Why Select Crisp? Strikingly
In this article I’ll cover our Expertise with Crisp, why we changed, and the way you can make the right decision for your company and startup too. You may understand how to compare live talks and that metrics might be significant for you too. Strikingly
How was that decision made?
Looking at the market leaders With live chat feature out there, we also found Crisp through Producthunt. After we’ve created a Spreadsheet with multiple live chat vendors, we defined the core feature and metrics we were searching for.
What did we use before?
We have Used several other live chat before, which shifted their attention from a live conversation to an”all in 1 business suite”. Their live chat still works, but metrics which are important for us were removed. We have used those metrics for our yearly reports, and client overviews, growth rates and much more. After we were in for four months those metrics vanished and were replaced with other metrics. We have got a leaderboard for our team members, which we didn’t use because we’re looking for quality support and not quantity as well as the pricing seems to outperform the advantage. Our choice was apparent at that moment: we had to move on.
We found 14 days history, 30 days History and unlimited history (for greater plans that this is common), also here the price scaling was interesting. All live talks we attempted had this attribute, some at higher price tagsothers combined with a badly executed search feature, and so the history was not available. With Crisp, the boundless history is currently available with their original paid plan, and it not only ships with a reasonable price tag, also their search works astoundingly well.
How many connections do we need?
First, we attempted to answer that Question with another question”how many clients will talk with us” – and that has been wrong – we made that mistake once. We can not limit on the connections we make because we actually wish to earn contact with all of them. Endless contacts was exactly what we were looking for (at a reasonable price label ). What we discovered were chats with 100 active contacts for $0/month that was quite nice, we scaled that up a bit to 1,000 active contacts along with the price tag shifted from $0/m to ~$125/m or even more (~$500/m). We’ve had that experience of cost scaling for the majority of the solutions. As we did the same contact metric test for Crisp we watched something different:
So at Crisp, you do not scale by usage – which is enormous! They believe the identical way we do at Storyblok, we don’t want to restrict the user to the usage of this machine (eg. Content entries or contacts), we want to scale as their team scales. So at Crisp you select a plan and you may scale the numbers from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or more) with the exact same price tag.
Trigger events / messages
Automated triggers are Utilized to Send a specific message on predefined events, eg. “a visitor is on the same website for more than 30 seconds”. Those causes are a good way to help your viewers with queries they could have. We use it on our pricing page since from time to time there are open questions regarding our pricing, possibly something isn’t covered in the FAQ section. This component is available in most options we tested and mainly available in the very first paid program.
Possibility to send campaign emails
From time to time we send emails Using our live chat. We think it’s a good way to retarget our viewers because we should be able to send pertinent content based on some metrics those live chats offer. To be honest, we are not sending many mails, because we hate spam on our side. So we want to send certain mails to particular target groups and : we really like the execution in the Crisp customer. It’s straightforward and satisfied our needs at a reasonable price tag.
Amount of agents
The broker seats is rather Interesting, it’s something you can control. You could choose 1 accounts for the entire team (which can be cheap with the majority of options ), or you might go for a single seat for every team member. Since we want to have this personal approach to our clients the idea of using one account for the whole group was dropped immediately. We’ve started to compare the very first paid plan contrary to the majority of the high tier plans to see the way the cost scales . The highest costs we found were approximately ~$155/m per seat where the range was somewhere from $15/m to that. We had a look at Crisp again and found their highest package has unlimited agents chairs included. Also, their free plan permitted 2 agents, which was excellent for testing. Strikingly
Everybody enjoys integrations. Integrations into Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats provide integrations to the key stations. We do not actually use integrations that much, but the one we use the most is with Slack. Slack is the principal communication tool in our business, we use it on a daily basis and added the majority of our resources – so we focused on how they operate and function together with Slack. We tested some of these and many are actually working very well. We found one that has huge delays when messaging from and to Slack that was a no-go for all of us. We reported that issue to these, but we do not know if they changed it since we left six months ago. With Crisp the integration worked instantly, notifications arrived immediately and the entire set-up was completed in a few minutes.
“Crisp is the simplest way To communicate with your customers. From sales to client support, Crisp is made to keep your workflow easy. From live chat to email, Crisp provides a single channel to reply to your users employing a simple team inbox where you can handle all your user inquiries.”
From our experience, Crisp actually Ships with all the focus on such chat experience for the customers. Which is precisely what we were searching for since we evaluated other alternatives.
This one is tricky. If you read The last few things you saw that we compared the lower grade programs and attribute together with the maximum tier programs, some are economical at the beginning and be costly as you use them. After using Crisp for six months today, and changed from a competition because of the pricey”end” and those feature we did not need but would have to pay for. We’re pleased to say we think we have the best fit for us, perhaps it will fit as well for you. We found the listing of 8 facets above is all you want to find your own best match.
We made contact with incredible great people (thank You!) And companies all over the globe. We might have had exactly the same experience with other live discussions as well, but the price combined with the attribute set Crisp does provide, we’d and already do recommend it to all customers that are looking for a live discussion . We’ve updated to the Crisp endless plan a while ago, and are glad we made that decision.
