Why Select Crisp? Crisp Chat Competitors
In this article I’ll cover our Experience with Crisp, the reason we switched, and the way you can make the right decision for your company and startup too. You will understand how to compare live talks and that metrics could be important for you too. Crisp Chat Competitors
How was that decision made?
Taking a Look at the market leaders With live chat feature on the market, we found Crisp via Producthunt. After we’ve created a Spreadsheet with numerous live chat sellers, we identified that the core feature and metrics we were searching for.
What did we use before?
We have Used several other live chat earlier, which somehow shifted their focus from a live chat to an”all in 1 company suite”. Their live chat still functions, but metrics that are significant for us were removed. We’ve used those metrics for our yearly reports, and client overviews, growth rates and much more. After we had been in for four months those metrics disappeared and were replaced with other metrics. We’ve got a leaderboard for our team members, which we did not use because we’re searching for quality service rather than quantity as well as the pricing seems to outperform the advantage. So our choice was apparent at that moment: we needed to move on.
We found 14 days background, 30 days History and unlimited history (for higher plans this is common), also here the price scaling was intriguing. All live talks we tried had this attribute, some at higher price tags, others together with a badly implemented search feature, and so the background was not available. With Crisp, the boundless history is already available with their first paid plan, and it not only ships with a fair price tag, but also their hunt works exceptionally well.
How many contacts do we need?
First, we attempted to answer that Question with another question”how many customers will talk with us?” – and that was incorrect – we made that mistake already once. We can’t limit on the contacts we make because we really wish to earn contact with them all. Unlimited contacts was what we were looking for (in an affordable price tag). What we found were chats with 100 active contacts for $0/month that was quite pleasant, we climbed up that a bit to 1,000 active contacts along with the price tag shifted from $0/m to ~$125/m or more (~$500/m). We’ve had that experience of price scaling for most of the solutions. As we did the same contact metric test for Crisp we saw something different:
So at Crisp, you don’t scale by usage – which is enormous! They think the identical way we do at Storyblokwe don’t wish to limit the user to the use of this system (eg. Content entries or contacts), we want to scale because their team scales. So at Crisp you choose a plan and you can scale the numbers from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or much more ) with the exact same price tag.
Trigger events / messages
Automated triggers are Utilized to Send a specific message on predefined events, eg. “a guest is on the exact same site for more than 30 seconds”. Those causes are a fantastic way to help your audience with questions they may have. We use it on our pricing page because from time to time there are open questions regarding our pricing, maybe something isn’t covered in the FAQ section. This component is available in all solutions we tested and mainly available in the first paid program.
Possibility to send campaign messages
From Time to Time we send mails Utilizing our live chat. We think it’s a fantastic way to retarget our audience because we should be able to send pertinent content according to some metrics those live chats provide. In all honesty, we’re not sending many emails, because we also hate spam on the side. So we want to send certain emails to particular target groups and again: we really like the execution in the Crisp client. It’s straightforward and satisfied our needs at a reasonable price tag.
Number of agents
The agent chairs is kinda Intriguing, it’s something you can control. You could choose one accounts for the whole team (which is cheap with most options ), or you could go for a single seat for every team member. Since we want to have that personal approach to our clients the idea of using one account for the entire group was dropped immediately. We have begun to compare the first paid plan against most of the high tier plans to observe the way the cost scales . The greatest costs we discovered were approximately ~$155/m per seat where the scope was somewhere from $15/m to that. We had a peek at Crisp again and found their highest bundle has unlimited agents chairs included. Also, their free plan allowed 2 agents, which was great for testing. Crisp Chat Competitors
Everybody loves integrations. Integrations to Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats provide integrations into the key channels. We do not actually use integrations that much, but the one we use the most is using Slack. Slack is the main communication tool in our business, we utilize it on a daily basis and added the majority of our resources already – so we concentrated on how they work and perform together with Slack. We tested some of these and most are actually working quite well. We found one which has enormous delays when messaging from and to Slack which was a no-go for us. We reported that difficulty to them, but we don’t know if they changed it since we left six months ago. Together with Crisp the integration worked instantly, notifications arrived immediately and the entire setup was done in a few minutes.
What is Crisp?
“Crisp is the simplest way To communicate with your customers. From sales to client service, Crisp is made to maintain your workflow easy. From live chat to email, Crisp provides a single channel to answer to your users employing a simple team inbox where you can handle all your user queries.”
From our experience, Crisp actually Ships with all the attention on that chat experience for your clients. That is exactly what we were searching for as we evaluated other alternatives.
This one is tricky. If you browse The last few points you noticed that we contrasted the lower grade programs and feature with the maximum tier plans, some are economical at the beginning and become costly as you use them. After using Crisp for six months today, and switched from a competitor because of the expensive”ending” and those attribute we did not need but might need to pay for. We’re glad to state that we believe we have the best fit for us, maybe it will fit as well for you. We saw the listing of 8 facets above is all you want to locate your own best fit.
We made contact with incredible Fantastic people (thank You!) And companies all around the globe. We might have had the same experience with other live chats as well, but the price combined with the attribute set Crisp does provide, we would and already do recommend it to all of clients who are searching for a live discussion themselves. We have updated to the Crisp endless plan some time ago, and are glad that we made that decision.
