Why Select Crisp? Live Chat Embed
In this article I’ll cover our Experience with Crisp, the reason we changed, and how it is possible to make the perfect choice for your company and startup as well. You will know how to compare live talks and that metrics could be significant for you also. Live Chat Embed
How was that choice made?
Looking at the market leaders With live chat feature out there, we also found Crisp via Producthunt. After we have made a Spreadsheet with multiple live chat sellers, we defined the core attribute and metrics we were looking for.
What did we use previously?
We’ve Used several other live chat before, which somehow shifted their focus from a live chat to a”all in one business suite”. Their live chat still functions, but metrics which are significant for us were removed. We have used those metrics for our yearly reports, and client overviews, growth rates and more. After we were in for four months those metrics vanished and were replaced with other metrics. We have obtained a leaderboard for our team members, which we didn’t use because we’re searching for quality support and not quantity and the pricing seems to outperform the advantage. So our choice was apparent at that moment: we had to proceed.
We found 14 times background, 30 days History and history (for higher plans that this is common), also here the price scaling was interesting. All live talks we attempted had this attribute, some at higher price tags, others together with a poorly implemented search feature, and so the background wasn’t available. With Crisp, the boundless history is currently available with their first paid program, and it not only ships with a fair price tag, but also their hunt works astoundingly well.
How many contacts do we need?
We attempted to answer that Question with another question”how many clients will chat with us?” – and that was wrong – we made that mistake once. We can not limit on the contacts we create because we really wish to make contact with them all. Unlimited contacts was what we were looking for (at a reasonable price label ). What we discovered were discussions with 100 active contacts for $0/month that was quite nice, we climbed that up a little to 1,000 active contacts and the price tag shifted from $0/m to ~$125/m or even more (~$500/m). We’ve had that experience of price scaling for most of the solutions. As we did exactly the Exact Same contact metric test for Crisp we saw something different:
So at Crisp, you don’t scale by use – which is huge! They think the identical way we do in Storyblokwe do not wish to limit the user to the usage of this machine (eg. Content entries or contacts), we want to scale because their team scales. So at Crisp you select a program and you can scale the numbers from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or more) with the exact same price tag.
Trigger events / messages
Automated triggers are used to Send a specific message on predefined events, eg. “a guest is on the same site for more than 30 seconds”. Those triggers are a fantastic way to help your viewers with queries they could have. We use it on our pricing page since from time to time there are open questions regarding our pricing, possibly something is not covered in the FAQ section. This part is available in most solutions we tested and largely available in the first paid plan.
Possibility to send campaign messages
From time to time we send emails Using our live chat. We think that it’s a good way to retarget our audience because we should have the ability to send pertinent content according to some metrics those live chats provide. In all honesty, we are not sending many mails, because we hate spam on the side. So we like to send specific emails to specific target groups and : we really like the implementation in the Crisp client. It’s simple and satisfied our needs at a reasonable price tag.
Amount of brokers
The broker seats is rather Intriguing, it’s something that you can control. You could choose one account for the entire group (which is cheap with the majority of solutions), or you could go for one chair for each team member. Since we like to get this personal approach to our customers the notion of using one accounts for the whole team was dropped immediately. We have started to compare the first paid plan contrary to the majority of the high tier programs to see the way the price scales again. The highest costs we found were about ~$155/m per seat where the scope was somewhere from $15/m to that. We had a peek at Crisp again and found their greatest bundle has unlimited agents chairs included. Also, their free strategy allowed 2 representatives, which was excellent for analyzing. Everybody enjoys integrations. Integrations into Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats offer integrations into the key channels. We don’t really utilize integrations that much, but the one we use the most is using Slack. Slack is the principal communication tool in our business, we use it on a daily basis and included most of our tools already – so we concentrated on how they operate and perform with Slack. We analyzed some of them and most are actually working quite well. We found one which has enormous delays when messaging from and to Slack which was a no-go for all of us. We reported that issue to them, but we don’t know whether they changed it because we left six months ago. With Crisp the integration worked instantly, notifications arrived immediately and the whole setup was done in a couple of minutes.
What is Crisp?
“Crisp is the simplest way To speak with your clients. From sales to client support, Crisp is made to maintain your workflow simple. From live chat to email, Crisp provides a single station to reply to your users using a simple team inbox where you can handle all of your user inquiries.”

This one is tricky. If you browse The past few points you saw that we contrasted the lower tier plans and attribute together with the highest tier plans, some are economical at the beginning and be expensive as you use them. After using Crisp for six months now, and changed from a competitor because of that pricey”end” and those feature we didn’t need but would have to pay for. We are glad to say we think we got the best fit for us, maybe it will fit as well for you. We found the listing of 8 facets above is all you want to find your best fit.
We made contact with unbelievable great people (thank You!) And companies all over the world. We might have had the same experience with other live chats too, but the price tag combined with the feature set Crisp does provide, we’d and already do recommend it to all clients that are searching for a live chat themselves. We have upgraded to the Crisp unlimited plan a while ago, and are thankful we made that choice.
