Why choose Crisp? Live Chat Software Zendesk Chat
In this article I’ll cover our Expertise with Crisp, why we changed, and how you can make the right decision for your business and startup as well. You will know how to compare live chats and which metrics might be significant for you too. Live Chat Software Zendesk Chat
How was that decision made?
Looking at the market leaders With live chat feature out there, we also found Crisp through Producthunt. After we have made a Spreadsheet with multiple live chat vendors, we defined the core attribute and metrics we were searching for.
What did we use before?
We have Used several other live chat earlier, which shifted their attention from a live chat to a”all in 1 business suite”. Their live chat still works, but metrics which are important for us were eliminated. We’ve used those metrics for our monthly reports, and customer overviews, growth rates and much more. After we had been in for four weeks those metrics disappeared and were replaced by other metrics. We’ve obtained a leaderboard for our team members, which we did not use because we’re searching for quality service rather than quantity and the pricing appears to outperform the benefit. Our choice was clear at the moment: we needed to proceed.
We found 14 times history, 30 days History and unlimited history (for greater plans that this is common), here the price scaling was intriguing. All live talks we attempted had this attribute, a few at higher price tagsothers together with a badly implemented search feature, and so the background wasn’t available. With Crisp, the boundless history is already available with their first paid plan, and it not only ships with a fair price tag, also their search works astoundingly well.
How many contacts do we need?
First, we attempted to answer that Question with another question”how many clients will talk with us” – and that has been incorrect – we made that mistake already once. We can’t limit on the contacts we make because we actually want to earn contact with them all. Unlimited contacts was what we were looking for (at an affordable price tag). What we found were chats with 100 active contacts for $0/month which was quite pleasant, we scaled up that a little to 1,000 active contacts along with the price tag shifted from $0/m to ~$125/m or even more (~$500/m). We’ve had that experience of price scaling for most of the solutions. As we did exactly the same contact metric evaluation for Crisp we watched something different:
So at Crisp, you don’t scale by use – that is huge! They think the same way we do in Storyblok, we don’t wish to restrict the user to the use of the system (eg. Content entrances or contacts), we want to scale because their team scales. So at Crisp you choose a program and you may scale the amounts from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or much more ) with the exact same price tag.
Trigger events / messages
Automated triggers are used to Send a specific message on predefined events, eg. “a visitor is on the same website for over 30 seconds”. Those causes are a good method to help your viewers with questions they could have. We use it on our pricing page because from time to time there are open questions about our pricing, maybe something is not covered in the FAQ section. This part is available in most options we tested and largely available in the very first paid plan.
Possibility to send campaign emails
From time to time we send mails Using our live chat. We think it’s a fantastic way to retarget our viewers because we should be able to send relevant content based on some metrics people live chats provide. To be honest, we’re not sending many emails, because we hate spam on the side. So we like to send specific mails to specific target groups and : we really like the execution in the Crisp customer. It’s simple and fulfilled our needs at a sensible price tag.
Amount of agents
The broker seats is kinda Interesting, it’s something that you can control. You could choose 1 accounts for the whole team (which is cheap with most options ), or you might go for one seat for each team member. Since we like to get this personal approach to our customers the notion of using one account for the entire group was dropped instantly. We’ve started to compare the first paid program contrary to most of the high tier programs to see the way the cost scales . The highest costs we discovered were approximately ~$155/m per chair where the range was somewhere from $15/m to that. We had a peek at Crisp again and saw their greatest bundle has unlimited agents seats included. Additionally, their free strategy permitted 2 representatives, which was excellent for analyzing. Everybody enjoys integrations. Integrations to Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats offer integrations to the main channels. We don’t actually utilize integrations that much, but the one we use the most is using Slack. Slack is the principal communication tool in our business, we use it on a daily basis and included most of our resources already – so we concentrated on how they operate and perform together with Slack. We tested some of these and many are actually working very well. We found one that has huge delays when messaging from and also to Slack that was a no-go for all of us. We reported that difficulty to them, but we do not know whether they changed it since we left six months ago. With Crisp the integration worked instantly, notifications came immediately and the entire set-up was done in a few minutes.
“Crisp is the simplest way To speak with your clients. From sales to client service, Crisp is designed to maintain your workflow easy. From live chat to email, Crisp offers a single channel to reply to your users using a very simple team inbox where you can manage all your user inquiries.”
From our experience, Crisp really Ships with all the attention on such chat experience for your customers. Which is exactly what we were looking for as we evaluated other alternatives.
This one is tricky. If you read The past few things you saw that we compared the lower grade programs and attribute with the highest tier programs, some are economical at the start and be costly as you use them. After using Crisp for six months today, and switched from a competition because of the expensive”end” and those feature we did not need but might have to cover. We are pleased to say that we believe we have the best match for us, maybe it will fit as nicely for you. We saw that the listing of 8 facets above is all you want to locate your own best match.
We made contact with unbelievable Fantastic people (thank You!) And companies all around the world. We could have had exactly the exact same experience with other live discussions too, but the price tag combined with the feature set Crisp does provide, we would and already do recommend it to all of clients that are looking for a live discussion . We have updated to the Crisp endless plan a while ago, and are thankful that we made that choice.
