Why Select Crisp? Crisp Chat Customization
In this article I’ll cover our Experience with Crisp, the reason we changed, and the way it is possible to make the perfect decision for your company and startup too. You may know how to compare live chats and which metrics might be important for you too. Crisp Chat Customization
How was that decision made?
Taking a Look at the market leaders With live chat feature on the market, we also found Crisp through Producthunt. After we have created a Spreadsheet with numerous live chat vendors, we identified that the core attribute and metrics we were searching for.
What did we use previously?
We have Used several other live chat earlier, which somehow shifted their focus from a live conversation to an”all in one business suite”. Their live chat still functions, but metrics that are important for us were removed. We have used those metrics for our monthly reports, and client overviews, growth rates and much more. After we had been in for four weeks those metrics disappeared and were replaced with other metrics. We have got a leaderboard for our staff members, which we didn’t use because we’re searching for quality service and not quantity and the pricing appears to outperform the advantage. So our choice was clear at that moment: we had to proceed.
We found 14 times background, 30 days History and history (for greater plans that this is common), also here the cost scaling was intriguing. All live talks we attempted had that attribute, a few at higher price tags, others together with a badly implemented search feature, therefore the history wasn’t available. Together with Crisp, the boundless history is currently available with their first paid plan, and it not only ships with a fair price tag, also their hunt works exceptionally well.
How many connections do we need?
First, we attempted to answer that Question with another question”how many clients will talk with us” – and that was wrong – we made that mistake once. We can not restrict on the connections we create because we actually wish to make contact with all of them. Unlimited contacts was exactly what we were searching for (at a reasonable price tag). What we found were chats with 100 active contacts for $0/month which was quite nice, we climbed that up a little to 1,000 active contacts along with the price tag shifted from $0/m to ~$125/m or more (~$500/m). We’ve had that experience of price scaling for most of the solutions. As we did the Exact Same contact metric evaluation for Crisp we watched something different:
So at Crisp, you do not scale by usage – which is huge! They believe the identical way we do in Storyblokwe don’t want to limit the consumer to the usage of this machine (eg. Content entries or entries ), we would like to scale as their team scales. So at Crisp you select a plan and you can scale the numbers from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or more) with exactly the exact same price tag.
Trigger events / communications
Automated triggers are used to Send a specific message on predefined events, eg. “a guest is on the exact same site for over 30 seconds”. Those causes are a fantastic method to help your audience with questions they could have. We use it on our pricing page because from time to time there are open questions regarding our pricing, possibly something is not covered in the FAQ section. This part is available in most options we tested and mainly available in the very first paid program.
Possibility to send campaign messages
From Time to Time we send emails Using our live chat. We think that it’s a good way to retarget our audience because we should be able to send pertinent content according to some metrics those live chats offer. In all honesty, we’re not sending many emails, because we hate spam on our side. So we want to send specific mails to specific target groups and again: we really enjoy the execution in the Crisp client. It’s straightforward and fulfilled our needs at a sensible price tag.
Amount of brokers
The broker seats is rather Interesting, it’s something you can control. You could choose 1 account for the whole team (which can be cheap with most solutions), or you might go for one chair for each team member. Since we want to get that personal approach to our customers the notion of using one account for the entire group was dropped immediately. We have begun to compare the first paid plan contrary to the majority of the high tier plans to see how the cost scales again. The highest costs we discovered were about ~$155/m per chair where the scope was somewhere from $15/m to that. We had a peek at Crisp again and found that their highest bundle has unlimited agents seats included. Additionally, their free plan permitted 2 agents, which was excellent for analyzing. Everybody enjoys integrations. Integrations into Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats provide integrations to the main stations. We don’t actually use integrations that much, but the one we use the most is using Slack. Slack is the main communication tool in our business, we use it on a daily basis and added the majority of our tools – so we concentrated on how they work and perform together with Slack. We tested some of these and many are actually working very well. We found one which has enormous delays when messaging from and to Slack which was a no-go for us. We reported that issue to these, but we don’t know whether they changed it because we left six months ago. Together with Crisp the integration worked instantly, notifications arrived immediately and the entire setup was completed in a couple of minutes.
What is Crisp?
“Crisp is the simplest way To communicate with your clients. From sales to customer service, Crisp is made to keep your workflow easy. From live chat to email, Crisp provides a single station to answer to your users employing a simple team inbox where you can manage all of your user queries.”
From our experience, Crisp actually Ships with the focus on such chat experience for your customers. Which is exactly what we were searching for since we evaluated other solutions.
This one is tricky. If you read The last few points you noticed that we contrasted the lower tier programs and feature with the maximum tier plans, some are economical at the start and become costly as you use them. After using Crisp for six months today, and switched from a competition because of that expensive”end” and those feature we didn’t need but would need to pay for. We are pleased to state that we think we got the very best match for us, perhaps it will fit as well for you. We found that the list of 8 facets above is all you need to locate your own best fit.
We made contact with unbelievable Fantastic people (thank You!) And companies all over the globe. We could have had the exact same experience with other live chats too, but the price tag combined with the attribute set Crisp does offer, we would and do recommend it to all clients that are looking for a live chat themselves. We have upgraded to the Crisp endless plan some time ago, and are thankful that we made that decision.
