Why Select Crisp? Free Email Domain
In this article I’ll cover our Experience with Crisp, the reason we changed, and how it is possible to make the perfect choice for your business and startup as well. You will understand how to compare live talks and that metrics could be significant for you too. Free Email Domain
How was that decision made?
Looking at the market leaders With live chat feature on the market, we also found Crisp through Producthunt. After we’ve created a Spreadsheet with multiple live chat sellers, we identified that the core feature and metrics we were looking for.
What did we use before?
We have Used several other live chat earlier, which shifted their focus from a live chat to an”all in 1 business suite”. Their live chat still functions, but metrics which are significant for us were eliminated. We’ve used those metrics for our monthly reports, and client overviews, growth rates and more. After we had been in for four weeks those metrics vanished and were replaced with other metrics. We have got a leaderboard for our team members, which we didn’t use because we’re looking for quality support rather than quantity and the pricing appears to outperform the advantage. Our decision was apparent at that moment: we needed to move on.
We found 14 days history, 30 days History and history (for greater plans this is common), here the cost scaling was intriguing. All live talks we attempted had that feature, some at higher price tagsothers combined with a poorly executed search feature, and so the history wasn’t accessible. With Crisp, the boundless history is already available with their first paid program, and it not only ships with a reasonable price tag, also their search works exceptionally well.
How many contacts do we want?
We attempted to answer that Question with another question”how many customers will chat with us?” – and that was wrong – we made that mistake once. We can not restrict on the connections we make because we really want to make contact with them all. Unlimited contacts was exactly what we were searching for (in an affordable price tag). What we found were chats with 100 active contacts for $0/month that was quite nice, we climbed that up a little to 1,000 active contacts and the price tag switched from $0/m to ~$125/m or even more (~$500/m). We have had that experience of price scaling for most of the solutions. As we did exactly the same contact metric test for Crisp we saw something different:
So at Crisp, you don’t scale by usage – that is huge! They believe the same way we do at Storyblok, we don’t want to restrict the consumer to the use of the system (eg. Content entries or contacts), we would like to scale because their team scales. So at Crisp you choose a plan and you may scale the amounts from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or more) with exactly the same price tag.
Trigger events / communications
Automated triggers are used to Send a particular message on predefined events, eg. “a guest is on the same site for more than 30 seconds”. Those causes are a fantastic way to help your viewers with queries they may have. We use it on our pricing page because from time to time there are open questions regarding our pricing, possibly something isn’t covered in the FAQ section. This component can be found in most solutions we analyzed and largely available in the very first paid plan.
Ability to send campaign messages
From time to time we send mails Using our live chat. We think that it’s a good way to retarget our viewers because we ought to be able to send pertinent content according to some metrics those live chats provide. To be honest, we’re not sending many mails, because we also hate spam on the side. So we want to send specific emails to specific target groups and : we really like the execution in the Crisp customer. It’s simple and fulfilled our needs at a sensible price tag.
Amount of agents
The broker seats is rather Interesting, it’s something that you can control. You could choose 1 account for the whole group (which can be cheap with most solutions), or you might go for a single seat for each team member. Since we want to have this personal approach to our customers the idea of using one accounts for the whole team was dropped instantly. We have begun to compare the very first paid plan against the majority of the high tier programs to see how the price scales again. The highest costs we discovered were about ~$155/m per chair where the range was somewhere from $15/m to this. We had a look at Crisp again and saw their greatest bundle has unlimited agents chairs included. Additionally, their free plan allowed 2 representatives, which was excellent for testing. Everybody enjoys integrations. Integrations to Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats provide integrations into the main channels. We do not really utilize integrations that much, but the one we use the maximum is using Slack. Slack is the principal communication tool in our company, we utilize it on a daily basis and included most of our resources – so we concentrated on how they work and perform with Slack. We analyzed some of these and many are actually working very well. We found one that has huge delays when messaging from and also to Slack that was a no-go for all of us. We reported that issue to them, but we don’t know if they changed it since we left six months ago. Together with Crisp the integration worked instantly, notifications arrived immediately and the entire set-up was done in a few minutes.
What is Crisp?
“Crisp is the simplest way To communicate with your customers. From sales to customer support, Crisp is designed to keep your workflow easy. From live chat to email, Crisp offers a single station to answer to your users using a simple team inbox where you can manage all your user queries.”
From our experience, Crisp really Ships with all the attention on that chat experience for the customers. Which is precisely what we were searching for since we evaluated other alternatives.
This one is tricky. If you read The last few points you saw that we compared the lower grade plans and feature with the maximum tier programs, some are economical at the start and be expensive as you use them. After using Crisp for six months now, and changed from a competitor because of the pricey”ending” and those attribute we did not need but would need to cover. We’re glad to say we believe we got the very best fit for us, perhaps it will fit as nicely for you. We saw the list of 8 aspects above is all you need to find your best match.
We made contact with incredible great people (thank You!) And companies all over the globe. We might have had the exact same experience with other live discussions too, but the price combined with the attribute set Crisp does provide, we’d and already do recommend it to all of customers that are looking for a live discussion themselves. We’ve upgraded to the Crisp unlimited plan a while ago, and are glad that we made that choice.
