Why Select Crisp? Live Chat Client
In this article I’ll cover our Expertise with Crisp, why we switched, and how you can make the right decision for your company and startup as well. You may understand how to compare live talks and that metrics could be significant for you also. Live Chat Client
How was that decision made?
Looking at the market leaders With live chat feature out there, we also found Crisp via Producthunt. After we have made a Spreadsheet with numerous live chat sellers, we defined the core attribute and metrics we were searching for.
What did we use previously?
We’ve Used multiple other live chat before, which shifted their attention from a live conversation to a”all in one company suite”. Their live chat still functions, but metrics which are important for us were eliminated. We have used those metrics for our yearly reports, and customer overviews, growth rates and more. After we had been in for four months those metrics vanished and were replaced by other metrics. We have obtained a leaderboard for our staff members, which we didn’t use because we are looking for quality service rather than quantity and the pricing seems to outperform the advantage. Our decision was apparent at that moment: we had to move on.
We found 14 times background, 30 days History and history (for higher plans this is common), also here the price scaling was intriguing. All live chats we attempted had that feature, a few at higher price tags, others together with a badly implemented search feature, therefore the history wasn’t available. With Crisp, the boundless history is already available with their first paid program, and it not only ships with a fair price tag, but also their search works exceptionally well.
How many contacts do we want?
First, we tried to answer that Question with another question”how many clients will talk with us” – and that was incorrect – we made that mistake once. We can’t limit on the contacts we create because we really wish to make contact with them all. Unlimited contacts was exactly what we were looking for (at an affordable price label ). What we discovered were chats with 100 active contacts for $0/month that was quite pleasant, we climbed that up a little to 1,000 active contacts and the price tag shifted from $0/m to ~$125/m or more (~$500/m). We have had that experience of cost scaling for the majority of the solutions. As we did the same contact metric evaluation for Crisp we watched something different:
So at Crisp, you don’t scale by usage – that is huge! They believe the same way we do at Storyblok, we do not want to restrict the user to the use of this machine (eg. Content entrances or contacts), we want to scale as their team scales. So at Crisp you select a program and you may scale the numbers from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or more) with exactly the exact same price tag.
Trigger events / messages
Automated triggers are used to Send a specific message on predefined events, eg. “a visitor is on precisely the exact same site for more than 30 seconds”. Those triggers are a good way to help your audience with questions they may have. We use it on our pricing page because from time to time there are open questions regarding our pricing, maybe something is not covered in the FAQ section. This part can be found in most solutions we tested and largely available in the first paid plan.
Possibility to send campaign emails
From time to time we send emails Utilizing our live chat. We think it’s a fantastic way to retarget our audience because we should have the ability to send pertinent content according to some metrics those live chats offer. To be honest, we’re not sending many mails, because we hate spam on our side. Therefore we like to send certain emails to specific target groups and : we really enjoy the execution in the Crisp customer. It’s simple and satisfied our needs at a sensible price tag.
Number of brokers
The broker seats is kinda Interesting, it’s something you can control. You could choose one account for the entire group (which is cheap with most solutions), or you might go for a single seat for each team member. Since we like to get this personal approach to our clients the notion of using one accounts for the whole group was dropped immediately. We have started to compare the first paid program against most of the high tier plans to observe how the price scales . The greatest costs we discovered were approximately ~$155/m per seat where the range was somewhere from $15/m to that. We had a peek at Crisp again and found that their highest bundle has unlimited agents seats included. Additionally, their free plan allowed 2 representatives, which was great for analyzing. Everybody loves integrations. Integrations to Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats provide integrations into the key channels. We do not actually use integrations that much, but the one we use the maximum is using Slack. Slack is the principal communication tool in our business, we use it on a daily basis and added the majority of our resources – so we concentrated on how they work and function together with Slack. We analyzed some of them and many are actually working very well. We found one that has huge delays when messaging from and also to Slack that was a no-go for us. We reported that difficulty to them, but we don’t know if they changed it because we left six months ago. With Crisp the integration worked immediately, notifications came immediately and the whole set-up was completed in a couple of minutes.

“Crisp is the simplest way To speak with your customers. From sales to client service, Crisp is designed to maintain your workflow simple. From live chat to email, Crisp offers one channel to answer to your users using a simple team inbox where you are able to manage all your user inquiries.”
From our experience, Crisp actually Ships with the attention on such chat experience for your customers. That is precisely what we were looking for since we evaluated other alternatives.
This one is tricky. If you browse The past few points you noticed that we compared the lower tier programs and feature together with the maximum tier programs, some are cheap at the start and be expensive as you use them. After using Crisp for six months now, and switched from a competitor because of that expensive”ending” and those feature we didn’t need but would need to cover. We’re glad to say that we think we got the best fit for us, maybe it will fit as well for you. We saw that the list of 8 aspects above is all you want to locate your best fit.
We made contact with unbelievable Fantastic people (thank You!) And businesses all around the world. We could have had the same experience with other live discussions as well, but the price combined with the attribute set Crisp does offer, we’d and already do recommend it to all of customers that are looking for a live chat themselves.
