most are actually working very well. We found one that has huge delays when messaging from and also to Slack which was a no-go for all of us. We reported that issue to these, but we do not know if they changed it because we left six months ago. Together with Crisp the integration worked instantly, notifications came immediately and the entire setup was completed in a couple of minutes.
What is Crisp?
“Crisp is the simplest way To speak with your clients. From sales to customer support, Crisp is designed to maintain your workflow simple. From live chat to email, Crisp offers a single channel to reply to your users using a very simple team inbox where you can handle all your user queries.”
From our experience, Crisp actually Ships with all the focus on that chat experience for your clients. That is precisely what we were looking for as we evaluated other solutions.
This one is tricky. If you read The last few things you saw that we contrasted the lower grade plans and feature with the maximum tier programs, some are cheap at the beginning and be costly as you use them. After using Crisp for six months today, and switched from a competition because of the pricey”end” and those feature we didn’t need but might need to cover. We are glad to say we think we have the best fit for us, maybe it will fit as nicely for you. We saw the listing of 8 facets above is all you want to locate your best fit.
We made contact with unbelievable great people (thank You!) And businesses all over the world. We could have had the exact same experience with other live discussions as well, but the price combined with the attribute set Crisp does offer, we’d and already do recommend it to all clients that are looking for a live chat themselves. We have upgraded to the Crisp endless plan some time ago, and are glad we made that choice.
