Why Select Crisp? Crisp
In this article I’ll cover our Expertise with Crisp, why we changed, and how it is possible to make the perfect decision for your company and startup as well. You may understand how to compare live chats and which metrics might be significant for you too. Crisp
How was that decision made?
Looking at the market leaders With live chat feature out there, we found Crisp via Producthunt. After we’ve made a Spreadsheet with numerous live chat sellers, we identified that the core attribute and metrics we were searching for.
What did we use before?
We’ve Used several other live chat earlier, which somehow shifted their focus from a live conversation to an”all in 1 company suite”. Their live chat still functions, but metrics that are significant for us were removed. We have used those metrics for our monthly reports, and customer overviews, growth rates and much more. After we had been in for four weeks those metrics vanished and were replaced by other metrics. We’ve obtained a leaderboard for our team members, which we didn’t use because we’re looking for quality support rather than quantity and the pricing appears to outperform the benefit. Our decision was clear at the moment: we had to move on.
We found 14 times history, 30 days History and history (for greater plans this is common), here the price scaling was interesting. All live chats we tried had this attribute, some at higher price tags, others combined with a poorly executed search feature, and so the background wasn’t available. With Crisp, the unlimited history is currently available with their original paid plan, and it not only ships with a reasonable price tag, but also their search works exceptionally well.
How many connections do we need?
First, we tried to answer that Question with another question”how many clients will talk with us” – and that was wrong – we made that mistake once. We can not restrict on the contacts we make because we actually want to earn contact with them all. Endless contacts was what we were looking for (at an affordable price label ). What we discovered were chats with 100 active contacts for $0/month that was quite nice, we scaled that up a bit to 1,000 active contacts along with the price tag shifted from $0/m to ~$125/m or more (~$500/m). We’ve had that experience of cost scaling for most of the solutions. As we did the same contact metric test for Crisp we saw something different:
So at Crisp, you do not scale by use – which is enormous! They think the identical way we do in Storyblokwe don’t wish to restrict the user to the use of this system (eg. Content entrances or contacts), we want to scale as their team scales. So at Crisp you select a program and you may scale the numbers from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or more) with the same price tag.
Trigger events / messages
Automated triggers are used to Send a specific message on predefined events, eg. “a guest is on the exact same site for more than 30 seconds”. Those triggers are a fantastic method to help your audience with questions they may have. We use it on our pricing page since from time to time there are open questions about our pricing, possibly something isn’t covered in the FAQ section. This part can be found in all solutions we analyzed and largely available in the first paid program.
Possibility to send campaign messages
From time to time we send mails Using our live chat. We think it’s a fantastic way to retarget our audience because we should have the ability to send pertinent content according to some metrics those live talks provide. To be honest, we’re not sending many mails, because we also hate spam on our side. Therefore we want to send certain emails to specific target groups and again: we really enjoy the implementation in the Crisp client. It’s simple and satisfied our needs at a reasonable price tag.
Amount of agents
The agent chairs is rather Intriguing, it’s something you can control. You could choose one account for the whole team (which can be cheap with the majority of options ), or you might go for one chair for each team member. Since we want to get this personal approach to our customers the notion of using one account for the entire team was dropped instantly. We’ve begun to compare the very first paid plan against most of the high tier programs to see the way the cost scales . The greatest prices we found were approximately ~$155/m per seat where the scope was somewhere from $15/m to that. We had a look at Crisp again and saw their highest package has unlimited agents seats included. Additionally, their free plan allowed 2 agents, which was excellent for testing. Crisp
Everybody loves integrations. Integrations to Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats offer integrations into the key channels. We don’t really use integrations that much, but the one we use the most is with Slack. Slack is the principal communication tool in our company, we utilize it on a daily basis and added most of our resources already – so we focused on how they operate and function with Slack. We analyzed some of these and most are actually working very well. We found one that has huge delays when messaging from and also to Slack which was a no-go for us. We reported that issue to them, but we don’t know whether they changed it because we left six months ago. Together with Crisp the integration worked instantly, notifications came immediately and the whole set-up was done in a few minutes.
“Crisp is the simplest way To communicate with your customers. From sales to client support, Crisp is made to maintain your workflow easy. From live chat to email, Crisp offers a single channel to reply to your users using a simple team inbox where you can manage all of your user queries.”
From our experience, Crisp actually Ships with all the attention on such chat experience for the clients. That is precisely what we were looking for as we evaluated other solutions.
This one is tricky. If you read The past few things you noticed that we compared the lower grade plans and feature with the highest tier programs, some are economical at the beginning and be expensive as you use them. After using Crisp for six months now, and changed from a competitor because of the expensive”ending” and those feature we didn’t need but might need to cover. We are pleased to state we believe we have the best match for us, maybe it will fit as nicely for you. We saw the list of 8 aspects above is all you need to locate your best match.
We made contact with incredible Fantastic people (thank You!) And companies all over the world. We might have had exactly the same experience with other live discussions too, but the price tag combined with the attribute set Crisp does provide, we’d and do recommend it to all of clients that are looking for a live chat themselves. We’ve updated to the Crisp unlimited plan some time ago, and are thankful we made that choice.
