Why choose Crisp? Identity Not Verified
In this article I’ll cover our Experience with Crisp, the reason we changed, and the way you can make the perfect decision for your company and startup too. You may understand how to compare live chats and which metrics could be significant for you too. Identity Not Verified
How was that choice made?
Taking a Look at the market leaders With live chat feature on the market, we found Crisp through Producthunt. After we’ve created a Spreadsheet with numerous live chat vendors, we defined the core feature and metrics we were searching for.
What did we use previously?
We have Used multiple other live chat before, which somehow shifted their attention from a live conversation to an”all in 1 company suite”. Their live chat still works, but metrics which are important for us were removed. We have used those metrics for our yearly reports, and customer overviews, growth rates and more. After we had been in for four weeks those metrics vanished and were replaced with other metrics. We have obtained a leaderboard for our staff members, which we did not use because we’re looking for quality support rather than quantity as well as the pricing seems to outperform the advantage. Our choice was clear at that moment: we had to proceed.
We found 14 days history, 30 days History and history (for higher plans that this is common), also here the cost scaling was intriguing. All live talks we tried had this feature, some at higher price tags, others together with a poorly implemented search feature, and so the history wasn’t available. Together with Crisp, the boundless history is currently available with their first paid plan, and it not only ships with a reasonable price tag, but also their search works astoundingly well.
How many connections do we need?
First, we tried to answer that Question with another question”how many customers will talk with us” – and that was wrong – we made that mistake already once. We can not limit on the connections we create because we actually want to make contact with them all. Unlimited contacts was what we were searching for (at a reasonable price label ). What we found were chats with 100 active contacts for $0/month which was quite nice, we scaled that up a bit to 1,000 active contacts and the price tag shifted from $0/m to ~$125/m or more (~$500/m). We have had that experience of price scaling for most of the solutions. As we did the same contact metric evaluation for Crisp we saw something different:
So at Crisp, you don’t scale by use – that is enormous! They think the same way we do in Storyblokwe don’t wish to restrict the consumer to the use of this machine (eg. Content entries or entries ), we want to scale as their team scales. So at Crisp you choose a plan and you can scale the numbers from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or more) with exactly the same price tag.
Trigger events / messages
Automated triggers are Utilized to Send a specific message on predefined events, eg. “a visitor is on the exact same site for more than 30 seconds”. Those triggers are a fantastic method to help your viewers with queries they may have. We use it on our pricing page since from time to time there are open questions about our pricing, maybe something is not covered in the FAQ section. This part can be found in all solutions we tested and largely available in the first paid program.
Possibility to send campaign messages
From time to time we send emails Utilizing our live chat. We think it’s a good way to retarget our audience because we should have the ability to send pertinent content based on some metrics people live chats provide. To be honest, we are not sending many mails, because we hate spam on our side. So we want to send specific emails to particular target groups and again: we really enjoy the execution in the Crisp client. It is straightforward and fulfilled our needs at a sensible price tag.
Number of agents
The broker chairs is kinda Interesting, it is something you can control. You could choose 1 account for the whole team (which is cheap with the majority of solutions), or you might go for one seat for every team member. Since we want to get this personal approach to our clients the idea of using one accounts for the whole team was dropped instantly. We’ve started to compare the first paid program against most of the high tier programs to observe how the price scales . The highest costs we discovered were about ~$155/m per chair where the scope was somewhere from $15/m to this. We had a peek at Crisp again and saw their greatest package has unlimited agents chairs included. Additionally, their free strategy allowed 2 agents, which was great for testing. Everybody enjoys integrations. Integrations to Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats offer integrations to the key stations. We do not actually utilize integrations that much, but the one we use the maximum is using Slack. Slack is the main communication tool in our business, we use it on a daily basis and included most of our resources already – so we focused on how they operate and function with Slack. We tested some of them and many are actually working quite well. We found one that has enormous delays when messaging from and to Slack that was a no-go for us. We reported that issue to them, but we don’t know if they changed it because we left six months ago. Together with Crisp the integration worked instantly, notifications arrived immediately and the entire set-up was done in a few minutes.
What is Crisp?
“Crisp is the simplest way To speak with your customers. From sales to client support, Crisp is designed to maintain your workflow simple. From live chat to email, Crisp offers one station to answer to your users using a simple team inbox where you can handle all your user queries.”
From our experience, Crisp really Ships with all the focus on such chat experience for the clients. That is exactly what we were searching for as we evaluated other solutions.
This one is tricky. If you browse The last few points you noticed that we compared the lower tier programs and feature with the highest tier plans, some are economical at the beginning and be expensive as you use them. After using Crisp for six months today, and changed from a competitor because of that pricey”end” and those feature we didn’t need but would have to cover. We are pleased to say that we believe we got the best fit for us, perhaps it will fit as nicely for you. We found that the list of 8 aspects above is all you need to find your best match.
We made contact with unbelievable great people (thank You!) And businesses all around the globe. We might have had the exact same experience with other live chats as well, but the price combined with the attribute set Crisp does offer, we’d and already do recommend it to all of clients that are searching for a live chat themselves. We’ve upgraded to the Crisp endless plan a while ago, and are glad that we made that decision.
