Why Select Crisp? It Status Page
In this article I’ll cover our Experience with Crisp, the reason we switched, and the way you can make the right choice for your business and startup too. You may know how to compare live chats and which metrics might be important for you too. It Status Page
How was that selection made?
Taking a Look at the market leaders With live chat feature on the market, we found Crisp via Producthunt. After we’ve created a Spreadsheet with numerous live chat sellers, we identified that the core feature and metrics we were searching for.
What did we use before?
We have Used several other live chat earlier, which somehow shifted their focus from a live chat to an”all in 1 company suite”. Their live chat still works, but metrics which are significant for us were eliminated. We’ve used those metrics for our yearly reports, and client overviews, growth rates and much more. After we had been in for four weeks those metrics disappeared and were replaced by other metrics. We have obtained a leaderboard for our team members, which we did not use because we are looking for quality support and not quantity as well as the pricing appears to outperform the benefit. Our decision was apparent at the moment: we had to proceed.
We found 14 times history, 30 days History and history (for higher plans that this is common), also here the cost scaling was interesting. All live talks we attempted had this attribute, some at higher price tagsothers together with a poorly implemented search feature, therefore the background wasn’t available. With Crisp, the unlimited history is currently available with their original paid plan, and it not only ships with a reasonable price tag, also their hunt works exceptionally well.
How many contacts do we want?
First, we attempted to answer that Question with another question”how many clients will chat with us?” – and that was incorrect – we made that mistake once. We can’t restrict on the connections we create because we really wish to make contact with them all. Endless contacts was exactly what we were searching for (in an affordable price label ). What we found were discussions with 100 active contacts for $0/month which was quite pleasant, we climbed that up a little to 1,000 active contacts and the price tag switched from $0/m to ~$125/m or more (~$500/m). We have had that experience of cost scaling for most of the solutions. As we did the same contact metric test for Crisp we saw something different:
So at Crisp, you don’t scale by use – which is huge! They believe the identical way we do in Storyblokwe do not want to restrict the user to the usage of this system (eg. Content entries or contacts), we want to scale as their staff scales. So at Crisp you select a plan and you may scale the numbers from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or much more ) with exactly the same price tag.
Trigger events / messages
Automated triggers are Utilized to Send a particular message on predefined events, eg. “a guest is on the exact same website for over 30 seconds”. Those causes are a good method to help your audience with queries they could have. We use it on our pricing page because from time to time there are open questions about our pricing, possibly something isn’t covered in the FAQ section. This part can be found in all solutions we tested and mainly available in the first paid plan.
Possibility to send campaign messages
From time to time we send emails Using our live chat. We think that it’s a fantastic way to retarget our audience because we should have the ability to send relevant content based on some metrics people live chats offer. To be honest, we are not sending many mails, because we also hate spam on our side. So we like to send specific mails to particular target groups and : we really enjoy the execution in the Crisp customer. It is simple and satisfied our needs at a sensible price tag.
Number of agents
The broker seats is rather Interesting, it is something that you can control. You could choose 1 accounts for the entire team (which can be cheap with the majority of options ), or you could go for a single chair for each team member. Since we want to get that personal approach to our customers the idea of using one account for the whole team was dropped immediately. We have begun to compare the very first paid program against the majority of the high tier plans to see the way the cost scales . The greatest prices we found were about ~$155/m per chair where the range was somewhere from $15/m to that. We had a look at Crisp again and found their highest package has unlimited agents seats included. Also, their free strategy permitted 2 agents, which was great for analyzing. It Status Page
Everybody enjoys integrations. Integrations into Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats offer integrations to the key channels. We do not actually use integrations that much, but the one we use the most is with Slack. Slack is the principal communication tool in our company, we utilize it on a daily basis and included most of our tools – so we focused on how they work and function together with Slack. We tested some of these and most are actually working very well. We found one which has enormous delays when messaging from and also to Slack that was a no-go for all of us. We reported that issue to them, but we don’t know whether they changed it since we left six months ago. With Crisp the integration worked instantly, notifications came immediately and the entire set-up was completed in a few minutes.
What is Crisp?
“Crisp is the simplest way To communicate with your clients. From sales to customer service, Crisp is designed to maintain your workflow easy. From live chat to email, Crisp offers a single station to reply to your users using a simple team inbox where you can manage all of your user queries.”
From our experience, Crisp actually Ships with the attention on such chat experience for your customers. That is exactly what we were looking for since we evaluated other solutions.
This one is tricky. If you read The past few points you saw that we compared the lower tier plans and attribute with the maximum tier programs, some are economical at the start and become expensive as you use them. After using Crisp for six months now, and switched from a competition because of the pricey”ending” and those attribute we did not need but might need to pay for. We are glad to say that we believe we got the best fit for us, perhaps it will fit as nicely for you. We found the listing of 8 aspects above is all you want to locate your best fit.
We made contact with unbelievable Fantastic people (thank You!) And businesses all around the world. We might have had the same experience with other live chats too, but the price tag combined with the attribute set Crisp does offer, we’d and do recommend it to all of clients who are looking for a live chat . We have updated to the Crisp endless plan a while ago, and are glad we made that choice.
