Why choose Crisp? Chat Support Tools
In this article I’ll cover our Expertise with Crisp, why we changed, and the way it is possible to make the perfect decision for your company and startup too. You may understand how to compare live talks and that metrics might be important for you also. Chat Support Tools
How was that selection made?
Taking a Look at the market leaders With live chat feature out there, we also found Crisp via Producthunt. After we’ve made a Spreadsheet with multiple live chat vendors, we identified that the core feature and metrics we were looking for.
What did we use previously?
We’ve Used several other live chat before, which somehow shifted their focus from a live chat to an”all in 1 business suite”. Their live chat still works, but metrics that are significant for us were eliminated. We have used those metrics for our yearly reports, and customer overviews, growth rates and more. After we had been in for four months those metrics vanished and were replaced by other metrics. We’ve obtained a leaderboard for our staff members, which we didn’t use because we’re looking for quality service rather than quantity and the pricing seems to outperform the benefit. So our choice was apparent at that moment: we had to proceed.
We found 14 times background, 30 days History and unlimited history (for higher plans this is common), also here the price scaling was intriguing. All live talks we attempted had that attribute, some at higher price tags, others combined with a poorly executed search feature, and so the background wasn’t accessible. Together with Crisp, the boundless history is currently available with their first paid program, and it not only ships with a fair price tag, also their hunt works exceptionally well.
How many contacts do we want?
First, we attempted to answer that Question with another question”how many customers will chat with us” – and that has been wrong – we made that mistake already once. We can not limit on the contacts we create because we really wish to earn contact with them all. Endless contacts was exactly what we were searching for (at a reasonable price label ). What we found were discussions with 100 active contacts for $0/month which was quite pleasant, we climbed up that a bit to 1,000 active contacts and the price tag switched from $0/m to ~$125/m or more (~$500/m). We have had that experience of price scaling for most of the solutions. As we did the Exact Same contact metric test for Crisp we saw something different:
So at Crisp, you don’t scale by use – which is huge! They think the same way we do at Storyblokwe don’t want to restrict the consumer to the use of the machine (eg. Content entries or contacts), we want to scale as their staff scales. So at Crisp you select a program and you can scale the amounts from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or more) with the exact same price tag.
Trigger events / communications
Automated triggers are Utilized to Send a particular message on predefined events, eg. “a guest is on the exact same website for more than 30 seconds”. Those triggers are a good method to help your audience with questions they could have. We use it on our pricing page because from time to time there are open questions about our pricing, possibly something isn’t covered in the FAQ section. This component can be found in most options we tested and largely available in the very first paid program.
Ability to send campaign messages
From time to time we send emails Utilizing our live chat. We think that it’s a good way to retarget our viewers because we should have the ability to send relevant content based on some metrics those live talks provide. In all honesty, we’re not sending many mails, because we also hate spam on the side. Therefore we want to send specific emails to specific target groups and again: we really like the execution in the Crisp customer. It is straightforward and fulfilled our needs at a reasonable price tag.
Number of agents
The agent seats is rather Interesting, it’s something you can control. You could choose one account for the whole team (which can be cheap with the majority of solutions), or you might go for a single chair for each team member. Since we like to have that personal approach to our clients the idea of using one accounts for the entire group was dropped immediately. We have begun to compare the very first paid program contrary to most of the high tier plans to observe the way the cost scales again. The highest prices we discovered were about ~$155/m per seat where the scope was somewhere from $15/m to that. We had a look at Crisp again and found their greatest package has unlimited agents chairs included. Also, their free strategy allowed 2 representatives, which was excellent for analyzing. Chat Support Tools
Everybody enjoys integrations. Integrations into Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats provide integrations to the key stations. We don’t actually use integrations that much, but the one we use the most is with Slack. Slack is the main communication tool in our business, we use it on a daily basis and included the majority of our resources already – so we concentrated on how they work and perform together with Slack. We analyzed some of them and most are actually working quite well. We found one that has huge delays when messaging from and to Slack which was a no-go for all of us. We reported that difficulty to these, but we don’t know whether they changed it since we left six months ago. Together with Crisp the integration worked immediately, notifications arrived immediately and the entire set-up was done in a couple of minutes.
“Crisp is the simplest way To speak with your customers. From sales to client support, Crisp is made to keep your workflow easy. From live chat to email, Crisp provides a single station to reply to your users using a very simple team inbox where you are able to manage all of your user queries.”
From our experience, Crisp really Ships with all the focus on that chat experience for your customers. Which is precisely what we were looking for as we evaluated other alternatives.
This one is tricky. If you read The last few things you noticed that we compared the lower grade plans and feature with the highest tier plans, some are cheap at the beginning and be expensive as you use them. After using Crisp for six months today, and changed from a competitor because of the expensive”ending” and those feature we didn’t need but might have to pay for. We’re pleased to state that we believe we got the best match for us, perhaps it will fit as nicely for you. We saw the list of 8 aspects above is all you need to locate your own best match.
We made contact with unbelievable Fantastic people (thank You!) And companies all around the globe. We could have had exactly the same experience with other live chats too, but the price combined with the feature set Crisp does offer, we would and already do recommend it to all of customers that are looking for a live chat themselves. We’ve updated to the Crisp endless plan some time ago, and are glad that we made that decision.
