Why Select Crisp? Crisp Chat Client
In this article I’ll cover our Experience with Crisp, why we switched, and how you can make the perfect choice for your company and startup too. You may understand how to compare live talks and that metrics could be important for you too. Crisp Chat Client
How was that decision made?
Looking at the market leaders With live chat feature out there, we found Crisp via Producthunt. After we’ve made a Spreadsheet with numerous live chat vendors, we identified that the core feature and metrics we were searching for.
What did we use previously?
We’ve Used multiple other live chat earlier, which somehow shifted their focus from a live conversation to an”all in 1 business suite”. Their live chat still works, but metrics which are significant for us were removed. We have used those metrics for our yearly reports, and client overviews, growth rates and much more. After we were in for four weeks those metrics vanished and were replaced with other metrics. We have got a leaderboard for our team members, which we did not use because we’re looking for quality service and not quantity and the pricing seems to outperform the benefit. Our decision was clear at that moment: we needed to proceed.
We found 14 days background, 30 days History and unlimited history (for greater plans this is common), also here the price scaling was intriguing. All live talks we tried had that attribute, a few at higher price tagsothers combined with a badly implemented search feature, therefore the history was not available. With Crisp, the unlimited history is currently available with their original paid program, and it not only ships with a fair price tag, but also their search works astoundingly well.
How many contacts do we need?
First, we tried to answer that Question with another question”how many clients will talk with us” – and that was incorrect – we made that mistake once. We can not limit on the connections we create because we actually wish to earn contact with all of them. Unlimited contacts was what we were looking for (at an affordable price label ). What we discovered were discussions with 100 active contacts for $0/month which was quite nice, we scaled that up a bit to 1,000 active contacts and the price tag switched from $0/m to ~$125/m or even more (~$500/m). We’ve had that experience of cost scaling for the majority of the solutions. As we did exactly the same contact metric evaluation for Crisp we watched something different:
So at Crisp, you do not scale by use – that is enormous! They believe the identical way we do at Storyblok, we don’t want to restrict the user to the usage of the machine (eg. Content entrances or contacts), we would like to scale because their team scales. So at Crisp you select a plan and you may scale the numbers from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or much more ) with the same price tag.
Trigger events / messages
Automated triggers are used to Send a particular message on predefined events, eg. “a guest is on precisely the exact same website for more than 30 seconds”. Those causes are a good way to help your viewers with queries they could have. We use it on our pricing page because from time to time there are open questions about our pricing, maybe something is not covered in the FAQ section. This part can be found in all solutions we tested and largely available in the very first paid plan.
Possibility to send campaign emails
From Time to Time we send emails Utilizing our live chat. We think it’s a good way to retarget our audience because we should have the ability to send pertinent content according to some metrics those live chats provide. To be honest, we are not sending many mails, because we also hate spam on our side. So we like to send certain mails to specific target groups and : we really like the execution in the Crisp customer. It’s simple and satisfied our needs at a sensible price tag.
Number of brokers
The broker seats is rather Interesting, it’s something that you can control. You could choose 1 account for the whole team (which can be cheap with the majority of options ), or you might go for a single seat for every team member. Since we like to have that personal approach to our customers the idea of using one account for the whole team was dropped immediately. We have started to compare the very first paid program contrary to most of the high tier programs to observe how the price scales again. The greatest costs we discovered were about ~$155/m per chair where the scope was somewhere from $15/m to this. We had a look at Crisp again and saw that their highest bundle has unlimited agents chairs included. Also, their free strategy allowed 2 agents, which was excellent for testing. Crisp Chat Client
Everybody enjoys integrations. Integrations to Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats offer integrations into the main stations. We do not actually use integrations that much, but the one we use the most is using Slack. Slack is the principal communication tool in our company, we use it on a daily basis and included the majority of our tools already – so we concentrated on how they work and perform together with Slack. We analyzed some of them and many are actually working quite well. We found one which has enormous delays when messaging from and to Slack which was a no-go for us. We reported that difficulty to these, but we do not know if they changed it because we left six months ago. With Crisp the integration worked instantly, notifications came immediately and the entire set-up was done in a few minutes.
What is Crisp?
“Crisp is the simplest way To communicate with your clients. From sales to client support, Crisp is designed to keep your workflow easy. From live chat to email, Crisp offers a single channel to reply to your users using a very simple team inbox where you can manage all your user queries.”
From our experience, Crisp really Ships with the attention on that chat experience for your customers. Which is exactly what we were searching for as we evaluated other solutions.
This one is tricky. If you read The past few points you saw that we contrasted the lower grade plans and attribute with the maximum tier plans, some are economical at the beginning and become costly as you use them. After using Crisp for six months now, and changed from a competitor because of the pricey”ending” and those feature we didn’t need but would need to pay for. We’re glad to state we believe we got the very best match for us, perhaps it will fit as well for you. We found that the listing of 8 aspects above is all you want to find your own best match.
We made contact with unbelievable great people (thank You!) And businesses all around the globe. We could have had exactly the exact same experience with other live discussions as well, but the price combined with the feature set Crisp does offer, we’d and already do recommend it to all customers who are searching for a live chat themselves. We’ve upgraded to the Crisp unlimited plan some time ago, and are glad that we made that decision.
