Why Select Crisp? Onclick
In this article I’ll cover our Expertise with Crisp, why we switched, and the way you can make the right choice for your company and startup too. You may understand how to compare live chats and which metrics might be important for you too. Onclick
How was that choice made?
Taking a Look at the market leaders With live chat feature on the market, we found Crisp via Producthunt. After we’ve created a Spreadsheet with numerous live chat vendors, we defined the core feature and metrics we were searching for.
What did we use previously?
We’ve Used several other live chat before, which somehow shifted their focus from a live chat to an”all in one business suite”. Their live chat still functions, but metrics which are significant for us were removed. We have used those metrics for our yearly reports, and client overviews, growth rates and much more. After we were in for four months those metrics vanished and were replaced with other metrics. We’ve got a leaderboard for our staff members, which we did not use because we’re searching for quality service and not quantity as well as the pricing appears to outperform the benefit. So our choice was apparent at that moment: we needed to proceed.
We found 14 times background, 30 days History and history (for greater plans this is common), also here the price scaling was intriguing. All live chats we tried had this feature, some at higher price tags, others combined with a poorly executed search feature, and so the background was not accessible. Together with Crisp, the boundless history is currently available with their original paid plan, and it not only ships with a fair price tag, also their search works exceptionally well.
How many connections do we need?
We attempted to answer that Question with another question”how many clients will talk with us” – and that has been incorrect – we made that mistake already once. We can not restrict on the contacts we create because we actually want to earn contact with them all. Unlimited contacts was what we were searching for (at an affordable price tag). What we discovered were discussions with 100 active contacts for $0/month that was quite pleasant, we scaled up that a bit to 1,000 active contacts and the price tag shifted from $0/m to ~$125/m or more (~$500/m). We have had that experience of cost scaling for the majority of the solutions. As we did the same contact metric test for Crisp we saw something different:
So at Crisp, you do not scale by usage – which is huge! They believe the same way we do in Storyblok, we do not want to limit the consumer to the usage of the machine (eg. Content entrances or contacts), we want to scale as their staff scales. So at Crisp you select a plan and you may scale the amounts from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or more) with the same price tag.
Trigger events / messages
Automated triggers are Utilized to Send a particular message on predefined events, eg. “a guest is on the exact same site for more than 30 seconds”. Those causes are a good way to help your viewers with queries they could have. We use it on our pricing page because from time to time there are open questions regarding our pricing, maybe something is not covered in the FAQ section. This component is available in most solutions we analyzed and mainly available in the first paid plan.
Possibility to send campaign emails
From Time to Time we send emails Using our live chat. We think that it’s a good way to retarget our audience because we ought to be able to send relevant content according to some metrics people live chats provide. In all honesty, we are not sending many mails, because we also hate spam on our side. So we like to send certain emails to particular target groups and again: we really like the implementation in the Crisp customer. It’s simple and fulfilled our needs at a reasonable price tag.
Amount of brokers
The agent seats is kinda Intriguing, it is something that you can control. You could choose one accounts for the entire team (which is cheap with the majority of options ), or you could go for one seat for every team member. Since we like to have this personal approach to our customers the idea of using one accounts for the entire group was dropped immediately. We’ve started to compare the very first paid program contrary to the majority of the high tier programs to see the way the price scales again. The greatest costs we found were about ~$155/m per chair where the scope was somewhere from $15/m to that. We had a peek at Crisp again and saw their highest bundle has unlimited agents chairs included. Additionally, their free strategy permitted 2 agents, which was excellent for analyzing. Onclick
Everybody loves integrations. Integrations into Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats offer integrations to the key stations. We do not actually utilize integrations that much, but the one we use the most is with Slack. Slack is the principal communication tool in our business, we use it on a daily basis and added most of our resources – so we concentrated on how they operate and function together with Slack. We tested some of them and most are actually working very well. We found one which has enormous delays when messaging from and also to Slack that was a no-go for all of us. We reported that issue to them, but we don’t know whether they changed it because we left six months ago. Together with Crisp the integration worked immediately, notifications arrived immediately and the entire setup was done in a few minutes.
What is Crisp?
“Crisp is the simplest way To communicate with your customers. From sales to client support, Crisp is designed to keep your workflow simple. From live chat to email, Crisp provides a single station to answer to your users using a very simple team inbox where you can handle all your user queries.”
From our experience, Crisp actually Ships with the attention on that chat experience for the clients. Which is exactly what we were searching for as we evaluated other alternatives.
This one is tricky. If you read The past few points you noticed that we compared the lower grade programs and attribute together with the highest tier plans, some are cheap at the beginning and become costly as you use them. After using Crisp for six months now, and switched from a competition because of that pricey”end” and those feature we didn’t need but might need to cover. We are pleased to say that we believe we got the very best fit for us, maybe it will fit as nicely for you. We saw the list of 8 aspects above is all you want to find your own best match.
We made contact with incredible Fantastic people (thank You!) And businesses all over the world. We could have had the same experience with other live discussions as well, but the price tag combined with the feature set Crisp does provide, we would and already do recommend it to all clients that are searching for a live chat . We have upgraded to the Crisp unlimited plan some time ago, and are glad that we made that choice.
