Why Select Crisp? Chat Software
In this article I’ll cover our Experience with Crisp, the reason we switched, and how you can make the right choice for your company and startup as well. You will know how to compare live talks and that metrics might be important for you too. Chat Software
How was that decision made?
Taking a Look at the market leaders With live chat feature out there, we also found Crisp via Producthunt. After we have made a Spreadsheet with multiple live chat sellers, we identified that the core attribute and metrics we were looking for.
What did we use previously?
We’ve Used multiple other live chat earlier, which somehow shifted their attention from a live chat to a”all in 1 business suite”. Their live chat still functions, but metrics that are important for us were removed. We’ve used those metrics for our yearly reports, and customer overviews, growth rates and more. After we were in for four months those metrics vanished and were replaced by other metrics. We have got a leaderboard for our staff members, which we did not use because we’re searching for quality support rather than quantity as well as the pricing seems to outperform the benefit. So our decision was apparent at that moment: we had to proceed.
We found 14 days history, 30 days History and unlimited history (for greater plans this is common), here the price scaling was interesting. All live chats we tried had that attribute, some at higher price tags, others together with a badly executed search feature, therefore the background wasn’t accessible. With Crisp, the unlimited history is already available with their original paid program, and it not only ships with a fair price tag, but also their hunt works exceptionally well.
How many contacts do we want?
We tried to answer that Question with another question”how many customers will chat with us?” – and that has been incorrect – we made that mistake already once. We can not restrict on the connections we make because we actually wish to make contact with them all. Endless contacts was what we were looking for (at an affordable price tag). What we found were chats with 100 active contacts for $0/month that was quite nice, we climbed that up a bit to 1,000 active contacts and the price tag shifted from $0/m to ~$125/m or more (~$500/m). We have had that experience of cost scaling for the majority of the solutions. As we did the same contact metric test for Crisp we watched something different:
So at Crisp, you don’t scale by usage – that is enormous! They think the identical way we do at Storyblok, we do not want to limit the user to the use of the system (eg. Content entrances or contacts), we want to scale as their staff scales. So at Crisp you choose a program and you may scale the amounts from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or much more ) with exactly the exact same price tag.
Trigger events / communications
Automated triggers are used to Send a specific message on predefined events, eg. “a visitor is on the exact same site for more than 30 seconds”. Those causes are a fantastic way to help your audience with queries they could have. We use it on our pricing page because from time to time there are open questions regarding our pricing, possibly something isn’t covered in the FAQ section. This component is available in all solutions we tested and largely available in the very first paid plan.
Possibility to send campaign messages
From time to time we send emails Utilizing our live chat. We think that it’s a good way to retarget our viewers because we should be able to send relevant content according to some metrics those live chats provide. To be honest, we’re not sending many mails, because we hate spam on the side. Therefore we like to send certain mails to specific target groups and : we really like the implementation in the Crisp customer. It is simple and satisfied our needs at a sensible price tag.
Number of agents
The broker seats is rather Intriguing, it is something you can control. You could choose one account for the whole group (which can be cheap with the majority of solutions), or you could go for a single seat for each team member. Since we like to have this personal approach to our customers the notion of using one accounts for the entire team was dropped instantly. We have begun to compare the first paid program contrary to the majority of the high tier programs to observe how the cost scales again. The greatest prices we found were about ~$155/m per seat where the range was somewhere from $15/m to that. We had a peek at Crisp again and saw that their greatest package has unlimited agents seats included. Additionally, their free strategy permitted 2 agents, which was excellent for testing. Everybody loves integrations. Integrations into Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats provide integrations to the main channels. We don’t actually utilize integrations that much, but the one we use the maximum is using Slack. Slack is the principal communication tool in our business, we use it on a daily basis and included the majority of our resources – so we focused on how they work and function together with Slack. We tested some of them and many are actually working quite well. We found one which has enormous delays when messaging from and to Slack that was a no-go for all of us. We reported that difficulty to them, but we do not know if they changed it since we left six months ago. With Crisp the integration worked immediately, notifications arrived immediately and the whole setup was completed in a couple of minutes.
“Crisp is the simplest way To speak with your clients. From sales to customer service, Crisp is designed to maintain your workflow easy. From live chat to email, Crisp offers one station to reply to your users employing a simple team inbox where you are able to handle all of your user inquiries.”
From our experience, Crisp actually Ships with the focus on such chat experience for the clients. Which is precisely what we were searching for since we evaluated other alternatives.
This one is tricky. If you browse The last few things you saw that we contrasted the lower tier plans and feature together with the highest tier plans, some are cheap at the beginning and be costly as you use them. After using Crisp for six months today, and changed from a competition because of the expensive”end” and those feature we didn’t need but would need to cover. We are pleased to state we believe we got the very best fit for us, perhaps it will fit as well for you. We found that the list of 8 aspects above is all you need to find your best fit.
We made contact with incredible Fantastic people (thank You!) And companies all around the world. We might have had exactly the exact same experience with other live chats too, but the price tag combined with the feature set Crisp does provide, we would and already do recommend it to all of customers who are looking for a live chat themselves. We have updated to the Crisp endless plan some time ago, and are thankful we made that choice.
