Why choose Crisp? Chat Application
In this article I’ll cover our Expertise with Crisp, why we changed, and the way you can make the right decision for your business and startup as well. You will know how to compare live talks and that metrics might be important for you too. Chat Application
How was that decision made?
Looking at the market leaders With live chat feature out there, we also found Crisp through Producthunt. After we’ve created a Spreadsheet with numerous live chat sellers, we defined the core feature and metrics we were searching for.
What did we use before?
We’ve Used multiple other live chat earlier, which shifted their focus from a live chat to an”all in one business suite”. Their live chat still works, but metrics that are important for us were removed. We’ve used those metrics for our yearly reports, and customer overviews, growth rates and much more. After we had been in for four months those metrics disappeared and were replaced by other metrics. We have got a leaderboard for our staff members, which we did not use because we are looking for quality service rather than quantity and the pricing seems to outperform the benefit. So our decision was clear at the moment: we had to move on.
We found 14 days background, 30 days History and unlimited history (for greater plans this is common), here the price scaling was intriguing. All live chats we tried had that feature, some at higher price tagsothers combined with a badly executed search feature, therefore the history wasn’t available. With Crisp, the boundless history is already available with their first paid plan, and it not only ships with a reasonable price tag, also their search works exceptionally well.
How many connections do we need?
We attempted to answer that Question with another question”how many clients will chat with us” – and that has been incorrect – we made that mistake already once. We can’t restrict on the connections we create because we actually want to earn contact with them all. Endless contacts was exactly what we were looking for (at an affordable price label ). What we discovered were discussions with 100 active contacts for $0/month which was quite nice, we scaled that up a little to 1,000 active contacts along with the price tag shifted from $0/m to ~$125/m or even more (~$500/m). We’ve had that experience of price scaling for most of the solutions. As we did the Exact Same contact metric evaluation for Crisp we watched something different:
So at Crisp, you don’t scale by use – which is enormous! They believe the same way we do in Storyblok, we don’t want to restrict the user to the use of this machine (eg. Content entrances or contacts), we want to scale as their staff scales. So at Crisp you choose a plan and you can scale the numbers from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or more) with exactly the exact same price tag.
Trigger events / messages
Automated triggers are used to Send a particular message on predefined events, eg. “a visitor is on the same site for over 30 seconds”. Those triggers are a good way to help your audience with queries they could have. We use it on our pricing page since from time to time there are open questions about our pricing, possibly something isn’t covered in the FAQ section. This part can be found in most options we tested and largely available in the first paid program.
Possibility to send campaign messages
From time to time we send emails Utilizing our live chat. We think that it’s a good way to retarget our viewers because we should be able to send pertinent content based on some metrics those live talks offer. In all honesty, we are not sending many emails, because we also hate spam on the side. Therefore we want to send certain emails to specific target groups and : we really like the execution in the Crisp customer. It’s simple and fulfilled our needs at a sensible price tag.
Number of agents
The agent seats is rather Intriguing, it’s something you can control. You could choose one account for the whole group (which is cheap with most solutions), or you could go for a single seat for each team member. Since we like to have this personal approach to our clients the notion of using one account for the entire team was dropped instantly. We have begun to compare the first paid plan against the majority of the high tier plans to observe how the cost scales . The highest prices we discovered were about ~$155/m per seat where the scope was somewhere from $15/m to that. We had a look at Crisp again and found their highest package has unlimited agents chairs included. Additionally, their free plan permitted 2 representatives, which was great for testing. Everybody enjoys integrations. Integrations to Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats provide integrations to the key channels. We do not really utilize integrations that much, but the one we use the most is with Slack. Slack is the principal communication tool in our company, we utilize it on a daily basis and added the majority of our tools already – so we concentrated on how they work and function together with Slack. We tested some of these and many are actually working quite well. We found one which has huge delays when messaging from and also to Slack which was a no-go for us. We reported that difficulty to them, but we do not know whether they changed it since we left six months ago. Together with Crisp the integration worked instantly, notifications arrived immediately and the entire set-up was done in a couple of minutes.
“Crisp is the simplest way To communicate with your clients. From sales to customer service, Crisp is made to maintain your workflow easy. From our experience, Crisp really Ships with all the attention on such chat experience for the clients. That is exactly what we were searching for as we evaluated other solutions.
This one is tricky. If you browse The past few things you noticed that we contrasted the lower tier plans and feature together with the highest tier programs, some are economical at the start and be expensive as you use them. After using Crisp for six months today, and changed from a competition because of the expensive”ending” and those attribute we didn’t need but would have to pay for. We’re pleased to say that we think we have the best match for us, perhaps it will fit as nicely for you. We found the listing of 8 aspects above is all you need to find your own best match.
We made contact with incredible Fantastic people (thank You!) And businesses all over the world. We might have had the same experience with other live chats as well, but the price tag combined with the attribute set Crisp does offer, we’d and do recommend it to all of customers who are searching for a live discussion themselves. We have upgraded to the Crisp endless plan some time ago, and are glad we made that decision.
