Why Select Crisp? Live Chat Software Chat Boxes
In this article I’ll cover our Experience with Crisp, why we switched, and how you can make the right choice for your company and startup as well. You may know how to compare live talks and that metrics could be significant for you also. Live Chat Software Chat Boxes
How was that selection made?
Looking at the market leaders With live chat feature out there, we found Crisp via Producthunt. After we have created a Spreadsheet with multiple live chat vendors, we identified that the core feature and metrics we were looking for.
What did we use before?
We’ve Used multiple other live chat before, which shifted their focus from a live conversation to an”all in 1 company suite”. Their live chat still works, but metrics which are significant for us were eliminated. We have used those metrics for our yearly reports, and customer overviews, growth rates and more. After we had been in for four weeks those metrics vanished and were replaced by other metrics. We’ve got a leaderboard for our staff members, which we did not use because we’re looking for quality support rather than quantity and the pricing appears to outperform the advantage. Our choice was apparent at that moment: we had to move on.
We found 14 times background, 30 days History and unlimited history (for greater plans that this is common), also here the cost scaling was interesting. All live talks we attempted had this attribute, a few at higher price tagsothers combined with a badly implemented search feature, therefore the history was not available. Together with Crisp, the unlimited history is already available with their original paid plan, and it not only ships with a reasonable price tag, but also their hunt works exceptionally well.
How many contacts do we want?
First, we attempted to answer that Question with another question”how many customers will talk with us?” – and that was incorrect – we made that mistake once. We can not restrict on the contacts we create because we really wish to earn contact with them all. Unlimited contacts was what we were searching for (at a reasonable price label ). What we found were chats with 100 active contacts for $0/month that was quite nice, we scaled that up a bit to 1,000 active contacts and the price tag shifted from $0/m to ~$125/m or even more (~$500/m). We have had that experience of cost scaling for most of the solutions. As we did the same contact metric test for Crisp we saw something different:
So at Crisp, you do not scale by use – that is enormous! They believe the identical way we do in Storyblokwe do not wish to limit the user to the use of the machine (eg. Content entrances or contacts), we want to scale because their staff scales. So at Crisp you choose a program and you may scale the amounts from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or much more ) with the exact same price tag.
Trigger events / communications
Automated triggers are used to Send a specific message on predefined events, eg. “a guest is on precisely the exact same site for more than 30 seconds”. Those triggers are a good method to help your viewers with queries they may have. We use it on our pricing page since from time to time there are open questions regarding our pricing, possibly something isn’t covered in the FAQ section. This part is available in all solutions we tested and largely available in the first paid program.
Ability to send campaign messages
From time to time we send mails Utilizing our live chat. We think that it’s a fantastic way to retarget our viewers because we ought to be able to send relevant content based on some metrics people live talks provide. In all honesty, we’re not sending many emails, because we hate spam on our side. Therefore we want to send certain mails to particular target groups and : we really enjoy the execution in the Crisp customer. It’s simple and satisfied our needs at a sensible price tag.
Number of brokers
The agent seats is rather Intriguing, it’s something that you can control. You could choose one account for the whole team (which can be cheap with most options ), or you could go for one seat for each team member. Since we want to have this personal approach to our clients the notion of using one account for the entire team was dropped immediately. We’ve begun to compare the first paid plan contrary to most of the high tier plans to see how the price scales again. The greatest prices we discovered were approximately ~$155/m per chair where the range was somewhere from $15/m to that. We had a peek at Crisp again and found their greatest package has unlimited agents chairs included. Additionally, their free strategy allowed 2 agents, which was excellent for analyzing. Everybody loves integrations. Integrations to Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats provide integrations into the main channels. We don’t actually utilize integrations that much, but the one we use the most is with Slack. Slack is the principal communication tool in our company, we use it on a daily basis and included the majority of our resources already – so we focused on how they operate and perform with Slack. We analyzed some of these and many are actually working very well. We found one that has enormous delays when messaging from and to Slack which was a no-go for us. We reported that issue to these, but we don’t know whether they changed it since we left six months ago. Together with Crisp the integration worked instantly, notifications came immediately and the whole set-up was completed in a few minutes.
“Crisp is the simplest way To speak with your clients. From sales to client service, Crisp is designed to keep your workflow simple. From live chat to email, Crisp offers one channel to reply to your users employing a simple team inbox where you are able to manage all your user inquiries.”
From our experience, Crisp actually Ships with all the focus on that chat experience for your clients. Which is exactly what we were looking for as we evaluated other alternatives.
This one is tricky. If you read The last few things you saw that we compared the lower tier programs and attribute with the maximum tier programs, some are cheap at the start and become costly as you use them. After using Crisp for six months today, and switched from a competitor because of that pricey”end” and those feature we did not need but would need to pay for. We’re pleased to state we believe we have the best match for us, maybe it will fit as well for you. We saw that the listing of 8 aspects above is all you need to find your own best match.
We made contact with unbelievable great people (thank You!) And businesses all over the globe. We could have had exactly the exact same experience with other live chats as well, but the price combined with the feature set Crisp does offer, we’d and do recommend it to all of clients who are searching for a live discussion themselves. We’ve upgraded to the Crisp unlimited plan a while ago, and are glad that we made that decision.
