Why choose Crisp? Live Video Chat App
In this article I’ll cover our Experience with Crisp, why we changed, and the way you can make the perfect decision for your business and startup as well. You will understand how to compare live talks and that metrics could be significant for you too. Live Video Chat App
How was that choice made?
Taking a Look at the market leaders With live chat feature out there, we also found Crisp via Producthunt. After we have created a Spreadsheet with numerous live chat vendors, we defined the core feature and metrics we were searching for.
What did we use previously?
We have Used multiple other live chat before, which somehow shifted their attention from a live chat to a”all in 1 business suite”. Their live chat still works, but metrics that are important for us were removed. We have used those metrics for our monthly reports, and customer overviews, growth rates and much more. After we had been in for four weeks those metrics disappeared and were replaced with other metrics. We’ve got a leaderboard for our team members, which we didn’t use because we’re searching for quality support rather than quantity as well as the pricing seems to outperform the benefit. So our choice was apparent at the moment: we needed to proceed.
We found 14 times history, 30 days History and unlimited history (for higher plans this is common), also here the cost scaling was intriguing. All live chats we attempted had that feature, some at higher price tagsothers together with a poorly executed search feature, therefore the history wasn’t accessible. Together with Crisp, the boundless history is currently available with their first paid plan, and it not only ships with a fair price tag, but also their search works exceptionally well.
How many connections do we need?
We attempted to answer that Question with another question”how many clients will chat with us?” – and that has been incorrect – we made that mistake once. We can’t restrict on the contacts we create because we really wish to make contact with all of them. Unlimited contacts was what we were looking for (in a reasonable price label ). What we found were discussions with 100 active contacts for $0/month which was quite nice, we climbed that up a little to 1,000 active contacts and the price tag shifted from $0/m to ~$125/m or even more (~$500/m). We have had that experience of price scaling for the majority of the solutions. As we did the same contact metric test for Crisp we saw something different:
So at Crisp, you do not scale by use – that is huge! They think the same way we do in Storyblok, we do not wish to limit the user to the usage of the system (eg. Content entrances or contacts), we would like to scale because their staff scales. So at Crisp you choose a program and you may scale the amounts from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or much more ) with exactly the same price tag.
Trigger events / communications
Automated triggers are used to Send a particular message on predefined events, eg. “a visitor is on precisely the same website for more than 30 seconds”. Those causes are a fantastic method to help your audience with queries they may have. We use it on our pricing page since from time to time there are open questions about our pricing, maybe something isn’t covered in the FAQ section. This component can be found in all solutions we tested and mainly available in the very first paid plan.
Possibility to send campaign messages
From Time to Time we send mails Using our live chat. We think it’s a fantastic way to retarget our viewers because we should be able to send pertinent content according to some metrics people live chats provide. To be honest, we’re not sending many emails, because we hate spam on our side. Therefore we want to send certain mails to specific target groups and : we really like the implementation in the Crisp client. It is simple and satisfied our needs at a sensible price tag.
Number of brokers
The agent chairs is kinda Intriguing, it is something that you can control. You could choose one accounts for the whole group (which is cheap with most solutions), or you could go for one chair for each team member. Since we like to have that personal approach to our clients the notion of using one account for the entire team was dropped instantly. We’ve started to compare the first paid program against most of the high tier plans to see the way the cost scales . The greatest prices we found were about ~$155/m per seat where the range was somewhere from $15/m to that. We had a peek at Crisp again and saw that their greatest bundle has unlimited agents seats included. Also, their free plan allowed 2 agents, which was great for testing. Live Video Chat App
Everybody enjoys integrations. Integrations into Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats provide integrations to the key channels. We don’t actually utilize integrations that much, but the one we use the maximum is with Slack. Slack is the main communication tool in our company, we utilize it on a daily basis and included the majority of our tools – so we focused on how they work and perform together with Slack. We analyzed some of them and many are actually working quite well. We found one that has huge delays when messaging from and to Slack which was a no-go for us. We reported that difficulty to these, but we do not know if they changed it because we left six months ago. With Crisp the integration worked immediately, notifications came immediately and the whole set-up was completed in a few minutes.
“Crisp is the simplest way To communicate with your clients. From sales to client support, Crisp is designed to maintain your workflow easy. From live chat to email, Crisp provides a single channel to answer to your users employing a simple team inbox where you can handle all of your user inquiries.”
From our experience, Crisp actually Ships with the focus on that chat experience for your customers. Which is precisely what we were looking for as we evaluated other solutions.
This one is tricky. If you read The past few things you saw that we compared the lower tier programs and feature together with the maximum tier programs, some are economical at the start and be expensive as you use them. After using Crisp for six months today, and changed from a competitor because of the pricey”ending” and those attribute we didn’t need but would need to pay for. We’re pleased to say we think we got the best fit for us, perhaps it will fit as well for you. We saw the list of 8 facets above is all you need to locate your best fit.
We made contact with unbelievable Fantastic people (thank You!) And companies all around the globe. We might have had exactly the same experience with other live chats as well, but the price tag combined with the attribute set Crisp does offer, we’d and do recommend it to all customers who are looking for a live discussion . We have upgraded to the Crisp endless plan a while ago, and are thankful that we made that decision.
