Why choose Crisp? Pop Up Hide
In this article I’ll cover our Experience with Crisp, why we changed, and how you can make the right decision for your company and startup as well. You may understand how to compare live talks and that metrics might be important for you too. Pop Up Hide
How was that decision made?
Taking a Look at the market leaders With live chat feature out there, we found Crisp via Producthunt. After we’ve made a Spreadsheet with multiple live chat sellers, we defined the core attribute and metrics we were looking for.
What did we use before?
We have Used multiple other live chat earlier, which somehow shifted their focus from a live chat to an”all in one business suite”. Their live chat still works, but metrics that are important for us were eliminated. We have used those metrics for our monthly reports, and client overviews, growth rates and much more. After we had been in for four weeks those metrics vanished and were replaced with other metrics. We have got a leaderboard for our team members, which we didn’t use because we’re looking for quality support rather than quantity as well as the pricing seems to outperform the benefit. Our choice was clear at that moment: we needed to move on.
We found 14 times background, 30 days History and unlimited history (for higher plans this is common), also here the cost scaling was intriguing. All live chats we tried had that feature, a few at higher price tags, others combined with a badly executed search feature, therefore the history was not accessible. With Crisp, the boundless history is currently available with their original paid program, and it not only ships with a fair price tag, but also their search works astoundingly well.
How many contacts do we want?
First, we tried to answer that Question with another question”how many clients will talk with us?” – and that was incorrect – we made that mistake already once. We can’t limit on the contacts we create because we actually wish to make contact with them all. Unlimited contacts was exactly what we were searching for (at a reasonable price tag). What we discovered were chats with 100 active contacts for $0/month which was quite pleasant, we climbed that up a bit to 1,000 active contacts along with the price tag shifted from $0/m to ~$125/m or more (~$500/m). We’ve had that experience of cost scaling for most of the solutions. As we did exactly the same contact metric evaluation for Crisp we saw something different:
So at Crisp, you don’t scale by usage – that is enormous! They believe the identical way we do at Storyblokwe don’t wish to limit the user to the usage of this machine (eg. Content entries or entries ), we would like to scale because their team scales. So at Crisp you choose a program and you can scale the amounts from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or much more ) with exactly the exact same price tag.
Trigger events / communications
Automated triggers are Utilized to Send a specific message on predefined events, eg. “a guest is on the same site for over 30 seconds”. Those triggers are a good method to help your audience with queries they may have. We use it on our pricing page since from time to time there are open questions about our pricing, maybe something isn’t covered in the FAQ section. This component is available in all options we analyzed and mainly available in the first paid plan.
Possibility to send campaign messages
From time to time we send mails Using our live chat. We think that it’s a good way to retarget our audience because we ought to have the ability to send pertinent content according to some metrics those live chats provide. In all honesty, we’re not sending many mails, because we hate spam on our side. So we like to send specific mails to specific target groups and again: we really enjoy the implementation in the Crisp client. It’s straightforward and satisfied our needs at a sensible price tag.
Amount of agents
The broker chairs is rather Intriguing, it’s something that you can control. You could choose 1 account for the entire group (which can be cheap with the majority of solutions), or you could go for a single seat for every team member. Since we like to get this personal approach to our clients the notion of using one accounts for the whole group was dropped immediately. We’ve begun to compare the first paid plan contrary to most of the high tier plans to see the way the price scales . The highest prices we found were approximately ~$155/m per seat where the scope was somewhere from $15/m to that. We had a look at Crisp again and found their highest package has unlimited agents seats included. Additionally, their free plan permitted 2 agents, which was excellent for testing. Pop Up Hide
Everybody enjoys integrations. Integrations to Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats offer integrations to the key stations. We don’t really use integrations that much, but the one we use the most is with Slack. Slack is the principal communication tool in our business, we utilize it on a daily basis and added the majority of our tools already – so we focused on how they operate and perform together with Slack. We analyzed some of these and many are actually working quite well. We found one which has huge delays when messaging from and to Slack which was a no-go for us. We reported that issue to them, but we do not know if they changed it because we left six months ago. With Crisp the integration worked immediately, notifications arrived immediately and the entire set-up was done in a few minutes.
What is Crisp?
“Crisp is the simplest way To speak with your customers. From sales to client service, Crisp is made to maintain your workflow simple. From live chat to email, Crisp offers a single station to answer to your users employing a simple team inbox where you are able to handle all your user inquiries.”
From our experience, Crisp actually Ships with all the focus on such chat experience for the clients. Which is precisely what we were searching for as we evaluated other alternatives.
This one is tricky. If you read The past few things you saw that we compared the lower grade programs and attribute with the maximum tier programs, some are economical at the start and be costly as you use them. After using Crisp for six months now, and switched from a competitor because of that pricey”end” and those attribute we didn’t need but might need to cover. We are pleased to say that we believe we got the best match for us, perhaps it will fit as well for you. We saw that the listing of 8 facets above is all you need to locate your best fit.
We made contact with unbelievable great people (thank You!) And businesses all over the world. We could have had exactly the same experience with other live discussions too, but the price combined with the feature set Crisp does offer, we would and do recommend it to all customers who are looking for a live discussion themselves. We have upgraded to the Crisp endless plan a while ago, and are thankful that we made that choice.
