Why choose Crisp? Im Service Name
In this article I’ll cover our Expertise with Crisp, why we changed, and how you can make the right decision for your business and startup too. You may know how to compare live talks and that metrics might be important for you also. Im Service Name
How was that choice made?
Taking a Look at the market leaders With live chat feature out there, we found Crisp through Producthunt. After we have made a Spreadsheet with multiple live chat sellers, we defined the core feature and metrics we were searching for.
What did we use previously?
We’ve Used several other live chat before, which somehow shifted their focus from a live chat to an”all in one business suite”. Their live chat still works, but metrics which are important for us were eliminated. We have used those metrics for our monthly reports, and client overviews, growth rates and more. After we were in for four weeks those metrics disappeared and were replaced with other metrics. We’ve got a leaderboard for our team members, which we didn’t use because we are looking for quality service rather than quantity and the pricing seems to outperform the advantage. Our decision was clear at the moment: we needed to proceed.
We found 14 days background, 30 days History and unlimited history (for greater plans this is common), here the cost scaling was intriguing. All live chats we tried had this feature, a few at higher price tagsothers combined with a badly implemented search feature, and so the history was not available. Together with Crisp, the boundless history is already available with their original paid program, and it not only ships with a reasonable price tag, but also their hunt works astoundingly well.
How many contacts do we need?
We attempted to answer that Question with another question”how many clients will talk with us” – and that has been wrong – we made that mistake already once. We can’t limit on the connections we make because we really want to make contact with all of them. Endless contacts was what we were searching for (in a reasonable price label ). What we discovered were chats with 100 active contacts for $0/month that was quite nice, we scaled up that a bit to 1,000 active contacts along with the price tag switched from $0/m to ~$125/m or even more (~$500/m). We’ve had that experience of price scaling for most of the solutions. As we did exactly the same contact metric test for Crisp we watched something different:
So at Crisp, you don’t scale by use – which is enormous! They think the same way we do at Storyblokwe do not want to limit the consumer to the use of this machine (eg. Content entries or entries ), we want to scale as their staff scales. So at Crisp you choose a plan and you can scale the numbers from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or much more ) with exactly the same price tag.
Trigger events / communications
Automated triggers are used to Send a particular message on predefined events, eg. “a visitor is on precisely the same website for over 30 seconds”. Those causes are a fantastic method to help your audience with questions they could have. We use it on our pricing page since from time to time there are open questions regarding our pricing, maybe something isn’t covered in the FAQ section. This part can be found in all solutions we tested and mainly available in the very first paid plan.
Ability to send campaign emails
From Time to Time we send emails Utilizing our live chat. We think it’s a fantastic way to retarget our viewers because we should be able to send relevant content according to some metrics those live talks provide. To be honest, we are not sending many emails, because we also hate spam on our side. So we like to send certain emails to specific target groups and again: we really enjoy the execution in the Crisp client. It is simple and fulfilled our needs at a sensible price tag.
Amount of agents
The broker seats is rather Intriguing, it’s something you can control. You could choose 1 account for the whole team (which can be cheap with most solutions), or you might go for one chair for each team member. Since we like to have that personal approach to our clients the notion of using one accounts for the entire team was dropped immediately. We have begun to compare the first paid program contrary to most of the high tier programs to see how the cost scales again. The highest prices we found were approximately ~$155/m per seat where the scope was somewhere from $15/m to this. We had a peek at Crisp again and saw their greatest bundle has unlimited agents chairs included. Also, their free plan permitted 2 agents, which was excellent for testing. Im Service Name
Everybody loves integrations. Integrations into Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats offer integrations to the main stations. We do not actually use integrations that much, but the one we use the maximum is using Slack. Slack is the principal communication tool in our business, we use it on a daily basis and added most of our tools – so we concentrated on how they operate and function together with Slack. We analyzed some of these and many are actually working very well. We found one which has huge delays when messaging from and to Slack that was a no-go for us. We reported that difficulty to these, but we don’t know whether they changed it since we left six months ago. With Crisp the integration worked instantly, notifications came immediately and the entire setup was completed in a couple of minutes.

“Crisp is the simplest way To speak with your clients. From sales to customer service, Crisp is made to keep your workflow easy. From live chat to email, Crisp provides a single channel to reply to your users employing a simple team inbox where you are able to handle all your user queries.”
From our experience, Crisp actually Ships with the focus on that chat experience for the customers. That is exactly what we were looking for as we evaluated other alternatives.
This one is tricky. If you browse The last few points you noticed that we contrasted the lower grade plans and attribute with the highest tier programs, some are economical at the start and be costly as you use them. After using Crisp for six months now, and changed from a competitor because of the pricey”ending” and those feature we didn’t need but would need to cover. We are glad to state that we believe we got the very best match for us, maybe it will fit as well for you. We found that the listing of 8 facets above is all you need to locate your own best match.
We made contact with incredible great people (thank You!) And businesses all around the world. We might have had the same experience with other live discussions as well, but the price tag combined with the feature set Crisp does offer, we’d and already do recommend it to all clients that are searching for a live chat themselves. We’ve updated to the Crisp unlimited plan some time ago, and are glad that we made that decision.
