Why choose Crisp? Link Messenger
In this article I’ll cover our Expertise with Crisp, why we switched, and the way you can make the right decision for your business and startup as well. You will understand how to compare live talks and that metrics could be important for you also. Link Messenger
How was that decision made?
Looking at the market leaders With live chat feature out there, we found Crisp through Producthunt. After we have created a Spreadsheet with numerous live chat vendors, we identified that the core feature and metrics we were looking for.
What did we use before?
We’ve Used several other live chat before, which somehow shifted their attention from a live conversation to a”all in 1 business suite”. Their live chat still functions, but metrics which are important for us were removed. We have used those metrics for our monthly reports, and customer overviews, growth rates and much more. After we were in for four months those metrics disappeared and were replaced by other metrics. We have obtained a leaderboard for our staff members, which we did not use because we’re looking for quality service rather than quantity as well as the pricing seems to outperform the advantage. Our choice was apparent at the moment: we needed to move on.
We found 14 times background, 30 days History and unlimited history (for higher plans that this is common), also here the price scaling was intriguing. All live chats we tried had this feature, a few at higher price tags, others together with a badly implemented search feature, therefore the background was not available. Together with Crisp, the boundless history is currently available with their first paid plan, and it not only ships with a reasonable price tag, also their hunt works exceptionally well.
How many connections do we want?
First, we attempted to answer that Question with another question”how many clients will talk with us” – and that was wrong – we made that mistake once. We can’t restrict on the contacts we make because we actually want to make contact with all of them. Endless contacts was exactly what we were looking for (at a reasonable price tag). What we discovered were discussions with 100 active contacts for $0/month that was quite pleasant, we scaled that up a bit to 1,000 active contacts along with the price tag switched from $0/m to ~$125/m or more (~$500/m). We’ve had that experience of price scaling for the majority of the solutions. As we did the Exact Same contact metric test for Crisp we watched something different:
So at Crisp, you don’t scale by use – that is enormous! They think the identical way we do in Storyblokwe don’t wish to limit the consumer to the use of the system (eg. Content entries or entries ), we want to scale because their team scales. So at Crisp you select a program and you can scale the numbers from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or more) with exactly the exact same price tag.
Trigger events / messages
Automated triggers are used to Send a particular message on predefined events, eg. “a visitor is on precisely the same site for more than 30 seconds”. Those causes are a good way to help your audience with queries they may have. We use it on our pricing page because from time to time there are open questions about our pricing, maybe something is not covered in the FAQ section. This component can be found in most options we tested and mainly available in the very first paid plan.
Possibility to send campaign messages
From Time to Time we send mails Using our live chat. We think that it’s a good way to retarget our audience because we should be able to send relevant content according to some metrics people live chats provide. To be honest, we’re not sending many mails, because we hate spam on the side. Therefore we like to send certain emails to specific target groups and again: we really enjoy the implementation in the Crisp customer. It is straightforward and fulfilled our needs at a reasonable price tag.
Amount of brokers
The agent seats is kinda Intriguing, it is something that you can control. You could choose 1 account for the whole team (which can be cheap with the majority of solutions), or you could go for a single seat for each team member. Since we want to get this personal approach to our customers the notion of using one accounts for the whole team was dropped immediately. We’ve begun to compare the very first paid plan against the majority of the high tier plans to see how the price scales again. The greatest costs we found were about ~$155/m per chair where the scope was somewhere from $15/m to this. We had a look at Crisp again and found that their highest bundle has unlimited agents chairs included. Also, their free strategy allowed 2 representatives, which was great for testing. Link Messenger
Everybody loves integrations. Integrations to Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats offer integrations to the main stations. We don’t actually use integrations that much, but the one we use the most is with Slack. Slack is the main communication tool in our business, we use it on a daily basis and included the majority of our tools – so we focused on how they work and function together with Slack. We tested some of them and most are actually working very well. We found one that has huge delays when messaging from and also to Slack that was a no-go for us. We reported that issue to them, but we do not know whether they changed it because we left six months ago. Together with Crisp the integration worked immediately, notifications arrived immediately and the whole setup was done in a couple of minutes.
“Crisp is the simplest way To speak with your customers. From sales to client service, Crisp is made to maintain your workflow simple. From live chat to email, Crisp provides a single channel to reply to your users employing a very simple team inbox where you can manage all of your user inquiries.”
From our experience, Crisp really Ships with all the attention on that chat experience for the clients. Which is exactly what we were looking for as we evaluated other alternatives.
This one is tricky. If you read The last few points you saw that we contrasted the lower grade plans and attribute with the maximum tier plans, some are cheap at the start and be expensive as you use them. After using Crisp for six months now, and switched from a competitor because of that pricey”end” and those attribute we didn’t need but would have to pay for. We are glad to say that we believe we got the very best fit for us, maybe it will fit as well for you. We saw that the listing of 8 aspects above is all you need to locate your own best fit.
We made contact with unbelievable great people (thank You!) And companies all around the globe. We might have had the same experience with other live chats too, but the price tag combined with the feature set Crisp does offer, we’d and already do recommend it to all clients that are searching for a live chat themselves. We’ve upgraded to the Crisp unlimited plan a while ago, and are glad that we made that decision.
