Why Select Crisp? Chat Service
In this article I’ll cover our Experience with Crisp, the reason we switched, and how you can make the right choice for your business and startup as well. You may know how to compare live chats and which metrics could be significant for you also. Chat Service
How was that selection made?
Taking a Look at the market leaders With live chat feature on the market, we found Crisp through Producthunt. After we’ve made a Spreadsheet with multiple live chat vendors, we identified that the core attribute and metrics we were searching for.
What did we use before?
We have Used multiple other live chat earlier, which shifted their focus from a live chat to a”all in one company suite”. Their live chat still functions, but metrics which are significant for us were eliminated. We have used those metrics for our yearly reports, and client overviews, growth rates and much more. After we were in for four weeks those metrics vanished and were replaced by other metrics. We’ve obtained a leaderboard for our staff members, which we didn’t use because we are searching for quality support rather than quantity as well as the pricing appears to outperform the benefit. So our choice was clear at that moment: we needed to proceed.
We found 14 days history, 30 days History and unlimited history (for greater plans that this is common), also here the cost scaling was intriguing. All live talks we tried had this feature, a few at higher price tags, others together with a badly implemented search feature, therefore the background wasn’t available. With Crisp, the boundless history is already available with their first paid plan, and it not only ships with a reasonable price tag, also their hunt works exceptionally well.
How many contacts do we want?
First, we tried to answer that Question with another question”how many clients will talk with us” – and that has been wrong – we made that mistake already once. We can not restrict on the contacts we create because we really want to earn contact with all of them. Unlimited contacts was what we were looking for (at a reasonable price tag). What we discovered were discussions with 100 active contacts for $0/month which was quite pleasant, we scaled up that a bit to 1,000 active contacts along with the price tag shifted from $0/m to ~$125/m or more (~$500/m). We have had that experience of price scaling for the majority of the solutions. As we did the same contact metric test for Crisp we watched something different:
So at Crisp, you do not scale by usage – that is huge! They believe the identical way we do in Storyblokwe do not want to limit the user to the use of this system (eg. Content entries or contacts), we would like to scale as their team scales. So at Crisp you select a plan and you can scale the amounts from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or more) with the same price tag.
Trigger events / communications
Automated triggers are Utilized to Send a specific message on predefined events, eg. “a visitor is on the same website for over 30 seconds”. Those causes are a fantastic way to help your audience with queries they could have. We use it on our pricing page because from time to time there are open questions regarding our pricing, maybe something is not covered in the FAQ section. This component is available in most solutions we tested and mainly available in the very first paid program.
Possibility to send campaign messages
From time to time we send emails Utilizing our live chat. We think that it’s a fantastic way to retarget our viewers because we ought to have the ability to send pertinent content based on some metrics those live chats offer. To be honest, we are not sending many emails, because we hate spam on our side. So we want to send certain mails to specific target groups and : we really like the implementation in the Crisp client. It is simple and fulfilled our needs at a sensible price tag.
Amount of brokers
The broker seats is rather Intriguing, it’s something you can control. You could choose one account for the entire team (which can be cheap with most options ), or you could go for a single seat for each team member. Since we want to have this personal approach to our clients the notion of using one account for the entire team was dropped instantly. We have begun to compare the first paid program contrary to most of the high tier programs to see how the cost scales . The greatest prices we found were approximately ~$155/m per chair where the range was somewhere from $15/m to this. We had a look at Crisp again and saw their greatest bundle has unlimited agents seats included. Additionally, their free strategy allowed 2 agents, which was excellent for testing. Chat Service
Everybody loves integrations. Integrations into Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats offer integrations to the main stations. We don’t really utilize integrations that much, but the one we use the most is using Slack. Slack is the main communication tool in our company, we use it on a daily basis and added most of our resources already – so we concentrated on how they work and perform with Slack. We tested some of them and many are actually working quite well. We found one which has huge delays when messaging from and to Slack that was a no-go for all of us. We reported that difficulty to them, but we don’t know whether they changed it since we left six months ago. With Crisp the integration worked instantly, notifications arrived immediately and the whole set-up was completed in a few minutes.
“Crisp is the simplest way To speak with your clients. From sales to customer service, Crisp is made to keep your workflow simple. From live chat to email, Crisp provides a single station to reply to your users employing a simple team inbox where you are able to manage all of your user queries.”
From our experience, Crisp actually Ships with all the attention on that chat experience for the clients. That is precisely what we were looking for as we evaluated other alternatives.
This one is tricky. If you browse The past few points you noticed that we compared the lower tier plans and feature with the maximum tier plans, some are cheap at the beginning and be costly as you use them. After using Crisp for six months today, and switched from a competition because of that expensive”end” and those feature we didn’t need but would need to pay for. We are glad to say we believe we got the best match for us, perhaps it will fit as nicely for you. We found the listing of 8 facets above is all you want to locate your best match.
We made contact with unbelievable great people (thank You!) And businesses all over the world. We could have had the same experience with other live discussions too, but the price tag combined with the attribute set Crisp does provide, we would and already do recommend it to all clients who are searching for a live discussion . We have updated to the Crisp endless plan a while ago, and are glad that we made that choice.
