Why choose Crisp? Crisp Set
In this article I’ll cover our Experience with Crisp, the reason we changed, and how you can make the right decision for your business and startup as well. You will know how to compare live chats and which metrics might be important for you too. Crisp Set
How was that decision made?
Taking a Look at the market leaders With live chat feature out there, we also found Crisp via Producthunt. After we’ve created a Spreadsheet with numerous live chat vendors, we defined the core feature and metrics we were looking for.
What did we use previously?
We have Used several other live chat earlier, which shifted their focus from a live chat to a”all in one company suite”. Their live chat still functions, but metrics which are significant for us were eliminated. We have used those metrics for our yearly reports, and customer overviews, growth rates and much more. After we were in for four months those metrics disappeared and were replaced by other metrics. We’ve got a leaderboard for our staff members, which we did not use because we’re looking for quality support rather than quantity as well as the pricing appears to outperform the benefit. Our decision was apparent at that moment: we needed to move on.
We found 14 days history, 30 days History and history (for greater plans that this is common), here the cost scaling was interesting. All live chats we tried had that attribute, a few at higher price tags, others combined with a badly executed search feature, and so the background was not available. Together with Crisp, the unlimited history is currently available with their original paid program, and it not only ships with a fair price tag, also their hunt works astoundingly well.
How many connections do we need?
We tried to answer that Question with another question”how many clients will chat with us” – and that was incorrect – we made that mistake already once. We can not limit on the contacts we create because we really want to earn contact with all of them. Endless contacts was what we were searching for (at an affordable price tag). What we discovered were chats with 100 active contacts for $0/month that was quite nice, we climbed up that a bit to 1,000 active contacts along with the price tag switched from $0/m to ~$125/m or even more (~$500/m). We’ve had that experience of cost scaling for the majority of the solutions. As we did the Exact Same contact metric test for Crisp we saw something different:
So at Crisp, you don’t scale by usage – which is huge! They think the identical way we do in Storyblokwe do not want to limit the user to the use of this machine (eg. Content entries or entries ), we would like to scale because their team scales. So at Crisp you choose a plan and you may scale the numbers from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or more) with the same price tag.
Trigger events / communications
Automated triggers are Utilized to Send a specific message on predefined events, eg. “a guest is on precisely the same website for more than 30 seconds”. Those causes are a fantastic method to help your viewers with questions they could have. We use it on our pricing page because from time to time there are open questions regarding our pricing, maybe something is not covered in the FAQ section. This component can be found in all options we tested and largely available in the very first paid program.
Ability to send campaign emails
From time to time we send emails Using our live chat. We think that it’s a fantastic way to retarget our viewers because we should be able to send pertinent content according to some metrics people live chats provide. To be honest, we’re not sending many emails, because we also hate spam on our side. So we like to send specific emails to specific target groups and again: we really enjoy the execution in the Crisp client. It’s straightforward and satisfied our needs at a reasonable price tag.
Number of agents
The agent chairs is rather Interesting, it’s something you can control. You could choose one account for the entire group (which is cheap with the majority of solutions), or you might go for a single chair for every team member. Since we want to get that personal approach to our clients the notion of using one accounts for the entire group was dropped immediately. We’ve begun to compare the very first paid program contrary to the majority of the high tier plans to observe how the price scales again. The greatest prices we found were approximately ~$155/m per chair where the range was somewhere from $15/m to that. We had a look at Crisp again and found their greatest bundle has unlimited agents seats included. Also, their free plan permitted 2 agents, which was excellent for analyzing. Crisp Set
Everybody enjoys integrations. Integrations into Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats provide integrations to the key stations. We do not actually utilize integrations that much, but the one we use the maximum is with Slack. Slack is the principal communication tool in our business, we utilize it on a daily basis and added the majority of our tools already – so we focused on how they work and perform with Slack. We analyzed some of them and most are actually working quite well. We found one that has huge delays when messaging from and also to Slack which was a no-go for us. We reported that difficulty to these, but we do not know if they changed it since we left six months ago. Together with Crisp the integration worked instantly, notifications arrived immediately and the whole setup was done in a couple of minutes.
What is Crisp?
“Crisp is the simplest way To communicate with your clients. From sales to client support, Crisp is made to maintain your workflow easy. From live chat to email, Crisp offers a single channel to answer to your users employing a simple team inbox where you can handle all of your user queries.”
From our experience, Crisp actually Ships with the attention on that chat experience for the clients. Which is precisely what we were looking for since we evaluated other alternatives.
This one is tricky. If you read The last few points you saw that we contrasted the lower tier plans and attribute with the maximum tier programs, some are economical at the start and be expensive as you use them. After using Crisp for six months today, and switched from a competitor because of that pricey”end” and those attribute we did not need but would need to pay for. We are pleased to say we think we have the best match for us, perhaps it will fit as nicely for you. We saw that the list of 8 facets above is all you need to find your own best fit.
We made contact with unbelievable Fantastic people (thank You!) And businesses all over the world. We might have had exactly the same experience with other live discussions too, but the price tag combined with the attribute set Crisp does provide, we’d and already do recommend it to all clients who are looking for a live discussion . We’ve upgraded to the Crisp endless plan some time ago, and are glad that we made that decision.
