Why choose Crisp? Chat Script
In this article I’ll cover our Experience with Crisp, the reason we switched, and the way you can make the perfect decision for your company and startup too. You may know how to compare live chats and which metrics could be important for you also. Chat Script
How was that selection made?
Taking a Look at the market leaders With live chat feature on the market, we also found Crisp via Producthunt. After we have created a Spreadsheet with numerous live chat sellers, we identified that the core feature and metrics we were looking for.
What did we use before?
We have Used multiple other live chat earlier, which somehow shifted their attention from a live conversation to an”all in 1 company suite”. Their live chat still works, but metrics which are significant for us were eliminated. We’ve used those metrics for our monthly reports, and client overviews, growth rates and much more. After we were in for four months those metrics vanished and were replaced with other metrics. We’ve got a leaderboard for our team members, which we did not use because we are searching for quality service rather than quantity as well as the pricing appears to outperform the benefit. Our decision was apparent at that moment: we needed to move on.
We found 14 times background, 30 days History and unlimited history (for higher plans this is common), here the cost scaling was interesting. All live chats we attempted had that attribute, a few at higher price tagsothers combined with a badly executed search feature, and so the background was not accessible. With Crisp, the unlimited history is currently available with their first paid program, and it not only ships with a fair price tag, but also their hunt works exceptionally well.
How many contacts do we want?
We attempted to answer that Question with another question”how many clients will talk with us?” – and that has been incorrect – we made that mistake already once. We can’t restrict on the contacts we create because we really wish to earn contact with all of them. Endless contacts was what we were searching for (in an affordable price label ). What we discovered were chats with 100 active contacts for $0/month that was quite nice, we scaled that up a bit to 1,000 active contacts along with the price tag shifted from $0/m to ~$125/m or even more (~$500/m). We’ve had that experience of cost scaling for most of the solutions. As we did the Exact Same contact metric test for Crisp we saw something different:
So at Crisp, you do not scale by use – that is huge! They believe the identical way we do in Storyblokwe don’t want to restrict the consumer to the use of this system (eg. Content entrances or contacts), we want to scale because their staff scales. So at Crisp you select a plan and you may scale the amounts from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or much more ) with the same price tag.
Trigger events / communications
Automated triggers are used to Send a particular message on predefined events, eg. “a visitor is on precisely the same website for more than 30 seconds”. Those causes are a good method to help your audience with queries they may have. We use it on our pricing page because from time to time there are open questions about our pricing, possibly something isn’t covered in the FAQ section. This part is available in most solutions we tested and largely available in the very first paid plan.
Possibility to send campaign messages
From time to time we send mails Utilizing our live chat. We think that it’s a fantastic way to retarget our audience because we should have the ability to send relevant content according to some metrics people live talks provide. To be honest, we are not sending many emails, because we also hate spam on our side. So we like to send specific emails to particular target groups and again: we really enjoy the implementation in the Crisp client. It’s straightforward and satisfied our needs at a reasonable price tag.
Amount of agents
The broker chairs is rather Interesting, it’s something you can control. You could choose 1 account for the whole group (which can be cheap with the majority of options ), or you might go for one seat for each team member. Since we like to get this personal approach to our clients the idea of using one accounts for the whole team was dropped instantly. We’ve begun to compare the first paid plan contrary to the majority of the high tier programs to see how the price scales again. The highest prices we discovered were about ~$155/m per chair where the range was somewhere from $15/m to that. We had a look at Crisp again and found their highest bundle has unlimited agents chairs included. Also, their free plan permitted 2 representatives, which was great for analyzing. Chat Script
Everybody enjoys integrations. Integrations into Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats provide integrations to the main stations. We do not really utilize integrations that much, but the one we use the most is using Slack. Slack is the principal communication tool in our business, we utilize it on a daily basis and added the majority of our tools – so we focused on how they operate and perform with Slack. We tested some of them and many are actually working quite well. We found one which has enormous delays when messaging from and to Slack that was a no-go for us. We reported that issue to these, but we don’t know whether they changed it because we left six months ago. Together with Crisp the integration worked instantly, notifications came immediately and the entire set-up was done in a few minutes.
“Crisp is the simplest way To communicate with your clients. From sales to customer support, Crisp is made to maintain your workflow simple. From live chat to email, Crisp offers one station to answer to your users employing a very simple team inbox where you can manage all your user queries.”
From our experience, Crisp really Ships with the focus on that chat experience for your customers. Which is precisely what we were searching for as we evaluated other solutions.
This one is tricky. If you browse The past few points you noticed that we compared the lower grade programs and feature together with the maximum tier plans, some are cheap at the beginning and become costly as you use them. After using Crisp for six months now, and changed from a competition because of that pricey”ending” and those attribute we did not need but would have to pay for. We’re glad to say that we believe we got the very best fit for us, maybe it will fit as well for you. We saw that the listing of 8 facets above is all you need to find your own best match.
We made contact with incredible great people (thank You!) And businesses all around the world. We could have had the same experience with other live discussions too, but the price tag combined with the attribute set Crisp does provide, we’d and do recommend it to all customers that are looking for a live chat themselves. We have upgraded to the Crisp endless plan some time ago, and are glad we made that decision. In case you have a query or want to tell us about your experience using Crisp along with other live discussions, don’t hesitate to drop us a comment below or send us a tweet or talk to us with Crisp!
