Why choose Crisp? Crisp Open Chat
In this article I’ll cover our Experience with Crisp, the reason we switched, and how it is possible to make the perfect choice for your business and startup as well. You may know how to compare live chats and which metrics could be important for you too. Crisp Open Chat
How was that decision made?
Looking at the market leaders With live chat feature out there, we also found Crisp through Producthunt. After we have made a Spreadsheet with numerous live chat vendors, we identified that the core feature and metrics we were looking for.
What did we use before?
We’ve Used several other live chat before, which somehow shifted their focus from a live chat to a”all in 1 company suite”. Their live chat still functions, but metrics which are significant for us were eliminated. We’ve used those metrics for our yearly reports, and client overviews, growth rates and much more. After we were in for four months those metrics disappeared and were replaced with other metrics. We’ve obtained a leaderboard for our staff members, which we didn’t use because we are looking for quality support and not quantity as well as the pricing appears to outperform the benefit. So our choice was apparent at the moment: we had to move on.
We found 14 days background, 30 days History and unlimited history (for greater plans this is common), here the price scaling was interesting. All live talks we tried had this attribute, a few at higher price tags, others together with a poorly executed search feature, therefore the background wasn’t accessible. Together with Crisp, the unlimited history is already available with their original paid plan, and it not only ships with a reasonable price tag, but also their hunt works exceptionally well.
How many contacts do we want?
First, we tried to answer that Question with another question”how many clients will chat with us” – and that has been wrong – we made that mistake already once. We can’t restrict on the contacts we create because we really wish to make contact with all of them. Unlimited contacts was what we were looking for (in a reasonable price tag). What we found were chats with 100 active contacts for $0/month which was quite nice, we scaled up that a bit to 1,000 active contacts along with the price tag shifted from $0/m to ~$125/m or more (~$500/m). We have had that experience of cost scaling for most of the solutions. As we did the Exact Same contact metric evaluation for Crisp we watched something different:
So at Crisp, you do not scale by use – which is huge! They believe the identical way we do at Storyblokwe do not wish to limit the consumer to the usage of the system (eg. Content entrances or entries ), we would like to scale because their team scales. So at Crisp you choose a program and you may scale the numbers from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or much more ) with the exact same price tag.
Trigger events / messages
Automated triggers are used to Send a specific message on predefined events, eg. “a visitor is on precisely the exact same site for more than 30 seconds”. Those causes are a good method to help your audience with queries they may have. We use it on our pricing page because from time to time there are open questions about our pricing, maybe something isn’t covered in the FAQ section. This part can be found in most options we analyzed and largely available in the first paid program.
Ability to send campaign emails
From time to time we send emails Utilizing our live chat. We think that it’s a fantastic way to retarget our audience because we ought to be able to send relevant content according to some metrics people live chats offer. In all honesty, we’re not sending many emails, because we also hate spam on our side. So we like to send certain mails to particular target groups and : we really like the implementation in the Crisp client. It’s simple and fulfilled our needs at a sensible price tag.
Number of brokers
The broker seats is rather Intriguing, it is something that you can control. You could choose 1 account for the entire group (which can be cheap with most solutions), or you could go for a single chair for every team member. Since we like to get that personal approach to our customers the idea of using one accounts for the entire team was dropped immediately. We have started to compare the very first paid program contrary to most of the high tier plans to observe how the cost scales again. The highest costs we discovered were approximately ~$155/m per seat where the range was somewhere from $15/m to this. We had a peek at Crisp again and found that their highest bundle has unlimited agents seats included. Also, their free plan permitted 2 agents, which was great for testing. Crisp Open Chat
Everybody enjoys integrations. Integrations to Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats offer integrations into the key channels. We do not really utilize integrations that much, but the one we use the most is with Slack. Slack is the main communication tool in our business, we utilize it on a daily basis and added most of our tools – so we concentrated on how they work and perform with Slack. We tested some of these and many are actually working very well. We found one that has enormous delays when messaging from and also to Slack that was a no-go for all of us. We reported that difficulty to them, but we do not know if they changed it because we left six months ago. With Crisp the integration worked instantly, notifications arrived immediately and the entire setup was done in a couple of minutes.
“Crisp is the simplest way To speak with your customers. From sales to customer support, Crisp is made to maintain your workflow simple. From live chat to email, Crisp provides a single station to answer to your users using a very simple team inbox where you are able to handle all of your user queries.”
From our experience, Crisp really Ships with the attention on that chat experience for the clients. That is exactly what we were searching for as we evaluated other alternatives.
This one is tricky. If you browse The last few points you saw that we contrasted the lower grade programs and attribute with the highest tier programs, some are economical at the start and become expensive as you use them. After using Crisp for six months today, and switched from a competition because of that expensive”end” and those attribute we didn’t need but would have to pay for. We’re pleased to state that we think we got the best match for us, perhaps it will fit as well for you. We found the listing of 8 facets above is all you want to locate your own best fit.
We made contact with incredible Fantastic people (thank You!) And businesses all around the globe. We could have had the exact same experience with other live discussions too, but the price tag combined with the attribute set Crisp does offer, we would and do recommend it to all clients that are searching for a live chat . We’ve updated to the Crisp unlimited plan some time ago, and are thankful that we made that decision.
