Why Select Crisp? Call My Contacts
In this article I’ll cover our Expertise with Crisp, the reason we switched, and the way you can make the right choice for your company and startup too. You will know how to compare live chats and which metrics could be significant for you too. Call My Contacts
How was that decision made?
Taking a Look at the market leaders With live chat feature out there, we also found Crisp via Producthunt. After we have created a Spreadsheet with numerous live chat vendors, we identified that the core attribute and metrics we were looking for.
What did we use previously?
We have Used multiple other live chat earlier, which somehow shifted their focus from a live chat to a”all in 1 business suite”. Their live chat still functions, but metrics that are significant for us were eliminated. We’ve used those metrics for our yearly reports, and customer overviews, growth rates and much more. After we had been in for four weeks those metrics disappeared and were replaced with other metrics. We have obtained a leaderboard for our staff members, which we did not use because we are searching for quality support rather than quantity and the pricing seems to outperform the benefit. So our choice was clear at that moment: we needed to move on.
We found 14 days background, 30 days History and unlimited history (for higher plans that this is common), also here the price scaling was interesting. All live chats we tried had that feature, some at higher price tagsothers together with a badly executed search feature, and so the background was not accessible. Together with Crisp, the unlimited history is already available with their original paid program, and it not only ships with a reasonable price tag, but also their hunt works exceptionally well.
How many connections do we need?
First, we tried to answer that Question with another question”how many customers will talk with us” – and that was incorrect – we made that mistake already once. We can’t restrict on the connections we make because we actually wish to earn contact with them all. Endless contacts was what we were looking for (in a reasonable price tag). What we discovered were discussions with 100 active contacts for $0/month that was quite nice, we climbed that up a little to 1,000 active contacts along with the price tag shifted from $0/m to ~$125/m or even more (~$500/m). We have had that experience of price scaling for the majority of the solutions. As we did exactly the same contact metric test for Crisp we saw something different:
So at Crisp, you do not scale by use – which is enormous! They think the identical way we do at Storyblok, we do not wish to restrict the user to the use of this machine (eg. Content entrances or entries ), we would like to scale because their team scales. So at Crisp you choose a program and you can scale the amounts from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or much more ) with exactly the same price tag.
Trigger events / messages
Automated triggers are used to Send a specific message on predefined events, eg. “a guest is on the exact same site for over 30 seconds”. Those triggers are a good method to help your viewers with queries they could have. We use it on our pricing page since from time to time there are open questions regarding our pricing, maybe something isn’t covered in the FAQ section. This part can be found in all solutions we tested and largely available in the first paid program.
Possibility to send campaign messages
From time to time we send emails Using our live chat. We think that it’s a fantastic way to retarget our audience because we should have the ability to send pertinent content based on some metrics those live chats offer. To be honest, we are not sending many mails, because we hate spam on the side. So we like to send specific mails to specific target groups and again: we really enjoy the execution in the Crisp client. It is simple and satisfied our needs at a sensible price tag.
Amount of brokers
The broker chairs is kinda Interesting, it’s something that you can control. You could choose one account for the whole group (which is cheap with the majority of solutions), or you might go for a single seat for each team member. Since we want to get this personal approach to our clients the notion of using one accounts for the whole group was dropped instantly. We’ve started to compare the first paid plan contrary to the majority of the high tier plans to observe the way the price scales again. The highest costs we found were approximately ~$155/m per seat where the scope was somewhere from $15/m to this. We had a peek at Crisp again and saw that their greatest package has unlimited agents seats included. Additionally, their free plan allowed 2 agents, which was excellent for testing. Call My Contacts
Everybody loves integrations. Integrations to Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats offer integrations to the main stations. We don’t really utilize integrations that much, but the one we use the most is using Slack. Slack is the main communication tool in our business, we utilize it on a daily basis and included most of our resources already – so we focused on how they work and perform with Slack. We tested some of these and many are actually working quite well. We found one which has huge delays when messaging from and to Slack which was a no-go for all of us. We reported that issue to them, but we don’t know if they changed it because we left six months ago. Together with Crisp the integration worked instantly, notifications arrived immediately and the whole set-up was completed in a couple of minutes.
What is Crisp?
“Crisp is the simplest way To speak with your clients. From sales to customer support, Crisp is designed to keep your workflow easy. From live chat to email, Crisp provides one channel to reply to your users employing a very simple team inbox where you can manage all your user queries.”
From our experience, Crisp really Ships with the focus on such chat experience for the clients. Which is exactly what we were searching for since we evaluated other alternatives.
This one is tricky. If you browse The past few points you noticed that we compared the lower grade programs and attribute with the maximum tier programs, some are economical at the start and become costly as you use them. After using Crisp for six months now, and changed from a competitor because of that expensive”ending” and those attribute we did not need but might need to cover. We’re pleased to say that we believe we have the very best match for us, perhaps it will fit as well for you. We found that the listing of 8 facets above is all you need to find your best fit.
We made contact with incredible great people (thank You!) And businesses all around the world. We could have had the same experience with other live chats too, but the price combined with the attribute set Crisp does offer, we would and already do recommend it to all clients that are searching for a live chat themselves. We have upgraded to the Crisp endless plan a while ago, and are thankful that we made that decision.
