Why choose Crisp? Live Chat Web
In this article I’ll cover our Expertise with Crisp, why we changed, and the way you can make the perfect decision for your company and startup as well. You will know how to compare live chats and which metrics might be important for you too. Live Chat Web
How was that choice made?
Looking at the market leaders With live chat feature on the market, we found Crisp via Producthunt. After we’ve made a Spreadsheet with multiple live chat sellers, we defined the core attribute and metrics we were looking for.
What did we use before?
We have Used several other live chat before, which shifted their attention from a live conversation to an”all in 1 business suite”. Their live chat still works, but metrics that are significant for us were removed. We’ve used those metrics for our monthly reports, and customer overviews, growth rates and much more. After we were in for four weeks those metrics disappeared and were replaced with other metrics. We’ve obtained a leaderboard for our team members, which we didn’t use because we are looking for quality support rather than quantity as well as the pricing appears to outperform the advantage. So our decision was clear at the moment: we needed to move on.
We found 14 days background, 30 days History and unlimited history (for higher plans that this is common), also here the price scaling was interesting. All live chats we tried had this attribute, a few at higher price tags, others combined with a poorly executed search feature, therefore the history was not accessible. With Crisp, the boundless history is already available with their first paid plan, and it not only ships with a reasonable price tag, also their hunt works exceptionally well.
How many contacts do we want?
First, we tried to answer that Question with another question”how many customers will talk with us” – and that has been wrong – we made that mistake already once. We can not restrict on the contacts we make because we really want to make contact with them all. Unlimited contacts was what we were looking for (at an affordable price label ). What we found were discussions with 100 active contacts for $0/month that was quite pleasant, we scaled up that a bit to 1,000 active contacts along with the price tag shifted from $0/m to ~$125/m or more (~$500/m). We’ve had that experience of price scaling for the majority of the solutions. As we did exactly the same contact metric test for Crisp we watched something different:
So at Crisp, you don’t scale by use – which is huge! They think the same way we do at Storyblok, we don’t want to limit the user to the use of the system (eg. Content entrances or entries ), we want to scale because their team scales. So at Crisp you choose a program and you can scale the numbers from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or more) with the same price tag.
Trigger events / messages
Automated triggers are used to Send a specific message on predefined events, eg. “a guest is on the exact same website for more than 30 seconds”. Those causes are a good method to help your viewers with questions they may have. We use it on our pricing page because from time to time there are open questions regarding our pricing, possibly something is not covered in the FAQ section. This component can be found in all solutions we tested and mainly available in the first paid plan.
Ability to send campaign messages
From time to time we send mails Utilizing our live chat. We think it’s a good way to retarget our viewers because we ought to have the ability to send relevant content according to some metrics those live chats offer. To be honest, we are not sending many mails, because we hate spam on our side. Therefore we want to send specific emails to particular target groups and : we really enjoy the execution in the Crisp client. It’s straightforward and fulfilled our needs at a sensible price tag.
Amount of brokers
The broker seats is rather Interesting, it’s something that you can control. You could choose 1 account for the whole group (which is cheap with most options ), or you could go for one seat for each team member. Since we want to get that personal approach to our customers the idea of using one accounts for the entire team was dropped instantly. We have begun to compare the first paid plan contrary to the majority of the high tier programs to see the way the price scales . The greatest prices we discovered were about ~$155/m per seat where the scope was somewhere from $15/m to that. We had a peek at Crisp again and found their highest package has unlimited agents chairs included. Additionally, their free plan permitted 2 agents, which was great for testing. Live Chat Web
Everybody enjoys integrations. Integrations to Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats offer integrations into the main stations. We don’t really use integrations that much, but the one we use the most is using Slack. Slack is the principal communication tool in our company, we use it on a daily basis and included the majority of our tools already – so we focused on how they operate and function with Slack. We tested some of them and most are actually working very well. We found one that has huge delays when messaging from and also to Slack which was a no-go for us. We reported that difficulty to these, but we do not know if they changed it since we left six months ago. Together with Crisp the integration worked instantly, notifications arrived immediately and the entire set-up was completed in a few minutes.
“Crisp is the simplest way To speak with your clients. From sales to customer support, Crisp is designed to keep your workflow easy. From live chat to email, Crisp provides a single station to reply to your users employing a very simple team inbox where you are able to manage all your user queries.”
From our experience, Crisp really Ships with the attention on that chat experience for the customers. Which is exactly what we were looking for since we evaluated other alternatives.
This one is tricky. If you read The past few things you noticed that we contrasted the lower tier plans and feature with the highest tier programs, some are cheap at the start and be expensive as you use them. After using Crisp for six months today, and changed from a competitor because of the pricey”end” and those feature we did not need but would need to pay for. We are glad to say we think we got the very best fit for us, maybe it will fit as well for you. We saw the listing of 8 aspects above is all you need to find your own best match.
We made contact with unbelievable great people (thank You!) And companies all over the world. We might have had the same experience with other live discussions too, but the price combined with the attribute set Crisp does provide, we would and already do recommend it to all of clients who are looking for a live chat . We’ve updated to the Crisp unlimited plan some time ago, and are glad we made that choice.
