Why choose Crisp? Crispy Aloo Chaat
In this article I’ll cover our Experience with Crisp, why we changed, and the way you can make the right choice for your company and startup too. You may know how to compare live chats and which metrics might be significant for you also. Crispy Aloo Chaat
How was that choice made?
Looking at the market leaders With live chat feature out there, we also found Crisp through Producthunt. After we’ve made a Spreadsheet with numerous live chat sellers, we identified that the core feature and metrics we were searching for.
What did we use before?
We have Used multiple other live chat before, which somehow shifted their focus from a live chat to an”all in 1 company suite”. Their live chat still functions, but metrics that are important for us were eliminated. We have used those metrics for our monthly reports, and client overviews, growth rates and more. After we had been in for four months those metrics disappeared and were replaced with other metrics. We have got a leaderboard for our team members, which we didn’t use because we’re searching for quality service and not quantity as well as the pricing appears to outperform the advantage. So our decision was clear at that moment: we had to move on.
We found 14 times history, 30 days History and unlimited history (for greater plans this is common), also here the cost scaling was interesting. All live chats we attempted had that feature, some at higher price tagsothers combined with a poorly implemented search feature, therefore the background wasn’t available. Together with Crisp, the unlimited history is currently available with their first paid plan, and it not only ships with a reasonable price tag, also their search works astoundingly well.
How many connections do we want?
First, we attempted to answer that Question with another question”how many clients will talk with us?” – and that has been wrong – we made that mistake once. We can not limit on the connections we make because we actually wish to earn contact with all of them. Unlimited contacts was what we were looking for (at an affordable price label ). What we found were discussions with 100 active contacts for $0/month which was quite nice, we scaled that up a bit to 1,000 active contacts and the price tag switched from $0/m to ~$125/m or more (~$500/m). We’ve had that experience of price scaling for the majority of the solutions. As we did exactly the Exact Same contact metric test for Crisp we saw something different:
So at Crisp, you don’t scale by usage – that is huge! They believe the identical way we do at Storyblokwe don’t wish to restrict the consumer to the use of this system (eg. Content entries or contacts), we want to scale as their staff scales. So at Crisp you select a plan and you can scale the numbers from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or more) with exactly the exact same price tag.
Trigger events / communications
Automated triggers are used to Send a particular message on predefined events, eg. “a visitor is on the exact same website for more than 30 seconds”. Those triggers are a fantastic way to help your viewers with questions they may have. We use it on our pricing page because from time to time there are open questions about our pricing, possibly something isn’t covered in the FAQ section. This component can be found in all options we tested and mainly available in the first paid plan.
Possibility to send campaign emails
From time to time we send emails Utilizing our live chat. We think that it’s a good way to retarget our audience because we ought to be able to send relevant content based on some metrics people live chats offer. To be honest, we’re not sending many emails, because we hate spam on the side. Therefore we want to send certain mails to particular target groups and : we really enjoy the implementation in the Crisp customer. It is straightforward and satisfied our needs at a reasonable price tag.
Amount of brokers
The broker chairs is kinda Intriguing, it is something that you can control. You could choose one accounts for the entire group (which is cheap with most solutions), or you might go for one seat for each team member. Since we like to have this personal approach to our customers the notion of using one account for the whole team was dropped instantly. We have begun to compare the very first paid program contrary to most of the high tier plans to observe the way the cost scales again. The greatest costs we discovered were about ~$155/m per chair where the range was somewhere from $15/m to that. We had a look at Crisp again and saw that their greatest package has unlimited agents chairs included. Also, their free plan allowed 2 representatives, which was excellent for analyzing. Everybody enjoys integrations. Integrations into Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats provide integrations to the key stations. We don’t really utilize integrations that much, but the one we use the most is using Slack. Slack is the principal communication tool in our company, we use it on a daily basis and added most of our resources – so we focused on how they work and function together with Slack. We tested some of these and many are actually working very well. We found one which has enormous delays when messaging from and also to Slack which was a no-go for us. We reported that issue to these, but we do not know if they changed it since we left six months ago. With Crisp the integration worked immediately, notifications came immediately and the entire set-up was completed in a couple of minutes.
“Crisp is the simplest way To speak with your clients. From sales to client service, Crisp is designed to keep your workflow simple. From live chat to email, Crisp provides a single station to answer to your users using a simple team inbox where you can manage all of your user inquiries.”
From our experience, Crisp actually Ships with all the focus on such chat experience for the clients. Which is precisely what we were looking for as we evaluated other solutions.
This one is tricky. If you read The last few points you noticed that we compared the lower grade plans and feature together with the highest tier plans, some are cheap at the beginning and become costly as you use them. After using Crisp for six months now, and changed from a competition because of the pricey”end” and those attribute we did not need but might have to pay for. We’re glad to state we think we have the best match for us, maybe it will fit as nicely for you. We saw the list of 8 aspects above is all you need to locate your best fit.
We made contact with incredible Fantastic people (thank You!) And businesses all over the world. We could have had exactly the same experience with other live chats as well, but the price combined with the feature set Crisp does provide, we’d and do recommend it to all of clients who are searching for a live chat themselves. We’ve upgraded to the Crisp unlimited plan some time ago, and are glad that we made that choice.
