Why choose Crisp? Chat Room Crisp
In this article I’ll cover our Expertise with Crisp, why we changed, and how you can make the right decision for your company and startup as well. You will understand how to compare live talks and that metrics might be significant for you too. Chat Room Crisp
How was that decision made?
Looking at the market leaders With live chat feature on the market, we also found Crisp through Producthunt. After we have made a Spreadsheet with numerous live chat vendors, we defined the core attribute and metrics we were looking for.
What did we use previously?
We have Used multiple other live chat earlier, which somehow shifted their focus from a live chat to an”all in one company suite”. Their live chat still works, but metrics that are important for us were removed. We have used those metrics for our yearly reports, and client overviews, growth rates and more. After we were in for four months those metrics vanished and were replaced with other metrics. We’ve obtained a leaderboard for our team members, which we didn’t use because we are searching for quality service and not quantity as well as the pricing seems to outperform the advantage. So our choice was clear at the moment: we had to proceed.
We found 14 times background, 30 days History and history (for higher plans this is common), also here the price scaling was interesting. All live chats we tried had that feature, a few at higher price tagsothers combined with a badly implemented search feature, therefore the history was not accessible. With Crisp, the unlimited history is currently available with their original paid plan, and it not only ships with a fair price tag, also their search works exceptionally well.
How many connections do we want?
We attempted to answer that Question with another question”how many clients will talk with us?” – and that was incorrect – we made that mistake already once. We can’t restrict on the contacts we make because we actually want to earn contact with all of them. Unlimited contacts was what we were looking for (at a reasonable price label ). What we found were chats with 100 active contacts for $0/month that was quite pleasant, we climbed that up a little to 1,000 active contacts along with the price tag switched from $0/m to ~$125/m or even more (~$500/m). We’ve had that experience of price scaling for the majority of the solutions. As we did exactly the same contact metric evaluation for Crisp we watched something different:
So at Crisp, you do not scale by usage – which is enormous! They believe the same way we do at Storyblok, we do not want to limit the user to the use of this machine (eg. Content entrances or contacts), we want to scale because their staff scales. So at Crisp you select a plan and you can scale the numbers from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or much more ) with the exact same price tag.
Trigger events / messages
Automated triggers are used to Send a specific message on predefined events, eg. “a guest is on the exact same site for more than 30 seconds”. Those triggers are a fantastic method to help your audience with questions they may have. We use it on our pricing page because from time to time there are open questions regarding our pricing, possibly something is not covered in the FAQ section. This part is available in most options we tested and largely available in the very first paid plan.
Ability to send campaign messages
From Time to Time we send emails Using our live chat. We think that it’s a good way to retarget our audience because we ought to be able to send pertinent content according to some metrics those live chats provide. To be honest, we’re not sending many emails, because we also hate spam on the side. Therefore we like to send certain mails to specific target groups and again: we really enjoy the implementation in the Crisp customer. It is simple and satisfied our needs at a reasonable price tag.
Number of brokers
The broker chairs is kinda Intriguing, it is something you can control. You could choose one account for the whole group (which is cheap with the majority of solutions), or you might go for one seat for each team member. Since we like to have that personal approach to our clients the idea of using one accounts for the entire team was dropped instantly. We’ve started to compare the first paid program against most of the high tier programs to observe how the price scales . The greatest costs we discovered were approximately ~$155/m per seat where the scope was somewhere from $15/m to this. We had a peek at Crisp again and saw that their highest package has unlimited agents seats included. Also, their free plan allowed 2 agents, which was excellent for testing. Chat Room Crisp
Everybody loves integrations. Integrations into Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats provide integrations into the key channels. We do not actually utilize integrations that much, but the one we use the most is using Slack. Slack is the principal communication tool in our business, we utilize it on a daily basis and added most of our tools – so we concentrated on how they work and function with Slack. We tested some of them and many are actually working very well. We found one that has enormous delays when messaging from and to Slack that was a no-go for all of us. We reported that issue to them, but we don’t know if they changed it because we left six months ago. Together with Crisp the integration worked instantly, notifications arrived immediately and the entire set-up was done in a few minutes.
“Crisp is the simplest way To communicate with your customers. From sales to customer support, Crisp is designed to maintain your workflow easy. From live chat to email, Crisp offers a single station to answer to your users using a very simple team inbox where you can manage all of your user inquiries.”
From our experience, Crisp really Ships with the focus on such chat experience for your customers. That is exactly what we were looking for since we evaluated other alternatives.
This one is tricky. If you browse The past few things you saw that we compared the lower grade plans and attribute with the highest tier plans, some are cheap at the start and become expensive as you use them. After using Crisp for six months now, and switched from a competition because of the pricey”ending” and those attribute we did not need but would need to pay for. We are glad to state we think we got the very best fit for us, perhaps it will fit as nicely for you. We found that the listing of 8 facets above is all you want to locate your own best fit.
We made contact with unbelievable great people (thank You!) And businesses all over the globe. We might have had exactly the same experience with other live chats too, but the price combined with the attribute set Crisp does provide, we’d and do recommend it to all of clients who are searching for a live chat . We have updated to the Crisp endless plan some time ago, and are thankful that we made that decision.
