Why choose Crisp? Chat Software Business
In this article I’ll cover our Experience with Crisp, the reason we switched, and how you can make the perfect decision for your company and startup too. You will know how to compare live talks and that metrics could be important for you also. Chat Software Business
How was that choice made?
Taking a Look at the market leaders With live chat feature out there, we found Crisp via Producthunt. After we have made a Spreadsheet with numerous live chat vendors, we identified that the core feature and metrics we were searching for.
What did we use before?
We have Used several other live chat before, which somehow shifted their attention from a live chat to a”all in 1 company suite”. Their live chat still works, but metrics that are significant for us were removed. We have used those metrics for our yearly reports, and client overviews, growth rates and much more. After we were in for four months those metrics vanished and were replaced with other metrics. We’ve got a leaderboard for our team members, which we did not use because we’re searching for quality service rather than quantity and the pricing seems to outperform the benefit. So our decision was apparent at that moment: we had to proceed.
We found 14 times history, 30 days History and unlimited history (for greater plans that this is common), also here the cost scaling was interesting. All live chats we attempted had that attribute, a few at higher price tags, others together with a poorly implemented search feature, and so the background wasn’t available. With Crisp, the unlimited history is already available with their original paid plan, and it not only ships with a reasonable price tag, but also their hunt works astoundingly well.
How many contacts do we want?
First, we attempted to answer that Question with another question”how many clients will talk with us?” – and that has been incorrect – we made that mistake once. We can not restrict on the contacts we make because we really wish to earn contact with them all. Unlimited contacts was what we were looking for (at a reasonable price tag). What we discovered were discussions with 100 active contacts for $0/month that was quite pleasant, we scaled that up a bit to 1,000 active contacts along with the price tag switched from $0/m to ~$125/m or more (~$500/m). We have had that experience of cost scaling for most of the solutions. As we did the Exact Same contact metric test for Crisp we saw something different:
So at Crisp, you don’t scale by usage – which is enormous! They believe the identical way we do in Storyblok, we don’t want to limit the consumer to the usage of this machine (eg. Content entrances or entries ), we would like to scale because their team scales. So at Crisp you select a program and you may scale the amounts from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or more) with the exact same price tag.
Trigger events / communications
Automated triggers are used to Send a specific message on predefined events, eg. “a visitor is on the same website for more than 30 seconds”. Those triggers are a fantastic way to help your audience with questions they may have. We use it on our pricing page because from time to time there are open questions about our pricing, maybe something is not covered in the FAQ section. This component can be found in all solutions we analyzed and mainly available in the first paid plan.
Possibility to send campaign messages
From time to time we send emails Using our live chat. We think that it’s a fantastic way to retarget our viewers because we ought to be able to send pertinent content based on some metrics people live chats provide. In all honesty, we are not sending many emails, because we also hate spam on our side. Therefore we want to send certain mails to particular target groups and : we really like the implementation in the Crisp client. It is simple and fulfilled our needs at a sensible price tag.
Amount of agents
The agent seats is rather Intriguing, it’s something that you can control. You could choose 1 account for the whole group (which is cheap with most solutions), or you might go for a single seat for every team member. Since we want to have that personal approach to our customers the notion of using one account for the whole group was dropped immediately. We’ve started to compare the very first paid plan contrary to the majority of the high tier plans to observe how the price scales again. The highest costs we discovered were about ~$155/m per seat where the range was somewhere from $15/m to that. We had a peek at Crisp again and saw their greatest bundle has unlimited agents seats included. Additionally, their free plan permitted 2 representatives, which was great for testing. Everybody enjoys integrations. Integrations to Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats offer integrations to the main stations. We don’t really use integrations that much, but the one we use the most is using Slack. Slack is the principal communication tool in our company, we use it on a daily basis and included the majority of our resources already – so we concentrated on how they operate and perform with Slack. We analyzed some of these and many are actually working very well. We found one which has huge delays when messaging from and also to Slack which was a no-go for us. We reported that difficulty to them, but we don’t know whether they changed it because we left six months ago. With Crisp the integration worked immediately, notifications came immediately and the entire set-up was done in a few minutes.
“Crisp is the simplest way To speak with your clients. From sales to customer support, Crisp is designed to keep your workflow easy. From live chat to email, Crisp provides a single channel to answer to your users using a very simple team inbox where you are able to manage all of your user inquiries.”
From our experience, Crisp actually Ships with the focus on such chat experience for the customers. Which is precisely what we were looking for since we evaluated other alternatives.
This one is tricky. If you read The last few points you noticed that we contrasted the lower grade programs and feature with the highest tier plans, some are cheap at the start and become costly as you use them. After using Crisp for six months now, and switched from a competitor because of that expensive”ending” and those attribute we didn’t need but might need to cover. We’re pleased to state that we believe we got the very best fit for us, maybe it will fit as nicely for you. We found that the list of 8 facets above is all you need to find your best match.
We made contact with incredible great people (thank You!) And businesses all around the globe. We could have had exactly the exact same experience with other live discussions as well, but the price tag combined with the attribute set Crisp does offer, we’d and already do recommend it to all clients who are looking for a live chat . We’ve upgraded to the Crisp unlimited plan some time ago, and are glad we made that choice.
