Why choose Crisp? Im A Pro
In this article I’ll cover our Expertise with Crisp, why we changed, and the way you can make the right choice for your company and startup too. You will understand how to compare live chats and which metrics could be significant for you too. Im A Pro
How was that selection made?
Taking a Look at the market leaders With live chat feature out there, we found Crisp through Producthunt. After we have made a Spreadsheet with numerous live chat vendors, we identified that the core feature and metrics we were looking for.
What did we use before?
We have Used several other live chat earlier, which somehow shifted their attention from a live conversation to an”all in 1 company suite”. Their live chat still functions, but metrics which are important for us were eliminated. We’ve used those metrics for our monthly reports, and customer overviews, growth rates and much more. After we were in for four weeks those metrics disappeared and were replaced by other metrics. We have obtained a leaderboard for our team members, which we didn’t use because we’re searching for quality service and not quantity and the pricing seems to outperform the benefit. Our choice was clear at the moment: we had to move on.
We found 14 times background, 30 days History and unlimited history (for higher plans this is common), here the cost scaling was interesting. All live chats we attempted had that attribute, some at higher price tags, others together with a badly executed search feature, therefore the history was not available. With Crisp, the boundless history is already available with their first paid plan, and it not only ships with a fair price tag, also their search works exceptionally well.
How many contacts do we need?
We tried to answer that Question with another question”how many clients will chat with us?” – and that has been wrong – we made that mistake once. We can’t limit on the contacts we make because we really wish to earn contact with all of them. Unlimited contacts was what we were looking for (in an affordable price label ). What we discovered were chats with 100 active contacts for $0/month which was quite nice, we climbed up that a little to 1,000 active contacts and the price tag shifted from $0/m to ~$125/m or even more (~$500/m). We have had that experience of cost scaling for the majority of the solutions. As we did exactly the Exact Same contact metric test for Crisp we saw something different:
So at Crisp, you don’t scale by usage – that is enormous! They believe the same way we do in Storyblokwe don’t want to limit the user to the use of the machine (eg. Content entrances or entries ), we want to scale as their team scales. So at Crisp you choose a program and you can scale the amounts from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or much more ) with exactly the exact same price tag.
Trigger events / messages
Automated triggers are Utilized to Send a specific message on predefined events, eg. “a guest is on precisely the same site for more than 30 seconds”. Those causes are a fantastic method to help your audience with questions they could have. We use it on our pricing page since from time to time there are open questions about our pricing, possibly something is not covered in the FAQ section. This part is available in all solutions we tested and largely available in the very first paid plan.
Possibility to send campaign emails
From Time to Time we send mails Utilizing our live chat. We think it’s a fantastic way to retarget our audience because we should have the ability to send relevant content according to some metrics those live chats offer. To be honest, we are not sending many emails, because we hate spam on our side. So we want to send specific emails to specific target groups and again: we really enjoy the execution in the Crisp client. It is simple and fulfilled our needs at a reasonable price tag.
Amount of agents
The broker chairs is kinda Intriguing, it’s something you can control. You could choose 1 account for the whole team (which can be cheap with the majority of solutions), or you could go for one seat for every team member. Since we want to get that personal approach to our customers the notion of using one accounts for the whole team was dropped immediately. We have begun to compare the very first paid program contrary to the majority of the high tier plans to see the way the price scales . The highest costs we discovered were about ~$155/m per chair where the range was somewhere from $15/m to this. We had a look at Crisp again and found their highest package has unlimited agents seats included. Also, their free strategy permitted 2 agents, which was excellent for analyzing. Im A Pro
Everybody enjoys integrations. Integrations into Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats provide integrations to the key stations. We don’t actually use integrations that much, but the one we use the maximum is with Slack. Slack is the main communication tool in our company, we use it on a daily basis and added the majority of our resources already – so we focused on how they operate and perform with Slack. We tested some of these and many are actually working very well. We found one that has enormous delays when messaging from and to Slack which was a no-go for all of us. We reported that difficulty to them, but we do not know whether they changed it since we left six months ago. With Crisp the integration worked immediately, notifications arrived immediately and the entire set-up was completed in a couple of minutes.
“Crisp is the simplest way To communicate with your customers. From sales to client service, Crisp is made to keep your workflow simple. From live chat to email, Crisp provides a single channel to answer to your users using a simple team inbox where you can manage all your user inquiries.”
From our experience, Crisp really Ships with the attention on such chat experience for your clients. That is exactly what we were searching for since we evaluated other solutions.
This one is tricky. If you browse The past few points you saw that we compared the lower grade plans and attribute together with the maximum tier plans, some are cheap at the beginning and become costly as you use them. After using Crisp for six months now, and changed from a competitor because of that expensive”ending” and those attribute we did not need but would have to cover. We are glad to state that we think we have the very best match for us, perhaps it will fit as well for you. We found that the list of 8 facets above is all you want to locate your own best fit.
We made contact with unbelievable great people (thank You!) And companies all over the globe. We could have had the exact same experience with other live discussions too, but the price tag combined with the feature set Crisp does provide, we’d and do recommend it to all of clients that are looking for a live discussion themselves. We’ve updated to the Crisp unlimited plan some time ago, and are thankful that we made that choice.
