Why choose Crisp? Free Chat System
In this article I’ll cover our Experience with Crisp, the reason we switched, and the way you can make the perfect decision for your business and startup too. You will understand how to compare live talks and that metrics could be significant for you also. Free Chat System
How was that choice made?
Looking at the market leaders With live chat feature out there, we found Crisp through Producthunt. After we’ve made a Spreadsheet with multiple live chat sellers, we defined the core feature and metrics we were looking for.
What did we use before?
We’ve Used several other live chat earlier, which shifted their attention from a live conversation to a”all in 1 business suite”. Their live chat still functions, but metrics which are significant for us were eliminated. We’ve used those metrics for our monthly reports, and customer overviews, growth rates and much more. After we had been in for four weeks those metrics vanished and were replaced with other metrics. We have obtained a leaderboard for our staff members, which we did not use because we’re looking for quality support rather than quantity and the pricing appears to outperform the advantage. So our decision was apparent at that moment: we needed to move on.
We found 14 times background, 30 days History and history (for higher plans that this is common), here the cost scaling was interesting. All live chats we tried had that attribute, some at higher price tags, others combined with a badly executed search feature, and so the history wasn’t accessible. With Crisp, the boundless history is already available with their original paid plan, and it not only ships with a reasonable price tag, but also their search works astoundingly well.
How many connections do we need?
First, we attempted to answer that Question with another question”how many clients will chat with us?” – and that has been wrong – we made that mistake already once. We can’t limit on the contacts we create because we really wish to make contact with all of them. Unlimited contacts was exactly what we were searching for (at a reasonable price tag). What we found were discussions with 100 active contacts for $0/month which was quite nice, we climbed up that a little to 1,000 active contacts along with the price tag switched from $0/m to ~$125/m or even more (~$500/m). We have had that experience of cost scaling for most of the solutions. As we did exactly the same contact metric test for Crisp we watched something different:
So at Crisp, you don’t scale by use – which is huge! They believe the identical way we do at Storyblokwe do not wish to restrict the user to the usage of this machine (eg. Content entrances or contacts), we would like to scale because their staff scales. So at Crisp you select a plan and you may scale the amounts from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or more) with exactly the same price tag.
Trigger events / messages
Automated triggers are used to Send a specific message on predefined events, eg. “a visitor is on the same website for more than 30 seconds”. Those causes are a good method to help your viewers with questions they could have. We use it on our pricing page since from time to time there are open questions about our pricing, possibly something isn’t covered in the FAQ section. This part is available in all options we tested and largely available in the very first paid program.
Possibility to send campaign messages
From Time to Time we send mails Utilizing our live chat. We think that it’s a good way to retarget our viewers because we should be able to send pertinent content based on some metrics people live chats offer. In all honesty, we are not sending many mails, because we hate spam on our side. Therefore we want to send certain emails to particular target groups and : we really enjoy the implementation in the Crisp client. It is simple and fulfilled our needs at a sensible price tag.
Amount of agents
The broker seats is kinda Interesting, it is something you can control. You could choose 1 accounts for the whole team (which can be cheap with most solutions), or you could go for one chair for each team member. Since we want to get that personal approach to our clients the notion of using one accounts for the entire group was dropped instantly. We’ve begun to compare the very first paid plan against the majority of the high tier plans to see the way the cost scales . The highest costs we found were approximately ~$155/m per chair where the scope was somewhere from $15/m to that. We had a look at Crisp again and saw their highest package has unlimited agents seats included. Additionally, their free plan permitted 2 representatives, which was great for analyzing. Everybody loves integrations. Integrations to Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats offer integrations to the key channels. We do not really utilize integrations that much, but the one we use the most is using Slack. Slack is the principal communication tool in our company, we use it on a daily basis and included the majority of our resources already – so we focused on how they operate and function together with Slack. We tested some of these and many are actually working quite well. We found one which has enormous delays when messaging from and also to Slack that was a no-go for us. We reported that issue to them, but we do not know if they changed it since we left six months ago. With Crisp the integration worked instantly, notifications came immediately and the whole set-up was completed in a couple of minutes.
“Crisp is the simplest way To communicate with your clients. From sales to customer service, Crisp is made to keep your workflow easy. From live chat to email, Crisp provides a single station to answer to your users employing a simple team inbox where you can handle all your user queries.”
From our experience, Crisp actually Ships with the attention on that chat experience for the clients. Which is exactly what we were looking for since we evaluated other alternatives.
This one is tricky. If you read The past few things you saw that we compared the lower grade plans and feature together with the maximum tier programs, some are cheap at the start and be expensive as you use them. After using Crisp for six months now, and changed from a competitor because of that pricey”ending” and those feature we did not need but might need to pay for. We’re pleased to say that we think we got the very best fit for us, maybe it will fit as nicely for you. We found that the list of 8 aspects above is all you need to locate your own best match.
We made contact with unbelievable great people (thank You!) And businesses all around the globe. We could have had the same experience with other live discussions as well, but the price tag combined with the feature set Crisp does provide, we would and already do recommend it to all of customers who are searching for a live chat themselves. We’ve updated to the Crisp unlimited plan some time ago, and are glad that we made that decision.
