Why choose Crisp? Live Chat Software Wiki
In this article I’ll cover our Experience with Crisp, why we changed, and the way you can make the perfect decision for your company and startup as well. You will understand how to compare live chats and which metrics could be significant for you also. Live Chat Software Wiki
How was that decision made?
Looking at the market leaders With live chat feature on the market, we found Crisp via Producthunt. After we have made a Spreadsheet with numerous live chat sellers, we defined the core attribute and metrics we were searching for.
What did we use previously?
We’ve Used several other live chat earlier, which somehow shifted their attention from a live chat to an”all in 1 company suite”. Their live chat still works, but metrics which are significant for us were eliminated. We have used those metrics for our yearly reports, and customer overviews, growth rates and more. After we were in for four weeks those metrics disappeared and were replaced by other metrics. We have got a leaderboard for our staff members, which we did not use because we are searching for quality support and not quantity as well as the pricing seems to outperform the benefit. So our choice was apparent at that moment: we had to move on.
We found 14 times background, 30 days History and history (for greater plans this is common), here the cost scaling was interesting. All live talks we tried had that attribute, some at higher price tagsothers together with a poorly executed search feature, and so the background wasn’t available. With Crisp, the unlimited history is already available with their first paid plan, and it not only ships with a reasonable price tag, also their hunt works exceptionally well.
How many connections do we want?
First, we tried to answer that Question with another question”how many clients will talk with us?” – and that has been incorrect – we made that mistake already once. We can’t limit on the contacts we create because we really wish to earn contact with them all. Unlimited contacts was what we were searching for (at a reasonable price label ). What we discovered were chats with 100 active contacts for $0/month which was quite nice, we climbed up that a little to 1,000 active contacts along with the price tag shifted from $0/m to ~$125/m or even more (~$500/m). We’ve had that experience of cost scaling for most of the solutions. As we did exactly the same contact metric evaluation for Crisp we watched something different:
So at Crisp, you don’t scale by use – which is huge! They think the identical way we do at Storyblok, we don’t want to restrict the user to the usage of this machine (eg. Content entries or entries ), we would like to scale because their staff scales. So at Crisp you choose a plan and you can scale the numbers from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or much more ) with exactly the same price tag.
Trigger events / communications
Automated triggers are used to Send a specific message on predefined events, eg. “a guest is on the same website for over 30 seconds”. Those triggers are a fantastic method to help your viewers with questions they may have. We use it on our pricing page since from time to time there are open questions about our pricing, possibly something isn’t covered in the FAQ section. This part can be found in all solutions we tested and largely available in the first paid plan.
Possibility to send campaign emails
From Time to Time we send emails Utilizing our live chat. We think that it’s a fantastic way to retarget our viewers because we ought to be able to send relevant content according to some metrics those live chats provide. In all honesty, we are not sending many mails, because we hate spam on our side. Therefore we want to send specific mails to specific target groups and : we really enjoy the execution in the Crisp client. It is simple and satisfied our needs at a sensible price tag.
Amount of agents
The broker seats is rather Interesting, it is something that you can control. You could choose one accounts for the whole team (which can be cheap with most options ), or you could go for one chair for every team member. Since we like to have this personal approach to our customers the idea of using one account for the whole team was dropped instantly. We have started to compare the very first paid plan contrary to most of the high tier programs to observe how the price scales again. The greatest prices we discovered were approximately ~$155/m per chair where the range was somewhere from $15/m to this. We had a peek at Crisp again and found that their greatest bundle has unlimited agents seats included. Additionally, their free plan permitted 2 agents, which was great for testing. Everybody enjoys integrations. Integrations into Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats provide integrations to the key stations. We do not really use integrations that much, but the one we use the most is using Slack. Slack is the principal communication tool in our business, we utilize it on a daily basis and added most of our tools – so we concentrated on how they operate and perform together with Slack. We tested some of these and most are actually working very well. We found one that has huge delays when messaging from and to Slack that was a no-go for all of us. We reported that difficulty to them, but we do not know whether they changed it because we left six months ago. With Crisp the integration worked instantly, notifications came immediately and the entire setup was done in a few minutes.
“Crisp is the simplest way To speak with your clients. From sales to customer support, Crisp is made to keep your workflow easy. From live chat to email, Crisp provides one channel to reply to your users employing a very simple team inbox where you can handle all of your user inquiries.”
From our experience, Crisp really Ships with the attention on that chat experience for your clients. Which is exactly what we were searching for as we evaluated other alternatives.
This one is tricky. If you read The past few things you saw that we compared the lower grade programs and attribute with the highest tier programs, some are economical at the start and be costly as you use them. After using Crisp for six months today, and switched from a competition because of the pricey”end” and those attribute we didn’t need but would have to pay for. We’re pleased to state that we believe we got the best fit for us, maybe it will fit as well for you. We saw that the list of 8 facets above is all you need to find your own best match.
We made contact with unbelievable Fantastic people (thank You!) And businesses all around the world. We might have had exactly the same experience with other live chats as well, but the price combined with the feature set Crisp does offer, we’d and do recommend it to all of clients that are looking for a live chat themselves. We have updated to the Crisp endless plan some time ago, and are glad we made that choice.
