Why Select Crisp? Live Chat Software Communications Channel
In this article I’ll cover our Experience with Crisp, the reason we switched, and the way you can make the right choice for your company and startup too. You may know how to compare live talks and that metrics could be significant for you too. Live Chat Software Communications Channel
How was that decision made?
Looking at the market leaders With live chat feature out there, we also found Crisp through Producthunt. After we’ve made a Spreadsheet with multiple live chat vendors, we identified that the core attribute and metrics we were looking for.
What did we use before?
We’ve Used several other live chat earlier, which somehow shifted their attention from a live conversation to a”all in 1 company suite”. Their live chat still functions, but metrics that are significant for us were eliminated. We’ve used those metrics for our yearly reports, and customer overviews, growth rates and much more. After we were in for four weeks those metrics vanished and were replaced with other metrics. We have got a leaderboard for our team members, which we didn’t use because we are looking for quality service rather than quantity and the pricing appears to outperform the benefit. So our choice was apparent at the moment: we needed to move on.
We found 14 days history, 30 days History and unlimited history (for higher plans that this is common), also here the cost scaling was intriguing. All live chats we tried had this attribute, a few at higher price tags, others combined with a poorly executed search feature, therefore the history wasn’t accessible. With Crisp, the boundless history is already available with their original paid program, and it not only ships with a reasonable price tag, also their hunt works astoundingly well.
How many connections do we need?
We tried to answer that Question with another question”how many clients will chat with us” – and that has been wrong – we made that mistake once. We can’t limit on the connections we create because we actually wish to earn contact with them all. Endless contacts was exactly what we were looking for (at an affordable price label ). What we discovered were chats with 100 active contacts for $0/month which was quite pleasant, we scaled up that a bit to 1,000 active contacts and the price tag shifted from $0/m to ~$125/m or even more (~$500/m). We have had that experience of price scaling for the majority of the solutions. As we did exactly the Exact Same contact metric test for Crisp we saw something different:
So at Crisp, you do not scale by use – which is huge! They think the same way we do at Storyblokwe don’t wish to restrict the consumer to the usage of this system (eg. Content entrances or contacts), we want to scale as their staff scales. So at Crisp you select a plan and you may scale the amounts from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or more) with the same price tag.
Trigger events / communications
Automated triggers are used to Send a particular message on predefined events, eg. “a visitor is on precisely the exact same website for over 30 seconds”. Those causes are a good method to help your audience with questions they may have. We use it on our pricing page since from time to time there are open questions about our pricing, possibly something is not covered in the FAQ section. This component is available in most solutions we tested and largely available in the very first paid program.
Ability to send campaign emails
From Time to Time we send emails Using our live chat. We think that it’s a good way to retarget our audience because we should be able to send pertinent content based on some metrics those live talks provide. To be honest, we are not sending many mails, because we hate spam on our side. So we want to send certain mails to specific target groups and again: we really enjoy the execution in the Crisp client. It’s straightforward and satisfied our needs at a sensible price tag.
Number of agents
The broker seats is kinda Interesting, it is something that you can control. You could choose 1 account for the whole team (which can be cheap with the majority of options ), or you might go for a single seat for each team member. Since we want to have this personal approach to our customers the idea of using one account for the whole team was dropped instantly. We’ve begun to compare the first paid program contrary to most of the high tier programs to see how the price scales again. The greatest costs we discovered were about ~$155/m per chair where the range was somewhere from $15/m to that. We had a look at Crisp again and found that their greatest bundle has unlimited agents seats included. Additionally, their free strategy allowed 2 agents, which was excellent for analyzing. Everybody loves integrations. Integrations to Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats offer integrations to the main channels. We do not really utilize integrations that much, but the one we use the maximum is using Slack. Slack is the principal communication tool in our company, we use it on a daily basis and added the majority of our tools – so we focused on how they work and perform with Slack. We tested some of these and most are actually working quite well. We found one which has enormous delays when messaging from and to Slack which was a no-go for all of us. We reported that issue to these, but we do not know if they changed it because we left six months ago. Together with Crisp the integration worked immediately, notifications arrived immediately and the entire setup was completed in a few minutes.
“Crisp is the simplest way To speak with your clients. From sales to client support, Crisp is made to keep your workflow simple. From live chat to email, Crisp offers one station to reply to your users employing a simple team inbox where you can handle all of your user queries.”
From our experience, Crisp actually Ships with all the attention on such chat experience for your customers. Which is precisely what we were looking for since we evaluated other alternatives.
This one is tricky. If you read The past few things you noticed that we contrasted the lower grade plans and attribute with the highest tier programs, some are economical at the start and become costly as you use them. After using Crisp for six months now, and switched from a competitor because of that pricey”end” and those feature we did not need but might have to cover. We’re glad to state we think we have the very best fit for us, maybe it will fit as nicely for you. We saw that the list of 8 facets above is all you need to find your own best fit.
We made contact with unbelievable great people (thank You!) And companies all over the world. We might have had exactly the same experience with other live chats too, but the price combined with the feature set Crisp does provide, we’d and already do recommend it to all of clients that are looking for a live discussion themselves. We’ve upgraded to the Crisp unlimited plan some time ago, and are thankful we made that decision.
