Why Select Crisp? Free Chat Box
In this article I’ll cover our Experience with Crisp, why we switched, and the way you can make the right decision for your business and startup as well. You may know how to compare live talks and that metrics might be important for you also. Free Chat Box
How was that choice made?
Looking at the market leaders With live chat feature out there, we found Crisp through Producthunt. After we’ve created a Spreadsheet with numerous live chat sellers, we defined the core attribute and metrics we were searching for.
What did we use previously?
We’ve Used several other live chat before, which shifted their attention from a live chat to an”all in one company suite”. Their live chat still functions, but metrics which are significant for us were removed. We have used those metrics for our yearly reports, and client overviews, growth rates and more. After we had been in for four months those metrics disappeared and were replaced with other metrics. We have obtained a leaderboard for our staff members, which we didn’t use because we are searching for quality service rather than quantity and the pricing seems to outperform the benefit. So our choice was apparent at that moment: we had to proceed.
We found 14 times history, 30 days History and history (for higher plans that this is common), here the price scaling was interesting. All live talks we tried had that attribute, a few at higher price tagsothers combined with a badly implemented search feature, therefore the background wasn’t accessible. With Crisp, the boundless history is currently available with their original paid program, and it not only ships with a reasonable price tag, also their search works astoundingly well.
How many connections do we want?
We attempted to answer that Question with another question”how many clients will chat with us?” – and that was wrong – we made that mistake already once. We can’t limit on the contacts we make because we really want to earn contact with them all. Endless contacts was what we were searching for (in an affordable price label ). What we discovered were discussions with 100 active contacts for $0/month which was quite nice, we climbed that up a bit to 1,000 active contacts along with the price tag shifted from $0/m to ~$125/m or even more (~$500/m). We’ve had that experience of price scaling for the majority of the solutions. As we did the Exact Same contact metric test for Crisp we watched something different:
So at Crisp, you don’t scale by usage – which is huge! They think the same way we do at Storyblokwe do not want to restrict the consumer to the use of this machine (eg. Content entries or contacts), we would like to scale because their staff scales. So at Crisp you choose a program and you may scale the numbers from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or much more ) with the same price tag.
Trigger events / communications
Automated triggers are used to Send a specific message on predefined events, eg. “a guest is on the exact same website for more than 30 seconds”. Those causes are a fantastic way to help your audience with questions they could have. We use it on our pricing page since from time to time there are open questions about our pricing, possibly something isn’t covered in the FAQ section. This part is available in most solutions we tested and largely available in the very first paid program.
Ability to send campaign emails
From time to time we send mails Utilizing our live chat. We think it’s a good way to retarget our audience because we ought to have the ability to send pertinent content based on some metrics those live chats offer. In all honesty, we’re not sending many mails, because we hate spam on the side. Therefore we want to send specific mails to particular target groups and again: we really enjoy the execution in the Crisp client. It’s simple and fulfilled our needs at a sensible price tag.
Amount of agents
The agent seats is kinda Intriguing, it’s something you can control. You could choose 1 account for the whole team (which can be cheap with most solutions), or you could go for a single chair for each team member. Since we like to get this personal approach to our clients the idea of using one account for the whole team was dropped immediately. We’ve begun to compare the first paid plan contrary to most of the high tier programs to observe how the price scales again. The greatest costs we found were about ~$155/m per chair where the range was somewhere from $15/m to this. We had a look at Crisp again and saw that their highest bundle has unlimited agents seats included. Also, their free strategy permitted 2 representatives, which was excellent for testing. Everybody enjoys integrations. Integrations into Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats provide integrations to the key channels. We don’t really use integrations that much, but the one we use the maximum is with Slack. Slack is the principal communication tool in our business, we use it on a daily basis and added the majority of our tools already – so we focused on how they work and function with Slack. We tested some of them and many are actually working very well. We found one which has huge delays when messaging from and to Slack which was a no-go for us. We reported that issue to them, but we do not know whether they changed it because we left six months ago. With Crisp the integration worked immediately, notifications came immediately and the whole set-up was done in a few minutes.
“Crisp is the simplest way To communicate with your customers. From sales to client support, Crisp is made to keep your workflow simple. From live chat to email, Crisp offers one channel to reply to your users employing a very simple team inbox where you are able to handle all your user queries.”
From our experience, Crisp actually Ships with the attention on that chat experience for the customers. Which is exactly what we were looking for as we evaluated other alternatives.
This one is tricky. If you read The last few points you noticed that we compared the lower tier plans and feature with the highest tier programs, some are cheap at the beginning and become costly as you use them. After using Crisp for six months now, and changed from a competition because of the expensive”end” and those feature we did not need but might have to pay for. We are pleased to say that we believe we have the very best match for us, maybe it will fit as well for you. We saw that the list of 8 facets above is all you want to find your best match.
We made contact with unbelievable great people (thank You!) And companies all around the globe. We could have had the exact same experience with other live discussions as well, but the price tag combined with the attribute set Crisp does provide, we’d and already do recommend it to all clients who are searching for a live discussion . We’ve updated to the Crisp unlimited plan a while ago, and are thankful we made that decision.
