Why choose Crisp? Chat Support Apps
In this article I’ll cover our Expertise with Crisp, the reason we changed, and how you can make the perfect decision for your company and startup too. You may understand how to compare live chats and which metrics could be significant for you also. Chat Support Apps
How was that selection made?
Taking a Look at the market leaders With live chat feature on the market, we also found Crisp through Producthunt. After we’ve made a Spreadsheet with multiple live chat sellers, we defined the core feature and metrics we were looking for.
What did we use previously?
We have Used several other live chat before, which somehow shifted their focus from a live conversation to an”all in one company suite”. Their live chat still functions, but metrics which are important for us were eliminated. We’ve used those metrics for our yearly reports, and client overviews, growth rates and much more. After we were in for four months those metrics vanished and were replaced with other metrics. We have obtained a leaderboard for our team members, which we did not use because we’re looking for quality support rather than quantity as well as the pricing seems to outperform the benefit. Our choice was clear at that moment: we needed to proceed.
We found 14 times history, 30 days History and unlimited history (for greater plans that this is common), also here the cost scaling was interesting. All live chats we tried had this attribute, some at higher price tagsothers combined with a badly implemented search feature, therefore the background wasn’t available. With Crisp, the unlimited history is currently available with their first paid program, and it not only ships with a reasonable price tag, but also their search works astoundingly well.
How many contacts do we need?
We attempted to answer that Question with another question”how many customers will chat with us?” – and that was wrong – we made that mistake already once. We can’t restrict on the contacts we make because we really wish to make contact with all of them. Unlimited contacts was what we were searching for (in a reasonable price label ). What we found were discussions with 100 active contacts for $0/month which was quite pleasant, we climbed that up a little to 1,000 active contacts along with the price tag switched from $0/m to ~$125/m or more (~$500/m). We’ve had that experience of price scaling for most of the solutions. As we did the Exact Same contact metric test for Crisp we watched something different:
So at Crisp, you don’t scale by usage – that is huge! They think the identical way we do in Storyblok, we do not wish to restrict the user to the use of this system (eg. Content entrances or contacts), we want to scale as their team scales. So at Crisp you select a plan and you can scale the numbers from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or more) with exactly the exact same price tag.
Trigger events / communications
Automated triggers are Utilized to Send a specific message on predefined events, eg. “a visitor is on precisely the exact same website for over 30 seconds”. Those triggers are a fantastic method to help your viewers with queries they may have. We use it on our pricing page since from time to time there are open questions about our pricing, maybe something isn’t covered in the FAQ section. This part can be found in most options we analyzed and mainly available in the first paid program.
Ability to send campaign emails
From Time to Time we send emails Utilizing our live chat. We think it’s a good way to retarget our audience because we should be able to send pertinent content according to some metrics people live talks offer. In all honesty, we are not sending many emails, because we hate spam on our side. So we like to send specific emails to particular target groups and again: we really enjoy the implementation in the Crisp customer. It is simple and satisfied our needs at a reasonable price tag.
Number of agents
The broker chairs is rather Interesting, it’s something that you can control. You could choose one account for the entire team (which can be cheap with the majority of solutions), or you might go for a single chair for each team member. Since we want to have this personal approach to our clients the idea of using one accounts for the whole team was dropped immediately. We’ve begun to compare the first paid plan against most of the high tier programs to observe how the cost scales again. The highest costs we discovered were approximately ~$155/m per chair where the range was somewhere from $15/m to this. We had a look at Crisp again and found their highest package has unlimited agents seats included. Also, their free plan permitted 2 agents, which was great for analyzing. Chat Support Apps
Everybody loves integrations. Integrations to Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats provide integrations into the key channels. We don’t actually utilize integrations that much, but the one we use the most is with Slack. Slack is the principal communication tool in our business, we use it on a daily basis and included most of our tools – so we concentrated on how they operate and function together with Slack. We tested some of these and many are actually working very well. We found one that has enormous delays when messaging from and to Slack which was a no-go for us. We reported that issue to them, but we do not know whether they changed it since we left six months ago. Together with Crisp the integration worked immediately, notifications arrived immediately and the whole set-up was completed in a couple of minutes.
What is Crisp?
“Crisp is the simplest way To speak with your customers. From sales to customer service, Crisp is made to maintain your workflow simple. From live chat to email, Crisp offers a single station to answer to your users employing a simple team inbox where you can handle all your user queries.”
From our experience, Crisp really Ships with all the focus on such chat experience for the customers. Which is exactly what we were looking for since we evaluated other solutions.
This one is tricky. If you read The last few things you saw that we compared the lower grade plans and attribute with the maximum tier plans, some are cheap at the start and become expensive as you use them. After using Crisp for six months today, and switched from a competitor because of the pricey”end” and those attribute we did not need but would have to cover. We’re glad to say we think we got the very best match for us, perhaps it will fit as nicely for you. We saw that the listing of 8 facets above is all you need to locate your best fit.
We made contact with unbelievable Fantastic people (thank You!) And businesses all around the world. We might have had the exact same experience with other live chats as well, but the price combined with the feature set Crisp does provide, we’d and do recommend it to all customers who are looking for a live discussion themselves. We’ve updated to the Crisp endless plan some time ago, and are glad we made that decision.
