Why choose Crisp? Free Trial Chat
In this article I’ll cover our Expertise with Crisp, the reason we switched, and the way you can make the right choice for your business and startup too. You may understand how to compare live talks and that metrics could be important for you also. Free Trial Chat
How was that selection made?
Taking a Look at the market leaders With live chat feature on the market, we also found Crisp via Producthunt. After we have created a Spreadsheet with numerous live chat vendors, we defined the core feature and metrics we were searching for.
What did we use before?
We have Used multiple other live chat before, which somehow shifted their focus from a live conversation to a”all in one company suite”. Their live chat still functions, but metrics that are significant for us were removed. We’ve used those metrics for our yearly reports, and customer overviews, growth rates and more. After we were in for four months those metrics vanished and were replaced by other metrics. We’ve got a leaderboard for our staff members, which we didn’t use because we’re searching for quality service and not quantity as well as the pricing appears to outperform the benefit. Our choice was clear at the moment: we needed to move on.
We found 14 days background, 30 days History and unlimited history (for greater plans that this is common), also here the price scaling was interesting. All live chats we tried had that feature, a few at higher price tags, others together with a badly implemented search feature, therefore the history was not accessible. With Crisp, the unlimited history is currently available with their first paid program, and it not only ships with a reasonable price tag, also their hunt works exceptionally well.
How many connections do we want?
We attempted to answer that Question with another question”how many clients will chat with us?” – and that has been wrong – we made that mistake already once. We can not limit on the connections we create because we actually want to make contact with all of them. Endless contacts was exactly what we were looking for (at an affordable price label ). What we found were chats with 100 active contacts for $0/month that was quite pleasant, we climbed that up a bit to 1,000 active contacts along with the price tag switched from $0/m to ~$125/m or more (~$500/m). We have had that experience of price scaling for most of the solutions. As we did exactly the same contact metric evaluation for Crisp we saw something different:
So at Crisp, you don’t scale by usage – which is huge! They believe the identical way we do at Storyblokwe don’t want to restrict the user to the use of the system (eg. Content entrances or entries ), we want to scale because their staff scales. So at Crisp you choose a program and you may scale the amounts from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or much more ) with the same price tag.
Trigger events / communications
Automated triggers are Utilized to Send a particular message on predefined events, eg. “a guest is on the same site for over 30 seconds”. Those triggers are a good method to help your audience with questions they could have. We use it on our pricing page since from time to time there are open questions regarding our pricing, maybe something is not covered in the FAQ section. This part is available in most options we analyzed and largely available in the very first paid program.
Ability to send campaign emails
From Time to Time we send mails Using our live chat. We think that it’s a good way to retarget our audience because we should have the ability to send pertinent content according to some metrics people live chats offer. In all honesty, we’re not sending many emails, because we also hate spam on our side. So we want to send certain mails to specific target groups and again: we really enjoy the implementation in the Crisp customer. It is straightforward and satisfied our needs at a reasonable price tag.
Number of agents
The agent seats is kinda Interesting, it’s something you can control. You could choose 1 account for the entire group (which can be cheap with most solutions), or you might go for one chair for every team member. Since we like to have that personal approach to our clients the notion of using one account for the whole team was dropped immediately. We’ve started to compare the very first paid program against most of the high tier plans to observe the way the cost scales again. The highest prices we found were approximately ~$155/m per seat where the scope was somewhere from $15/m to this. We had a look at Crisp again and found their highest bundle has unlimited agents seats included. Also, their free strategy allowed 2 agents, which was excellent for testing. Free Trial Chat
Everybody enjoys integrations. Integrations to Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats offer integrations to the main stations. We don’t really utilize integrations that much, but the one we use the maximum is using Slack. Slack is the main communication tool in our business, we utilize it on a daily basis and included most of our resources – so we focused on how they operate and perform with Slack. We tested some of these and many are actually working quite well. We found one that has huge delays when messaging from and to Slack that was a no-go for us. We reported that difficulty to these, but we don’t know whether they changed it because we left six months ago. Together with Crisp the integration worked instantly, notifications came immediately and the whole setup was completed in a couple of minutes.
“Crisp is the simplest way To communicate with your customers. From sales to customer service, Crisp is designed to keep your workflow simple. From live chat to email, Crisp offers a single channel to answer to your users employing a very simple team inbox where you can handle all your user queries.”
From our experience, Crisp actually Ships with all the attention on such chat experience for the clients. That is exactly what we were looking for since we evaluated other solutions.
This one is tricky. If you read The last few points you saw that we compared the lower tier plans and feature together with the highest tier plans, some are cheap at the beginning and become expensive as you use them. After using Crisp for six months now, and switched from a competition because of the expensive”ending” and those attribute we didn’t need but would have to cover. We’re pleased to say we think we have the best match for us, maybe it will fit as well for you. We saw that the listing of 8 facets above is all you need to find your own best match.
We made contact with unbelievable Fantastic people (thank You!) And companies all over the globe. We could have had exactly the same experience with other live chats too, but the price tag combined with the attribute set Crisp does provide, we would and already do recommend it to all of clients who are searching for a live chat themselves. We’ve updated to the Crisp endless plan a while ago, and are thankful that we made that choice.
