Why Select Crisp? The Live Chat Software
In this article I’ll cover our Expertise with Crisp, why we switched, and how it is possible to make the perfect choice for your business and startup as well. You may know how to compare live talks and that metrics might be important for you too. The Live Chat Software
How was that decision made?
Looking at the market leaders With live chat feature out there, we also found Crisp through Producthunt. After we’ve created a Spreadsheet with numerous live chat vendors, we identified that the core feature and metrics we were searching for.
What did we use previously?
We’ve Used several other live chat before, which somehow shifted their focus from a live conversation to a”all in 1 business suite”. Their live chat still functions, but metrics which are significant for us were removed. We’ve used those metrics for our yearly reports, and customer overviews, growth rates and more. After we had been in for four weeks those metrics vanished and were replaced by other metrics. We have obtained a leaderboard for our staff members, which we did not use because we are searching for quality support and not quantity and the pricing seems to outperform the benefit. So our decision was clear at the moment: we needed to proceed.
We found 14 days background, 30 days History and history (for greater plans this is common), here the cost scaling was interesting. All live chats we tried had that attribute, some at higher price tags, others together with a poorly executed search feature, and so the background wasn’t accessible. With Crisp, the unlimited history is currently available with their first paid plan, and it not only ships with a fair price tag, also their search works exceptionally well.
How many connections do we want?
We tried to answer that Question with another question”how many clients will talk with us” – and that has been wrong – we made that mistake once. We can’t restrict on the connections we create because we actually want to make contact with all of them. Unlimited contacts was exactly what we were searching for (in a reasonable price label ). What we discovered were chats with 100 active contacts for $0/month that was quite nice, we scaled up that a little to 1,000 active contacts along with the price tag shifted from $0/m to ~$125/m or more (~$500/m). We’ve had that experience of price scaling for the majority of the solutions. As we did exactly the Exact Same contact metric test for Crisp we watched something different:
So at Crisp, you do not scale by usage – that is huge! They think the identical way we do in Storyblok, we do not want to restrict the user to the usage of this system (eg. Content entries or entries ), we would like to scale because their team scales. So at Crisp you choose a plan and you may scale the amounts from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or much more ) with the same price tag.
Trigger events / messages
Automated triggers are Utilized to Send a particular message on predefined events, eg. “a visitor is on the exact same website for more than 30 seconds”. Those causes are a good method to help your audience with questions they could have. We use it on our pricing page because from time to time there are open questions about our pricing, possibly something is not covered in the FAQ section. This part is available in most options we analyzed and largely available in the very first paid program.
Possibility to send campaign messages
From Time to Time we send emails Using our live chat. We think that it’s a fantastic way to retarget our viewers because we ought to be able to send pertinent content according to some metrics those live talks provide. To be honest, we are not sending many emails, because we also hate spam on the side. So we like to send specific emails to specific target groups and : we really like the implementation in the Crisp client. It is straightforward and satisfied our needs at a reasonable price tag.
Number of brokers
The agent seats is rather Intriguing, it’s something that you can control. You could choose one accounts for the entire team (which is cheap with the majority of solutions), or you might go for one chair for every team member. Since we want to get that personal approach to our customers the notion of using one accounts for the entire group was dropped instantly. We have started to compare the first paid plan against the majority of the high tier programs to see how the cost scales again. The highest prices we discovered were about ~$155/m per seat where the range was somewhere from $15/m to this. We had a peek at Crisp again and found their highest bundle has unlimited agents seats included. Also, their free strategy allowed 2 agents, which was great for testing. The Live Chat Software
Everybody enjoys integrations. Integrations into Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats provide integrations into the key channels. We don’t really use integrations that much, but the one we use the maximum is with Slack. Slack is the main communication tool in our company, we use it on a daily basis and added most of our tools already – so we concentrated on how they work and perform with Slack. We tested some of these and many are actually working quite well. We found one which has enormous delays when messaging from and to Slack which was a no-go for all of us. We reported that issue to these, but we do not know if they changed it because we left six months ago. With Crisp the integration worked immediately, notifications arrived immediately and the whole setup was done in a few minutes.
What is Crisp?
“Crisp is the simplest way To speak with your clients. From sales to client service, Crisp is made to keep your workflow simple. From live chat to email, Crisp offers one station to reply to your users using a simple team inbox where you are able to manage all of your user queries.”
From our experience, Crisp really Ships with the focus on that chat experience for the clients. Which is precisely what we were searching for since we evaluated other solutions.
This one is tricky. If you read The past few points you saw that we compared the lower tier plans and feature together with the maximum tier plans, some are economical at the beginning and become expensive as you use them. After using Crisp for six months now, and changed from a competition because of that expensive”ending” and those feature we did not need but might have to cover. We’re glad to say that we believe we have the best fit for us, maybe it will fit as nicely for you. We found the list of 8 facets above is all you need to locate your best fit.
We made contact with unbelievable Fantastic people (thank You!) And companies all around the world. We might have had exactly the exact same experience with other live chats as well, but the price tag combined with the feature set Crisp does provide, we’d and do recommend it to all of clients that are looking for a live discussion themselves. We have updated to the Crisp endless plan a while ago, and are thankful that we made that decision.
