Why Select Crisp? Live Messenger Sign Up
In this article I’ll cover our Experience with Crisp, why we changed, and how it is possible to make the right decision for your business and startup as well. You may understand how to compare live chats and which metrics might be significant for you too. Live Messenger Sign Up
How was that choice made?
Taking a Look at the market leaders With live chat feature out there, we found Crisp through Producthunt. After we’ve made a Spreadsheet with multiple live chat sellers, we identified that the core attribute and metrics we were searching for.
What did we use before?
We’ve Used several other live chat before, which shifted their focus from a live conversation to an”all in 1 company suite”. Their live chat still functions, but metrics that are significant for us were removed. We’ve used those metrics for our monthly reports, and customer overviews, growth rates and more. After we had been in for four weeks those metrics vanished and were replaced with other metrics. We’ve got a leaderboard for our team members, which we did not use because we’re searching for quality service and not quantity and the pricing appears to outperform the benefit. Our choice was apparent at the moment: we had to proceed.
We found 14 times background, 30 days History and history (for higher plans this is common), here the cost scaling was interesting. All live talks we attempted had this attribute, a few at higher price tagsothers combined with a badly implemented search feature, and so the background wasn’t available. Together with Crisp, the boundless history is already available with their original paid program, and it not only ships with a fair price tag, also their search works exceptionally well.
How many connections do we need?
We attempted to answer that Question with another question”how many customers will talk with us” – and that has been incorrect – we made that mistake once. We can not restrict on the connections we make because we really want to make contact with them all. Unlimited contacts was exactly what we were looking for (in an affordable price tag). What we found were discussions with 100 active contacts for $0/month that was quite nice, we scaled up that a little to 1,000 active contacts along with the price tag switched from $0/m to ~$125/m or even more (~$500/m). We have had that experience of cost scaling for most of the solutions. As we did the Exact Same contact metric test for Crisp we watched something different:
So at Crisp, you do not scale by use – that is huge! They think the same way we do in Storyblokwe do not wish to limit the user to the usage of this system (eg. Content entrances or contacts), we want to scale because their team scales. So at Crisp you choose a plan and you can scale the amounts from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or much more ) with exactly the same price tag.
Trigger events / communications
Automated triggers are Utilized to Send a particular message on predefined events, eg. “a guest is on precisely the same site for more than 30 seconds”. Those causes are a good method to help your audience with questions they could have. We use it on our pricing page because from time to time there are open questions about our pricing, possibly something is not covered in the FAQ section. This part can be found in most options we tested and largely available in the first paid plan.
Ability to send campaign emails
From Time to Time we send mails Using our live chat. We think that it’s a good way to retarget our viewers because we should be able to send relevant content according to some metrics those live talks offer. To be honest, we are not sending many mails, because we hate spam on the side. Therefore we want to send specific emails to specific target groups and again: we really enjoy the implementation in the Crisp customer. It’s straightforward and satisfied our needs at a reasonable price tag.
Number of agents
The agent chairs is rather Interesting, it’s something you can control. You could choose one accounts for the whole team (which can be cheap with the majority of solutions), or you might go for one seat for each team member. Since we like to have that personal approach to our customers the notion of using one account for the entire group was dropped immediately. We have started to compare the very first paid plan contrary to most of the high tier plans to see how the price scales again. The highest prices we discovered were approximately ~$155/m per chair where the scope was somewhere from $15/m to this. We had a peek at Crisp again and saw that their greatest package has unlimited agents chairs included. Additionally, their free plan allowed 2 agents, which was great for analyzing. Everybody enjoys integrations. Integrations to Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats provide integrations to the key stations. We do not really utilize integrations that much, but the one we use the most is with Slack. Slack is the main communication tool in our company, we use it on a daily basis and included most of our resources already – so we concentrated on how they work and perform together with Slack. We tested some of them and many are actually working quite well. We found one that has enormous delays when messaging from and also to Slack that was a no-go for us. We reported that issue to them, but we don’t know if they changed it because we left six months ago. Together with Crisp the integration worked immediately, notifications came immediately and the entire setup was done in a few minutes.
“Crisp is the simplest way To speak with your clients. From sales to customer support, Crisp is made to keep your workflow easy. From live chat to email, Crisp offers one station to reply to your users using a very simple team inbox where you can manage all of your user inquiries.”
From our experience, Crisp actually Ships with all the attention on such chat experience for the customers. That is precisely what we were looking for as we evaluated other solutions.
This one is tricky. If you read The past few points you noticed that we compared the lower tier programs and attribute together with the maximum tier plans, some are cheap at the beginning and become costly as you use them. After using Crisp for six months today, and changed from a competitor because of the expensive”ending” and those attribute we didn’t need but would need to pay for. We are glad to state that we believe we got the very best match for us, maybe it will fit as nicely for you. We found the list of 8 aspects above is all you need to locate your best match.
We made contact with incredible Fantastic people (thank You!) And businesses all around the world. We could have had the same experience with other live discussions too, but the price tag combined with the feature set Crisp does offer, we would and already do recommend it to all customers who are searching for a live discussion . We have updated to the Crisp unlimited plan a while ago, and are glad that we made that choice.
