Why choose Crisp? Live Discussion
In this article I’ll cover our Expertise with Crisp, why we changed, and the way you can make the right decision for your business and startup too. You may understand how to compare live talks and that metrics might be important for you also. Live Discussion
How was that decision made?
Looking at the market leaders With live chat feature out there, we also found Crisp via Producthunt. After we’ve made a Spreadsheet with numerous live chat sellers, we defined the core attribute and metrics we were looking for.
What did we use before?
We’ve Used several other live chat earlier, which shifted their focus from a live conversation to an”all in 1 company suite”. Their live chat still works, but metrics that are important for us were removed. We have used those metrics for our yearly reports, and client overviews, growth rates and more. After we were in for four weeks those metrics vanished and were replaced with other metrics. We have obtained a leaderboard for our staff members, which we didn’t use because we are looking for quality service rather than quantity as well as the pricing appears to outperform the benefit. Our decision was clear at that moment: we needed to move on.
We found 14 times background, 30 days History and history (for higher plans that this is common), also here the price scaling was interesting. All live chats we attempted had this feature, a few at higher price tagsothers together with a badly executed search feature, and so the background was not available. Together with Crisp, the boundless history is already available with their first paid plan, and it not only ships with a fair price tag, but also their hunt works astoundingly well.
How many contacts do we need?
We tried to answer that Question with another question”how many customers will chat with us?” – and that has been incorrect – we made that mistake once. We can’t restrict on the contacts we make because we actually want to make contact with them all. Unlimited contacts was exactly what we were looking for (in a reasonable price label ). What we found were discussions with 100 active contacts for $0/month that was quite nice, we scaled up that a little to 1,000 active contacts and the price tag shifted from $0/m to ~$125/m or even more (~$500/m). We have had that experience of price scaling for most of the solutions. As we did exactly the same contact metric test for Crisp we saw something different:
So at Crisp, you don’t scale by use – that is enormous! They think the same way we do at Storyblokwe don’t wish to limit the consumer to the use of the system (eg. Content entries or entries ), we want to scale because their team scales. So at Crisp you choose a plan and you may scale the amounts from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or more) with the exact same price tag.
Trigger events / communications
Automated triggers are Utilized to Send a specific message on predefined events, eg. “a visitor is on precisely the exact same site for over 30 seconds”. Those causes are a good way to help your audience with questions they may have. We use it on our pricing page since from time to time there are open questions about our pricing, possibly something isn’t covered in the FAQ section. This part can be found in all options we tested and mainly available in the first paid program.
Ability to send campaign messages
From Time to Time we send mails Using our live chat. We think it’s a fantastic way to retarget our viewers because we ought to have the ability to send pertinent content based on some metrics those live talks offer. To be honest, we’re not sending many mails, because we also hate spam on our side. So we like to send certain emails to particular target groups and : we really enjoy the implementation in the Crisp client. It is straightforward and fulfilled our needs at a reasonable price tag.
Number of agents
The agent seats is kinda Intriguing, it is something you can control. You could choose one account for the entire team (which can be cheap with most solutions), or you could go for one chair for each team member. Since we like to have this personal approach to our clients the idea of using one accounts for the whole team was dropped immediately. We have begun to compare the very first paid program contrary to the majority of the high tier plans to see the way the price scales again. The greatest costs we found were approximately ~$155/m per chair where the scope was somewhere from $15/m to this. We had a peek at Crisp again and saw that their highest package has unlimited agents chairs included. Also, their free strategy allowed 2 agents, which was great for analyzing. Live Discussion
Everybody loves integrations. Integrations into Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats provide integrations into the main stations. We don’t really use integrations that much, but the one we use the maximum is using Slack. Slack is the principal communication tool in our business, we use it on a daily basis and included the majority of our resources already – so we focused on how they operate and function with Slack. We analyzed some of these and many are actually working very well. We found one that has huge delays when messaging from and also to Slack which was a no-go for us. We reported that difficulty to them, but we do not know whether they changed it because we left six months ago. With Crisp the integration worked instantly, notifications came immediately and the whole set-up was done in a few minutes.
“Crisp is the simplest way To speak with your customers. From sales to customer support, Crisp is designed to maintain your workflow simple. From live chat to email, Crisp provides one station to reply to your users using a very simple team inbox where you can handle all of your user queries.”
From our experience, Crisp actually Ships with all the attention on such chat experience for the customers. That is exactly what we were searching for as we evaluated other solutions.
This one is tricky. If you browse The past few points you noticed that we compared the lower grade plans and feature together with the highest tier plans, some are cheap at the beginning and be expensive as you use them. After using Crisp for six months today, and switched from a competitor because of the pricey”ending” and those attribute we did not need but might have to pay for. We are pleased to state we think we have the very best fit for us, maybe it will fit as well for you. We found that the list of 8 facets above is all you want to find your best match.
We made contact with incredible great people (thank You!) And businesses all over the world. We might have had exactly the exact same experience with other live discussions too, but the price tag combined with the attribute set Crisp does provide, we’d and already do recommend it to all of customers that are searching for a live discussion . We have updated to the Crisp endless plan a while ago, and are glad that we made that choice.
