Why Select Crisp? Live Service Chat
In this article I’ll cover our Experience with Crisp, the reason we changed, and how you can make the right decision for your business and startup too. You will know how to compare live talks and that metrics might be significant for you also. Live Service Chat
How was that decision made?
Taking a Look at the market leaders With live chat feature out there, we found Crisp via Producthunt. After we have made a Spreadsheet with numerous live chat vendors, we identified that the core feature and metrics we were looking for.
What did we use before?
We’ve Used multiple other live chat earlier, which shifted their attention from a live conversation to an”all in 1 company suite”. Their live chat still functions, but metrics that are important for us were eliminated. We’ve used those metrics for our monthly reports, and client overviews, growth rates and more. After we were in for four months those metrics vanished and were replaced by other metrics. We’ve obtained a leaderboard for our team members, which we didn’t use because we are searching for quality service rather than quantity and the pricing appears to outperform the benefit. So our decision was clear at that moment: we had to move on.
We found 14 times background, 30 days History and unlimited history (for greater plans that this is common), here the price scaling was interesting. All live talks we tried had that attribute, some at higher price tags, others combined with a poorly implemented search feature, and so the history was not available. Together with Crisp, the boundless history is already available with their original paid plan, and it not only ships with a fair price tag, but also their hunt works exceptionally well.
How many contacts do we need?
First, we attempted to answer that Question with another question”how many clients will chat with us?” – and that has been incorrect – we made that mistake once. We can’t limit on the contacts we make because we actually wish to earn contact with all of them. Unlimited contacts was exactly what we were looking for (at a reasonable price label ). What we discovered were chats with 100 active contacts for $0/month that was quite pleasant, we climbed that up a bit to 1,000 active contacts and the price tag switched from $0/m to ~$125/m or more (~$500/m). We’ve had that experience of cost scaling for the majority of the solutions. As we did the Exact Same contact metric evaluation for Crisp we watched something different:
So at Crisp, you do not scale by usage – which is huge! They think the identical way we do in Storyblokwe do not wish to restrict the user to the use of this system (eg. Content entrances or entries ), we want to scale as their team scales. So at Crisp you choose a program and you can scale the amounts from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or more) with the same price tag.
Trigger events / communications
Automated triggers are used to Send a specific message on predefined events, eg. “a guest is on precisely the same site for over 30 seconds”. Those causes are a good way to help your viewers with questions they could have. We use it on our pricing page because from time to time there are open questions about our pricing, possibly something isn’t covered in the FAQ section. This component can be found in all solutions we analyzed and mainly available in the first paid plan.
Possibility to send campaign messages
From time to time we send mails Utilizing our live chat. We think that it’s a fantastic way to retarget our audience because we should be able to send relevant content based on some metrics those live chats provide. To be honest, we are not sending many emails, because we also hate spam on the side. Therefore we like to send specific mails to specific target groups and again: we really like the execution in the Crisp client. It’s straightforward and fulfilled our needs at a sensible price tag.
Number of agents
The agent seats is kinda Intriguing, it’s something that you can control. You could choose 1 accounts for the whole team (which is cheap with the majority of solutions), or you might go for a single seat for every team member. Since we want to have that personal approach to our clients the idea of using one account for the entire team was dropped immediately. We have begun to compare the very first paid program contrary to most of the high tier programs to see how the price scales . The highest prices we found were approximately ~$155/m per chair where the scope was somewhere from $15/m to that. We had a peek at Crisp again and saw their highest package has unlimited agents seats included. Additionally, their free plan allowed 2 representatives, which was excellent for analyzing. Live Service Chat
Everybody loves integrations. Integrations to Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats offer integrations into the main channels. We don’t really use integrations that much, but the one we use the most is with Slack. Slack is the principal communication tool in our company, we utilize it on a daily basis and added most of our resources already – so we focused on how they operate and perform with Slack. We tested some of these and most are actually working very well. We found one which has huge delays when messaging from and also to Slack that was a no-go for all of us. We reported that issue to them, but we do not know whether they changed it since we left six months ago. With Crisp the integration worked immediately, notifications came immediately and the whole setup was completed in a few minutes.
“Crisp is the simplest way To speak with your clients. From sales to customer support, Crisp is designed to keep your workflow simple. From live chat to email, Crisp offers a single station to reply to your users using a simple team inbox where you can handle all your user queries.”
From our experience, Crisp really Ships with the focus on that chat experience for your clients. That is precisely what we were searching for as we evaluated other solutions.
This one is tricky. If you read The past few points you saw that we contrasted the lower grade programs and feature with the highest tier plans, some are economical at the start and be costly as you use them. After using Crisp for six months today, and switched from a competition because of the expensive”ending” and those feature we did not need but would have to cover. We are glad to state that we think we got the best match for us, perhaps it will fit as well for you. We found that the list of 8 aspects above is all you want to find your best match.
We made contact with incredible great people (thank You!) And businesses all over the globe. We could have had the same experience with other live chats too, but the price combined with the attribute set Crisp does offer, we would and do recommend it to all clients that are searching for a live discussion . We have upgraded to the Crisp unlimited plan some time ago, and are thankful that we made that decision.
