Why choose Crisp? Live Chat Software Pure Chat
In this article I’ll cover our Experience with Crisp, why we changed, and how you can make the perfect decision for your company and startup as well. You will know how to compare live talks and that metrics might be important for you also. Live Chat Software Pure Chat
How was that choice made?
Looking at the market leaders With live chat feature on the market, we found Crisp via Producthunt. After we have made a Spreadsheet with multiple live chat vendors, we defined the core feature and metrics we were looking for.
What did we use previously?
We have Used multiple other live chat before, which shifted their attention from a live chat to an”all in 1 business suite”. Their live chat still works, but metrics that are significant for us were eliminated. We have used those metrics for our yearly reports, and client overviews, growth rates and much more. After we were in for four months those metrics disappeared and were replaced by other metrics. We have got a leaderboard for our team members, which we did not use because we are looking for quality service and not quantity as well as the pricing appears to outperform the advantage. Our decision was apparent at the moment: we needed to move on.
We found 14 times background, 30 days History and unlimited history (for higher plans this is common), here the price scaling was interesting. All live talks we attempted had that attribute, some at higher price tagsothers together with a poorly implemented search feature, and so the background was not available. Together with Crisp, the boundless history is already available with their original paid plan, and it not only ships with a reasonable price tag, but also their search works astoundingly well.
How many contacts do we want?
First, we attempted to answer that Question with another question”how many clients will chat with us?” – and that has been wrong – we made that mistake once. We can not restrict on the connections we make because we really want to make contact with all of them. Unlimited contacts was exactly what we were looking for (in an affordable price tag). What we found were discussions with 100 active contacts for $0/month that was quite nice, we climbed up that a bit to 1,000 active contacts along with the price tag shifted from $0/m to ~$125/m or more (~$500/m). We’ve had that experience of price scaling for the majority of the solutions. As we did the same contact metric evaluation for Crisp we watched something different:
So at Crisp, you do not scale by use – that is enormous! They think the same way we do at Storyblok, we do not wish to limit the consumer to the use of the system (eg. Content entrances or entries ), we want to scale because their staff scales. So at Crisp you select a plan and you may scale the amounts from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or more) with the same price tag.
Trigger events / messages
Automated triggers are used to Send a specific message on predefined events, eg. “a guest is on the same site for over 30 seconds”. Those triggers are a good way to help your audience with questions they may have. We use it on our pricing page since from time to time there are open questions regarding our pricing, possibly something isn’t covered in the FAQ section. This part is available in most options we tested and largely available in the first paid plan.
Possibility to send campaign messages
From time to time we send emails Utilizing our live chat. We think that it’s a fantastic way to retarget our viewers because we should have the ability to send pertinent content based on some metrics people live talks provide. In all honesty, we’re not sending many mails, because we also hate spam on our side. Therefore we want to send certain emails to particular target groups and again: we really enjoy the execution in the Crisp customer. It is simple and satisfied our needs at a reasonable price tag.
Amount of agents
The agent seats is kinda Intriguing, it’s something you can control. You could choose 1 accounts for the entire group (which can be cheap with the majority of solutions), or you could go for a single seat for every team member. Since we like to have that personal approach to our clients the notion of using one accounts for the whole team was dropped instantly. We’ve begun to compare the first paid program against the majority of the high tier plans to observe the way the cost scales . The highest prices we discovered were approximately ~$155/m per chair where the range was somewhere from $15/m to that. We had a peek at Crisp again and saw that their greatest bundle has unlimited agents seats included. Additionally, their free strategy permitted 2 agents, which was excellent for analyzing. Everybody loves integrations. Integrations to Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats provide integrations to the key channels. We do not actually utilize integrations that much, but the one we use the most is using Slack. Slack is the principal communication tool in our company, we utilize it on a daily basis and added most of our resources already – so we concentrated on how they work and function with Slack. We analyzed some of them and most are actually working very well. We found one which has enormous delays when messaging from and to Slack which was a no-go for us. We reported that issue to them, but we don’t know whether they changed it since we left six months ago. Together with Crisp the integration worked instantly, notifications came immediately and the whole set-up was done in a few minutes.
What is Crisp?
“Crisp is the simplest way To speak with your clients. From sales to customer service, Crisp is made to maintain your workflow easy. From live chat to email, Crisp provides one channel to reply to your users employing a simple team inbox where you can handle all your user queries.”
From our experience, Crisp really Ships with the focus on that chat experience for your clients. Which is precisely what we were looking for as we evaluated other alternatives.
This one is tricky. If you browse The past few things you noticed that we compared the lower tier plans and feature with the highest tier plans, some are economical at the start and become expensive as you use them. After using Crisp for six months now, and changed from a competition because of that expensive”ending” and those feature we did not need but might have to pay for. We are pleased to state that we think we have the very best match for us, maybe it will fit as nicely for you. We saw that the list of 8 aspects above is all you want to find your best match.
We made contact with unbelievable Fantastic people (thank You!) And businesses all over the world. We might have had the same experience with other live chats too, but the price tag combined with the attribute set Crisp does offer, we would and already do recommend it to all clients that are looking for a live discussion . We have upgraded to the Crisp endless plan a while ago, and are thankful we made that choice.
