Why choose Crisp? Chat Service Provider
In this article I’ll cover our Experience with Crisp, the reason we changed, and the way it is possible to make the perfect choice for your company and startup as well. You may understand how to compare live chats and which metrics might be important for you too. Chat Service Provider
How was that choice made?
Looking at the market leaders With live chat feature on the market, we found Crisp via Producthunt. After we have created a Spreadsheet with multiple live chat sellers, we identified that the core attribute and metrics we were searching for.
What did we use before?
We’ve Used multiple other live chat before, which somehow shifted their attention from a live conversation to a”all in 1 business suite”. Their live chat still works, but metrics which are significant for us were removed. We’ve used those metrics for our yearly reports, and client overviews, growth rates and much more. After we had been in for four months those metrics vanished and were replaced with other metrics. We have got a leaderboard for our team members, which we did not use because we’re searching for quality support rather than quantity as well as the pricing appears to outperform the advantage. Our decision was clear at the moment: we needed to proceed.
We found 14 times history, 30 days History and history (for higher plans that this is common), also here the price scaling was intriguing. All live talks we tried had this attribute, a few at higher price tagsothers combined with a poorly executed search feature, and so the background was not available. With Crisp, the boundless history is currently available with their first paid plan, and it not only ships with a fair price tag, but also their hunt works astoundingly well.
How many connections do we need?
We attempted to answer that Question with another question”how many clients will talk with us?” – and that was wrong – we made that mistake once. We can’t limit on the connections we create because we actually wish to make contact with them all. Endless contacts was what we were searching for (in an affordable price tag). What we found were discussions with 100 active contacts for $0/month that was quite nice, we scaled that up a little to 1,000 active contacts and the price tag shifted from $0/m to ~$125/m or more (~$500/m). We have had that experience of cost scaling for the majority of the solutions. As we did exactly the same contact metric test for Crisp we saw something different:
So at Crisp, you do not scale by use – which is huge! They think the same way we do in Storyblok, we don’t want to restrict the consumer to the use of the system (eg. Content entrances or entries ), we want to scale as their team scales. So at Crisp you choose a plan and you can scale the amounts from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or much more ) with exactly the exact same price tag.
Trigger events / messages
Automated triggers are used to Send a specific message on predefined events, eg. “a guest is on precisely the same website for more than 30 seconds”. Those triggers are a fantastic way to help your viewers with questions they may have. We use it on our pricing page since from time to time there are open questions about our pricing, maybe something isn’t covered in the FAQ section. This component is available in most options we analyzed and largely available in the first paid plan.
Ability to send campaign emails
From Time to Time we send emails Using our live chat. We think it’s a fantastic way to retarget our viewers because we ought to have the ability to send pertinent content based on some metrics people live chats offer. In all honesty, we are not sending many mails, because we hate spam on our side. Therefore we want to send certain emails to specific target groups and again: we really like the execution in the Crisp client. It’s simple and satisfied our needs at a reasonable price tag.
Number of brokers
The broker seats is kinda Interesting, it is something you can control. You could choose one account for the whole group (which can be cheap with the majority of options ), or you could go for a single chair for each team member. Since we like to get that personal approach to our clients the idea of using one account for the whole group was dropped instantly. We’ve started to compare the very first paid plan against most of the high tier programs to see how the price scales again. The highest prices we found were approximately ~$155/m per seat where the scope was somewhere from $15/m to this. We had a peek at Crisp again and saw that their highest bundle has unlimited agents seats included. Also, their free plan allowed 2 representatives, which was excellent for testing. Everybody enjoys integrations. Integrations to Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats provide integrations into the key channels. We do not really use integrations that much, but the one we use the maximum is with Slack. Slack is the principal communication tool in our company, we use it on a daily basis and added the majority of our resources already – so we focused on how they work and perform together with Slack. We tested some of them and many are actually working very well. We found one that has huge delays when messaging from and also to Slack that was a no-go for us. We reported that difficulty to these, but we do not know whether they changed it because we left six months ago. With Crisp the integration worked immediately, notifications arrived immediately and the whole setup was completed in a few minutes.
“Crisp is the simplest way To speak with your clients. From sales to client support, Crisp is designed to keep your workflow easy. From live chat to email, Crisp provides one station to reply to your users employing a very simple team inbox where you can manage all your user queries.”
From our experience, Crisp really Ships with the focus on that chat experience for the clients. That is exactly what we were looking for since we evaluated other solutions.
This one is tricky. If you browse The past few points you saw that we contrasted the lower grade programs and attribute together with the highest tier programs, some are cheap at the start and become expensive as you use them. After using Crisp for six months now, and switched from a competition because of the pricey”end” and those attribute we didn’t need but would have to pay for. We are pleased to say that we think we have the very best fit for us, perhaps it will fit as well for you. We found the list of 8 facets above is all you want to find your best match.
We made contact with unbelievable great people (thank You!) And companies all over the globe. We might have had the exact same experience with other live chats as well, but the price tag combined with the feature set Crisp does offer, we would and do recommend it to all of customers who are searching for a live chat . We’ve upgraded to the Crisp endless plan some time ago, and are glad that we made that choice.
