Why choose Crisp? Message Routing
In this article I’ll cover our Expertise with Crisp, the reason we changed, and how it is possible to make the perfect choice for your company and startup too. You may know how to compare live chats and which metrics could be important for you too. Message Routing
How was that decision made?
Taking a Look at the market leaders With live chat feature on the market, we also found Crisp through Producthunt. After we’ve created a Spreadsheet with multiple live chat sellers, we defined the core feature and metrics we were searching for.
What did we use previously?
We’ve Used several other live chat before, which somehow shifted their focus from a live chat to a”all in one company suite”. Their live chat still functions, but metrics which are important for us were eliminated. We’ve used those metrics for our yearly reports, and client overviews, growth rates and much more. After we had been in for four weeks those metrics vanished and were replaced with other metrics. We have got a leaderboard for our staff members, which we did not use because we’re looking for quality support and not quantity and the pricing seems to outperform the advantage. Our decision was clear at that moment: we had to proceed.
We found 14 times history, 30 days History and history (for higher plans that this is common), here the cost scaling was interesting. All live talks we attempted had this feature, some at higher price tags, others together with a badly implemented search feature, therefore the history wasn’t available. Together with Crisp, the boundless history is already available with their original paid plan, and it not only ships with a reasonable price tag, also their search works astoundingly well.
How many connections do we want?
We tried to answer that Question with another question”how many customers will talk with us?” – and that has been incorrect – we made that mistake already once. We can not limit on the contacts we create because we really wish to earn contact with all of them. Unlimited contacts was what we were searching for (in a reasonable price tag). What we found were discussions with 100 active contacts for $0/month which was quite nice, we scaled up that a bit to 1,000 active contacts and the price tag shifted from $0/m to ~$125/m or even more (~$500/m). We’ve had that experience of price scaling for most of the solutions. As we did the same contact metric evaluation for Crisp we saw something different:
So at Crisp, you don’t scale by usage – which is enormous! They think the same way we do at Storyblok, we do not wish to restrict the user to the usage of the system (eg. Content entrances or contacts), we would like to scale because their staff scales. So at Crisp you choose a program and you may scale the amounts from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or much more ) with the same price tag.
Trigger events / communications
Automated triggers are Utilized to Send a specific message on predefined events, eg. “a guest is on precisely the exact same website for more than 30 seconds”. Those causes are a fantastic way to help your viewers with queries they may have. We use it on our pricing page since from time to time there are open questions regarding our pricing, maybe something isn’t covered in the FAQ section. This part is available in all solutions we tested and largely available in the very first paid program.
Ability to send campaign emails
From time to time we send mails Utilizing our live chat. We think that it’s a fantastic way to retarget our viewers because we ought to be able to send relevant content based on some metrics people live talks provide. In all honesty, we’re not sending many mails, because we hate spam on our side. So we like to send specific emails to specific target groups and again: we really like the execution in the Crisp client. It’s straightforward and fulfilled our needs at a reasonable price tag.
Number of brokers
The agent chairs is kinda Interesting, it is something that you can control. You could choose 1 accounts for the whole team (which can be cheap with most options ), or you could go for one seat for each team member. Since we like to have this personal approach to our customers the idea of using one account for the whole team was dropped immediately. We’ve started to compare the first paid program contrary to the majority of the high tier plans to see how the cost scales . The greatest prices we found were about ~$155/m per chair where the range was somewhere from $15/m to this. We had a peek at Crisp again and found their greatest package has unlimited agents chairs included. Also, their free strategy permitted 2 agents, which was great for analyzing. Message Routing
Everybody enjoys integrations. Integrations into Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats offer integrations to the key channels. We don’t really utilize integrations that much, but the one we use the maximum is using Slack. Slack is the principal communication tool in our business, we utilize it on a daily basis and included most of our resources already – so we concentrated on how they work and function together with Slack. We tested some of these and many are actually working quite well. We found one which has huge delays when messaging from and also to Slack which was a no-go for all of us. We reported that difficulty to them, but we do not know if they changed it since we left six months ago. With Crisp the integration worked instantly, notifications arrived immediately and the whole setup was done in a few minutes.
What is Crisp?
“Crisp is the simplest way To speak with your customers. From sales to client service, Crisp is designed to keep your workflow easy. From live chat to email, Crisp offers a single channel to reply to your users employing a very simple team inbox where you can manage all of your user inquiries.”
From our experience, Crisp actually Ships with all the focus on that chat experience for your customers. Which is precisely what we were searching for as we evaluated other alternatives.
This one is tricky. If you read The past few points you noticed that we compared the lower grade programs and feature with the maximum tier programs, some are economical at the beginning and be expensive as you use them. After using Crisp for six months now, and changed from a competitor because of the pricey”end” and those feature we did not need but might need to cover. We are glad to state we think we got the best match for us, perhaps it will fit as nicely for you. We saw the listing of 8 facets above is all you need to find your own best fit.
We made contact with incredible great people (thank You!) And companies all around the world. We could have had the exact same experience with other live chats too, but the price tag combined with the attribute set Crisp does offer, we’d and already do recommend it to all customers who are looking for a live discussion themselves. We’ve updated to the Crisp endless plan a while ago, and are thankful we made that choice.
