Why choose Crisp? Chat Subscription
In this article I’ll cover our Experience with Crisp, the reason we switched, and how you can make the perfect decision for your business and startup too. You may know how to compare live chats and which metrics could be significant for you too. Chat Subscription
How was that choice made?
Taking a Look at the market leaders With live chat feature on the market, we found Crisp via Producthunt. After we’ve created a Spreadsheet with multiple live chat vendors, we defined the core feature and metrics we were looking for.
What did we use previously?
We’ve Used multiple other live chat earlier, which shifted their attention from a live chat to a”all in 1 business suite”. Their live chat still functions, but metrics which are significant for us were eliminated. We have used those metrics for our monthly reports, and client overviews, growth rates and much more. After we were in for four weeks those metrics disappeared and were replaced with other metrics. We have obtained a leaderboard for our staff members, which we did not use because we’re searching for quality support and not quantity and the pricing appears to outperform the benefit. Our choice was clear at that moment: we had to move on.
We found 14 times history, 30 days History and history (for greater plans that this is common), also here the cost scaling was intriguing. All live chats we tried had this feature, some at higher price tagsothers combined with a poorly executed search feature, and so the history wasn’t available. With Crisp, the boundless history is currently available with their first paid program, and it not only ships with a fair price tag, also their hunt works exceptionally well.
How many contacts do we need?
First, we tried to answer that Question with another question”how many clients will talk with us” – and that has been wrong – we made that mistake once. We can not restrict on the connections we create because we really wish to earn contact with them all. Unlimited contacts was exactly what we were looking for (at a reasonable price tag). What we found were chats with 100 active contacts for $0/month which was quite nice, we climbed that up a little to 1,000 active contacts along with the price tag switched from $0/m to ~$125/m or more (~$500/m). We’ve had that experience of cost scaling for the majority of the solutions. As we did the same contact metric test for Crisp we saw something different:
So at Crisp, you do not scale by usage – which is huge! They think the same way we do in Storyblok, we don’t want to restrict the user to the use of this system (eg. Content entries or entries ), we would like to scale as their staff scales. So at Crisp you select a program and you may scale the numbers from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or much more ) with the exact same price tag.
Trigger events / messages
Automated triggers are used to Send a specific message on predefined events, eg. “a guest is on the same site for over 30 seconds”. Those triggers are a good way to help your viewers with questions they could have. We use it on our pricing page since from time to time there are open questions regarding our pricing, maybe something is not covered in the FAQ section. This component can be found in all options we tested and largely available in the first paid plan.
Ability to send campaign messages
From Time to Time we send emails Utilizing our live chat. We think it’s a fantastic way to retarget our viewers because we ought to have the ability to send relevant content according to some metrics people live talks offer. In all honesty, we’re not sending many mails, because we also hate spam on our side. So we want to send specific mails to particular target groups and again: we really enjoy the execution in the Crisp customer. It’s simple and satisfied our needs at a reasonable price tag.
Amount of agents
The agent chairs is rather Intriguing, it’s something that you can control. You could choose one account for the entire team (which is cheap with the majority of solutions), or you could go for one seat for every team member. Since we want to get that personal approach to our clients the idea of using one accounts for the entire team was dropped instantly. We’ve begun to compare the first paid program against most of the high tier plans to see how the cost scales . The greatest prices we found were approximately ~$155/m per chair where the scope was somewhere from $15/m to this. We had a peek at Crisp again and found their greatest bundle has unlimited agents chairs included. Additionally, their free strategy allowed 2 agents, which was excellent for testing. Everybody loves integrations. Integrations to Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats offer integrations to the key stations. We don’t actually utilize integrations that much, but the one we use the maximum is using Slack. Slack is the principal communication tool in our business, we utilize it on a daily basis and included most of our tools already – so we concentrated on how they work and function together with Slack. We analyzed some of them and many are actually working quite well. We found one that has huge delays when messaging from and to Slack that was a no-go for us. We reported that issue to these, but we don’t know whether they changed it because we left six months ago. Together with Crisp the integration worked immediately, notifications came immediately and the entire set-up was completed in a couple of minutes.
What is Crisp?
“Crisp is the simplest way To communicate with your clients. From sales to customer support, Crisp is made to keep your workflow easy. From live chat to email, Crisp offers one channel to reply to your users employing a simple team inbox where you are able to manage all of your user queries.”
From our experience, Crisp actually Ships with all the attention on such chat experience for your customers. That is exactly what we were searching for since we evaluated other alternatives.
This one is tricky. If you read The last few points you noticed that we contrasted the lower grade programs and feature with the highest tier programs, some are economical at the start and become expensive as you use them. After using Crisp for six months now, and changed from a competitor because of that expensive”end” and those attribute we didn’t need but might need to cover. We are pleased to state we think we have the very best match for us, perhaps it will fit as nicely for you. We found the list of 8 aspects above is all you want to find your own best fit.
We made contact with unbelievable great people (thank You!) And companies all over the world. We might have had exactly the exact same experience with other live discussions as well, but the price tag combined with the attribute set Crisp does offer, we’d and already do recommend it to all of customers who are searching for a live chat . We’ve upgraded to the Crisp unlimited plan a while ago, and are glad we made that choice.
